Taco party platter, this was soooo good!
    Bill S.

"Went to a Taco Party.. to reminisce with my old friends" My wife & I are out east and want a nice lunch. I tell her I know a place but don't tell her details. Once we walk inside, the wall chalkboard has their breakfast menu written out but we're here for lunch. I grab a menu and show her the lunch menu. I suggest the "Taco Party" which is one of each taco Lucia offers which is 7 in total. We also ordered 2 beef empanadas. The Fish taco was the top favorite. Filled with fresh fish, it had a delicate fry on the skin. The Shrimp Taco also had a great blackened, deep flavor. I must point out, the taco party has all of the different sauces and toppings on the side so you create your tacos to your liking. My wife doesn't like tacos that are too heavy on the onion. You're able to season your taco to your personal taste. The empanadas are probably the best I had this year. Our choice was ground beef and they were packed with empanada love. There's limited seating in place for social distancing. We sat at a small table but the window table they have in place is beautiful. So Taco Party with a bottle of Horchata = heaven. Lucia, we loved our tacos!

If you ever find yourself in the North Fork area, this is your spot for tasty and authentic Salvadoran fare! Truly a hidden gem. Prices have been raised, as noted by other Yelpers, but I still found them to be quite modest for the portion and quality of food. The restaurant was nicely decorated with some paintings. The woman working at the counter was friendly as well. Feeling hungry for lunch, my mom and I ordered a pupusa with beans, cheese, and pork along with a chicken empanada (the empanada order comes with 2). All of the food tasted homemade and very delicious. The pupusa had the right amounts of filling. The empanadas had a crispy exterior and a nice cheese pull as you bit into them. The chicken was also very juicy and tender. Note that the pupusa included with beans, cheese, and pork comes out cheaper than the pupusa included with just cheese and pork... Go figure! The only downside is that they don't offer dessert, but I'll definitely return next time to try more items on their menu... including their tacos! Highly recommend.

Shrimp fajita came out in a bowl kind of like a soup with rice, beans and tortilla on the side. It was so good, spiced perfectly. Also tried the cheese and Loroco pupusa 10/10! Staff was super friendly. Excited to go back and try some more!!

OH WOW! I didn't think this area would have any good Spanish food lol. This Salvadorian food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! All made fresh, juicy, amazingly seasoned. We only come to the area once a year and this is going to be our go to spot for now on.

I wanted some tacos before the winery (don't judge). This place is simply amazing. The food was well cooked and well portioned. Kicks Mattitaco's butt!!! At the end, the counter woman was so happy that we loved our meal that she gave us a bag of all their sauces on the house. I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Don't let my 3 star rating discourage you, it's a strong 3, I've just been doing more reviews & trying to raise my own standards but this is definitely a good restaurant. Why didn't it get more stars you ask? Well it's good but doesn't blow you away. If you're looking for Salvadorian food it hits the mark. My pupusas was a little soggy on the bottom & on the Yelp pics the wings looked grilled but mine were deep fried & breaded. All in all its pretty darn good. I've had the taco party dish before & that's a mountain of food. Which brings me to portion size... generous. So if you're on the North Fork want some good eats without breaking the bank this is a quaint little stop.

So sorry to write this but they charge a "a 20% service charge" for a party of 3 and they don't tell you this and I left cash on the table 10 dollars to be exact so in total I left 24 dollars for a 55 dollar bill. I saw my receipt and notice it when I got home. They should post it somewhere or in the menu. Probably not coming back.

Hands down the BEST tacos in mattituck. (Yes, better than the other 2 restaurants you're thinking of...), and way more affordable. The papusas (which are huge), empanadas and quesadillas are also amazing! I will definitely be back to try their breakfast menu, and lunch specials.

If you want an amazing meal at an affordable price, come to Lucia. This small family owned business has a wide variety of tacos, empanadas, and papusas. The seafood soup (available on Sundays) is chock full of fish, shrimp, and some lobster and mussels. The Central American hot drink Atol de Elote is like a corn chowder in a coffee cup for $3. A taco plate is $8. The house made corn tortillas are superb. Location is on busy main road, but there is parking in back. Don't be fooled by what looks like an empty entryway--you pass inside to the dining area.

Carne asada taco (one of 3!) and half a carne asada quesadilla. Prepared wonderfully & so tasty!!

Soooo yummy & fresh!! My son, husband, and I stopped by to pick up something for lunch. We all got something with carne asada (steak) so I can't comment on the fish or the chicken, etc, sorry, lol. But the carne asada was DELISH: quality meat, well marinated, perfectly sizzled. I got the soft tacos & it was so much food -- too much to finish. My son got the quesadilla, he is NOT a fan of Central American flavors but he raved about how good this quesadilla was and he, too, had enough to save some for later. My husband got a burrito and he was busy eating the whole thing but he looked really happy. I think this will become one of our go-to spots. I'm so glad we tried it!

Veggie tacos - they come with cheese so if you're vegan ask without cheese!

Unfortunately, the prices have gone up in the last couple of years, but they have the best plátanos around!

They're served with a cabbage slaw, tomato sauce and some spicy pickled jalapeños and carrots. The slaw gives it a nice crunch and the tomato sauce is nice and sweet to counter the saltiness of the cheese. My favorite is probably the loroco, which reminds me of broccoli and cheese but different. The corn dough outside is nicely charred but soft on the inside. It's not dry at all, even with the chicken filling. I paid 6 bucks for all of that. I probably will definitely order take out again. It was very fast and the girl spoke fluent English. The prices on the steak plates seem reasonable so I may try that the next time. The decor is sort of sad but the food is bomb.

These are usually the best places. The place looks ruined down, but don't let it detract you. This place is good. The order was a typical carne asarda platter with a salad rice refried beans. I have to tell you it was delicious and for 9 bucks it could feed two, but I found myself eating the entire plate. Top it off with a nice passion fruit fresh juice and this was a great meal.
