Really enjoyed the food here. Authentic food with nice, clean aesthetic. We had a large group and typically people were ordering and sitting down but the hostess offered to have us seated and she'd come to our table to order the food and deliver it to our table. The chef also came and asked us how the food was. Seemed like a family restaurant, and family was really sweet! read more

The service is absolutely terrible for people on DoorDash and uber eats, there is no communication involved and when the food arrives, it's absolutely horrible and is considered a health hazard. I ordered cremè brûlée for my family and they made my dasher wait over 30 minutes just to serve me puddles on hot custard that is mean to be served cold. If you don't have the items available to serve to customers who order it, compensate! Don't give this health hazard and disappointment. read more

As I told Danny, the owner, we will be back very soon! And we'll bring friends! After driving by Taco 105 for the past 3 years, we decided to try it based on its reviews! What a great decision! We absolutely loved everything we had! I had plantains, and loved them, despite always avoiding them elsewhere! And the 10+ international taco selection was a stroke of genius! On top of the great food, the service was awesome! Danny and Shirley, the owners, made sure everything was perfect! A great home cooked meal with the owners serving! The Quick: so many flavorful options! Basically, any cuisine you can think of is represented in a taco at this new family-owned, local small business. The Details: carnivore, pescatarian, vegan, vegetarian... They have something for everyone! This is a great spot for a group because it would be amazing to try everything on the menu. I loved my Asians inspired taco with seaweed and fresh ahi tuna. The vegan tacos work great too, especially the house made mushroom and walnut mixture. Definitely worth trying... Good little spot right in Mattituck! We popped in for some pickup thinking it would just be tacos, but they have some really unique flavors. I had a regular Mexican pulled pork and a birria. The birria was INCREDIBLE! The regular pork taco was nothing special and lacked flavor in my optinion. My partner went on the specialty side and got the Hawaiian, Jamaican, and Korean tacos. He loves anything with pineapple, so Hawaiian and Jamaican were very good but Jamaican was number one. The Korean taco was served on a Bao and he loved it too. Excited to go back and try more flavors. The Cuban taco was calling my name! read more

Stopped in for some tacos on the way back from Orient Point. Wasn't sure what to expect as we were big fans of Mattitaco. The inside was pretty much the same but the menu had many more options. The owner was friendly and helpful. There were quite a few taco offerings including International inspired tacos and a ceviche taco as well. Quesadilla, burritos and even desserts. The tacos were good. The El Pastor was filled with shredded pork and was tasty. Bang Bang Thai Shrimp also a good choice but could have used a bit more shrimp. Jerk Chicken was also good but a bit dry. Chicken quesadilla was loaded with tender meat and cheese, very good. Overall good food but more of a take out atmosphere with a few tables. read more

This is the best restaurant on Long Island. I've been here multiple times and everything that I've gotten here has been awesome, I really recommend the Japanese taco and the loaded fries. The owners are also so kind and in the summer sitting outside is great. Will definitely come back here. read more

3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 stars for the creativity. This business was formerly known as Mattitaco, but closed some time in 2023. Chenza's Twisted Tacos replaced this business afterwards (different owners). Fusion tacos? Sign me up! Restaurant has retained some of the old decor, but added a lot more to the menu. Service is quick. The tacos were brought out within a few minutes. The prices are a bit steep for what it is ($6.00+ for 1 taco??) and they're not offering taco combo specials, but surely the food would be good. For lunch, I ordered the Al Pastor Taco and the Bang Bang Thai Shrimp Tacos. The Al Pastor Taco was good, although a bit bland. I found myself needing to add some hot sauce to make it a little more palatable. Surprisingly the hot sauce was not that spicy! The pineapple was fresh, which was a plus. But, not the best al pastor taco I've had. My mom ordered the chicken taco, which she thought was bland. The Bang Bang Thai Shrimp Tacos were better. The chili sauce had a nice spice kick to it and the shrimp were delicious! I only wish they could've added some more of the guacamole, as I didn't really taste it until the very end. Food is definitely better than the former Mattitaco business, but some kinks could still be worked out. I'll be back to give this place another shot down the road. Ordered lunch from here (wish I took pics but was too hungry - LOL) and the tacos were amazing! Located right in the heart of Mattituck and on Main Rd. so central to everything, this is such a nice addition. Ordered the Bang Bang Thai, Jamaican jerk, Japanese, and Carne Asada tacos - all were large and so fresh. The flavors are so unique and compliment each other well, I can't wait to go back and try different tacos. Ordered online too and the online ordering process was seamless - the food was ready very fast and did not get soggy on the drive back (thank goodness!). Can't wait to come back here, everyone needs to try this spot! read more

