Easy to learn! I knew nothing about succulents, but their expertise helped me assemble this beauty
    Jack H.

I have done wine and paints before, and those are fun. However, the Succulent Scene blows that experience out of the water! It is different from a regular date night of dinner, movies, bowling, etc. You learn a lot about the different succulents in this world, the origins of certain plants, and how to maintain your new desk decoration. With Joelle and Hope's help, I was able to assemble a very nice terrarium. At first, I did not know what I was doing; I was just dumping sand here and there, adding in plants and rocks. I didn't know where I was going with my design. Joelle gives great feedback and advice, so she helped me rearrange my rocks and succulents, and gave me a path of what I wanted. Meanwhile, Hope is in the background giving facts and telling us about succulents and how to care for them. They are a great duo and have something special w/ the Succulent Scene. This is a great date night event for you and your partner, or it is a great time for a group of coworkers, guys/girls celebrating a birthday, or an ice breaking event for a new group. Thank you guys!

Our company had a team bonding activity with the Succulent Scene and everyone had such a great time! Everyone loved their succulent terrariums and our instructors were so nice! Can't wait to hire them for another Plant Party!

The Succulent Scene was such a hit at my bridal shower! I can't thank them enough for making this process so easy and fun. They took care of everything from the supplies, instructions, and clean up. Hope and Joelle were such great instructors and went through all the steps at a great pace with my big group. So many different rocks, succulents, and more to choose from- endless possibilities so you can make a new terrarium every single time. Can't wait to book my next party!!!

The company hosted The Succulent Scene as a team bonding event. They set everything up with an array of colorful sands, a variety of succulents, and pretty rocks. The two boss ladies (Hope and Joelle) are phenomenal! They explained the steps at a pace where everyone was able to keep up. Very informative as well when it came to taking care of the succulents. Glad I experienced this Everyone had a good time The succulents came out beautifully Thank you Hope and Joelle Really fun with a lot of people Amazing sets of colors and patterns Loved being creative with it Let my mind go wild creating it I would recommend it

Love my succulent arrangement! Perfect addition to any room!

I have always loved plants but found it hard to take care of them. I absolutely loved booking an event with The Succulent Scene because not only did they provide us with all the materials to make beautiful looking succulent displays, but Hope and Joelle were so helpful with tips on how to keep your succulent friends alive and well! The girls were extremely friendly and the entire event was so well organized! I would highly recommend them for an event, whether it be a birthday party or even a work bonding event!

This company is amazing! I went to Bardot, a local coffee shop, and this company run by two super kind and sweet girls, were hosting a succulent event right outside the coffee shop. They had a whole assembly line of tables set up where you can build your own succulent! You start off picking an glass orb, wine class, or geometric terrarium. Then you get to choose from a variety of cute little succulents to put in your terrarium. Then you pick which colored sand you want as well as which kind of rocks and crystals you want to put in as well. Joelle and hope are there with you every step of the way to give any advice or any helping putting it together. It was so great being able to customize exactly what succulent arrangement I wanted and now it's sitting at work on my desk! They're so easy to take care of and make the perfect accessory!

I have never done succulents in my life!-- I must say, it was an AMAZING first experience!! I highly recommend Joelle and Hope they were extremely helpful through out the entire process. Super friendly as well which is a huge plus for me. Everything was very well put together. I will definitely be doing this again soon! :)

The Succulent Scene was a team bonding event hosted my company and we had an amazing time. They brought all the supplies to us and gave us step by step instructions on how to make the best terrariums! I'm not particularly artistic/creative but I'm very proud of the way my terrarium turned out! Would definitely do this again for a birthday party or girls night out!

Let me start off this review by saying I never expected myself to be a succulent guy. But boy was I wrong! We hired the Succulent Scene for a corporate bonding event and it was one of the most fun and interactive events we have had thus far. Hope and Joelle were so inviting and informative when it came to putting Herbert (my new succulent friend) together. Their spunk made this old guy feel young again! They also had a gentleman, I think his name was Kurol (sorry!). Wow, walking good vibes. All in all a great experience, would recommend to anyone for parties or events. Succulent Samurai out!

the succulent scene was hosted by my company for a team bonding event. I liked the way they explained a little about succulents and their companies history. They were extremely relatable and answered all questions I had. I was a little hesitant at first since I dont know the first thing about terrariums but I had a great time with my coworkers and made an awesome plant!

We followed up to see what wedding planning packages she had and safe to say this was the best decision made. Eliza, Tammy + Team provided the full service for our wedding. We hired them for planning, design, coordination, rentals, and florals and it made life so much easier. I had the best experience with Eliza and team with our weekly meetings for a few months to align on all the details. She understand and appreciated our mixed cultural background and how we wanted to incorporate elements of this for a Persian and Vietnamese wedding. I have always heard wedding planning to be stressful but safe to say my experience was the best and the day of the wedding went beautifully. Nothing ever goes to plan and I'm really happy Eliza and her team are experienced enough to adjust to last minutes changes such as guest no shows, etc. She captured our vision perfectly and I'm already thinking of future events I would plan with Bel Events again!

Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

The setup of the class and activities has been rearranged almost every week which makes it feel like a different gym each time. There are also open gyms included in the membership where your little one can have free play. All of the parents/caregivers were very friendly, seems like a great community. The structure of the class so far has been: a little free play, circle time with songs and warm up exercises, learning to do a new "gymnastic exercise" with your little one and trying it a couple times, free play while they set up a fun activity that each child gets one turn to do, they set up swings (enough for most), maybe one more setup activity, books laid out for story time, then a goodbye song. Considering everything that is included in the membership, I think it is a great value. I canceled my membership after a month because my son got sick twice in 3 weeks, but there is a minimum 2 months you must pay. I was told they had a strict sick policy which is why I joined, but unfortunately they do not enforce it as we saw a ton of sick kids and parents each open gym and class. This may be fine for many, but just not for us since my son is not in school yet and had only been sick 2-3x in his life before this. They do a great job of keeping the location clean, and sanitize after each open gym and class, but not as beneficial if many kids in the class are sick. I may try the class another year when getting sick frequently isn't as big of a deal for us.

The day the event, the crew reached out and let me know they were setting up along with texting me a location pin. The Picnic Collective went above and beyond with the details. The flowers were beautiful, the grazing boards were delicious, everything was absolutely beautiful! I purchased the sandwiches for each guest and they were yummy.
