As a girl who makes charcuterie boards, I loved her work and business model! However, she does not respond to emails at all. I showed serious interest and filled out an inquiry form on her website. She responded one time just saying that I need to pay 50% in order to book a date. I communicated that that totally worked for us, we just had to wait a bit to pay the deposit. She never responded. Since being ready to make the deposit, I've followed up a couple times, and she has completely ghosted me. I just don't really understand why she never took my inquiry seriously? As a business, why would you willingly lose a client who wants to pay you $2.5k? I ended up going with another table grazing artist who was very kind on email and responsive.