Owner was snotty and disingenuous. That should have been my clue to walk out the door! On with the review! The tacos themselves were, frankly, terrible. I ordered the Thai Bang Bang taco with shrimp which turned out, to my surprise, to contain NO SHRIMP (and a heavy of disgusting 'guac') and the New England lobster roll taco (for $15) which was filled 98% with shredded lettuce and less than a teaspoon of a terrible mayo/lobster mix. Shall I go on? I SHALL! The tortillas themselves were dreadful, flavorless, and thick, and the street corn had hardly any cojita or dressing. Oh, how I WISH I had NOT ordered take-away ... I did call to question the above and the owner was snide, rude, and dismissed my concerns/call, stating that "we only use a teaspoon of filler for the lobster mix" and this is standard!!!IN WHAT WORLD?!?? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! read more

Does the North Fork actually need another taco place? It turns out the answer is YES! This imaginative approach to tacos, fusing together different regions into absolutely delicious tacos, is a hands down winner. I've tried and loved the Italian, Peruvian, and Cuban tacos. Fresh. Amazing!!! What a great new place, on the North Fork (Mattituck) ...cute little place to eat inside or outside, right on Main Rd, directly across from the Mattituck Theater shopping center. Had lunch, with friends. Everyone was super-impressed & we all agree we will visit again & visit often! Their tacos are huge & full! Such a nice/different variety. Their nachos are REALLY good. Also got the Greek taco-impressive & delicious! Started with chips/salsa while waiting & they were fresh & delicious (not at all like chips from the grocery store) Ordered a burrito & it was great! Too many things to list and we intend on trying them all! Also--the prices were great, too! I've spent way more @ Panera & McD's and got half the amount for more $$! Chenzas is great & the owners helpful & super-friendly! Love this place & a wonderful addition to the community! Enjoy! read more

We came here hoping / expecting really good things. We ordered the chips - salsa and guacamole, chicken super burrito, the Birra taco - at the recommendation of the owner- and the fried fish taco. The tri-colored chips, weird blue-red-white corn tortilla chips were like from a food distributor, not house made in the restaurant. The salsa had very little flavor. The guacamole was overly limed and a smooth texture, like it wasn't fresh. The chicken in the burrito was overcooked, tough and difficult to chew. The rice was mushy. It had very little flavor. The Birra taco was probably the best thing that we ate that night. Although it wasn't the most tender and delicious meat we've ever had. The fish taco was OK. The fish smelled very fishy, which I didn't enjoy. I had asked the owner for some salt to season the food that we had ordered. His response was that they didn't have salt in their restaurant to give to customers because everything is perfectly seasoned. I would beg to differ. If you don't open your ears, and listen to customers and see what's on the plate, going home to be fed the dogs, or being thrown out, you will very quickly go out of business. I do realize that they just opened approximately a month ago or so but I'm not sure I would give them a second chance . read more

Great find in the middle of all the wineries. We had a bad experience at one of the local restaurants and stopped here because we were still hungry. Very creative tacos and reasonably priced. The husband and wife team were there working and were very nice and accommodating. The food was excellent and we will be back next time we are in the area. This is not a waiter/waitress type establishment, but rather a grab and go or seat your self. Perfect if your just looking to eat some great tacos and be on your way. read more

Have now eaten here three times, so I can review a range of the offerings. Note: they now serve margaritas and mojitos in addition to beer. And if you're in the mood for a special beverage that's non-alcoholic the mango smoothie was fresh and delicious. Hands down, you have to try the yucca balls. They're lightly fried and stuffed with melted cheese. The sauce is tangy. Delicious. I've tried several tacos: Thai bang bang shrimp, al pastor, chicken taco, fish taco. The al pastor is not your traditional pork taco. It's served with chunks of fresh pineapple. The chicken was a bit dry, so ask for sauce. My favorites were the Thai bang bang shrimp and the fish taco. The fish is lightly battered and fried, the sauce is delicious, and I love the red cabbage. If I had to choose one it would be the fish taco. But why choose one! ;-) We will be eating here often this summer. The owners are always there, and they are super nice and welcoming. Also, the bathroom is SPOTLESS. Always a good sign I think. read more

Ate lunch here today for Mother's Day since it's my parents' favorite taco joint and I can totally see why! The menu is awesome - what a unique selection of tacos! And they are sooo delicious! The place is run by the nicest husband/wife duo - what a team! Such amazing service and the interior is super clean and cute. We had the Korean taco, Hawaiian taco, chicken quesadilla and buffalo chicken burrito. Everything was top notch. The owners took our order and chatted with us. I really wanted to try the dessert but I showed some restraint and will try something next time. It's a rather unassuming place but the food was really good. I'd definitely recommend you try it. We sat outside on the dog friendly patio on a beautiful friday summer night. We were the only ones at the restaurant which was a little concerning but nice and quiet. Were ordered three tacos each -special of the day Curry Taco, Eggplant Taco and Mushroom Taco. All tacos were vegetarian. Also ordered a side of yucca balls and a kombucha. Total $55.60. The tacos and yucca balls were decent. Coconut Curry Taco was the best out of the bunch. Just not sure it was all worth the price. Pretty pricey for takeout and the amount of food. read more

Went on Friday Labor Day weekend, no customers, thought hmmm, maybe not, one car in large parking lot.... Ok new business let's give it a try, ordered chicken burrito....... Blah , totally tasteless, chicken shredded, actually thought we got beef.... Yellow rice, fine, very little beans, hardly any guacamole and basically no sour cream, all in all, ugh ! Could have gone to Taco Bell for half the price .... Across street is Lucharitos ..... if I only turned right instead of left .... Oh well !!! read more

The menu is varied, and includes a "tacos of the world" section offering a refreshing alternative: I had the fish taco, the Korean - inspired a bun with kimchi - and the birria, with homemade chips and guacamole. I stopped by today for the first time today. I ordered three tacos, a fish taco, and from the "tacos around the world" menu a bang bang shrimp taco and a jerk chicken taco. While the fish taco was standard the two international tacos were ridiculously good. CRAZY GOOD. They were fresh, well proportioned and exploded with flavor. My "to go" order was filled very quickly. While waiting for it to be filled, two other patrons had finished their meal and RAVED about the Peruvian taco. My husband and I were so happy we stumbled upon this restaurant! We were aggravated that there was nowhere with vegan options in Southold and we were ready to give up trying and head home. The menu here has several vegan options and a wide variety of other options including gluten free. Seriously plenty of choices for everyone. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Established in 2018.

Building from Success As a food truck business that grew to become one of Long Island’s favorites. We were featured on radio stations, made tons of appearances at festivals and events across the island and catered to special events and celebrations from birthday parties to weddings and more. Now, we are rebranding putting down roots in a little town called Mattituck as a brick and mortar international taco restaurant that not only serves delicious tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and lots of other deliciousness but will offer delicious desserts! We entered through the bar entrance which was lively but not crazy loud. There was a musician setting up in one corner of the bar area. We could hear him during our dinner but it was not at all distracting (and he was quite good). We were greeted by one of the hosts (who I now believe may be one of the owners). We were welcomed and escorted to a table in the dining room right behind the bar area. From what I could determine, there were at least two other dining areas and an outside dining area (for dining during the nicer weather). Our server quickly came to welcome us, ask if we had questions about the menu / specials and to take our drink order. She was attentive, pleasant and was able to quickly and accurately answer questions that we had (we have some dietary restrictions and needed to verify some ingredients. She knew immediately what we could order to dine safely. We started our order with the Chiccharon appetizer. I had anticipated that the item would be traditional crispy Chiccaron. Instead the dish was more of a pork belly in a broth. We actually enjoyed that much more! It was plentiful, cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dinner my wife and our friend ordered the sea bass special. They both thought it was plentiful, perfectly prepared and tasted great. I ordered the pork chop with spicy cherry peppers in a light evoo broth. I told our server that I wasn't eating potatoes or rice and asked for a recommendation for a substitute. She recommended the broccolini which was a perfect alternative. My pork chop was served perfectly (medium, juicy,) and was huge! We passed on dessert but the options looked amazing. I haven't even gotten to the setting. Little Fish is very close to the Long Island Sound, near Kenny's beach, so there are some nice views at some tables. I note that we were there last for dinner in early May, so no outside seating yet. That will be an added feature. I would also consider stopping in here for a cocktail at the bar. Lots of parking, unique decor, with a friendly staff. We ordered a few Filipino dishes like sisig, chicken inasal, fried lumpia, and regular stuff like fried mushrooms and disco fries. Everything was wonderful and tasted great. The new place definitely has growing pains, sometimes apps came out with the entrees, silverware and plates came after the courses, took a while for our bill to come, but these are little things that will be taken care of once they have a proper waitstaff. We're definitely going to be back.
