Please think twice before hiring this company. I hired this company well in advance (December 1st, 2020)and chose one of the paintings they had on display (baby yoda) from a previous party on their Instagram account . Then few days after I email Roni (the owner) asking her if they can do a painting with the mandalorian and baby yoda together and she told me to send her few examples, I did! then she told me to choose which one I wanted. So I did! She added an extra $50.00 more (that was no a problem) because it was two characters and not one. A week before the party (party was on December 30th, 2020) she called me and came up with the story that they weren't able to do any Disney characters (she previously did one baby yoda painting and posted on instagram) because Disney can sue them if one of their Competitors accuse them with Disney and that her attorney recommend her not do it.  THEY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW WHAT DRAWINGS CAN OR CANNOT PAINT. So I had to pick another painting from the website Gallery  even though I hired them because they did a baby yoda previously and that was exactly the theme of my son's birthday party.  The night before the party (December 29,2020 At 7:40pm)  they sent me a text message that the artist who was going to come to do the event was exposed to COVID during Christmas and that they did not have  anyone  else to come and do the event.  they suggested to do it via zoom. I told them no, it was impossible to do that at the last minute.  They told me to give them a few hours to see what they can do.   Then they called me back that they had found someone to come.  Roni's assistant (Roni is the owner) was going to be the one coming to do the event.  OK I was relieved because they found a solution. December 30th, 2020 the day of the party... The assistant supposed to be at the location at 1:30. That was the time agreed with the owner.  Around 10:30 am the assistant called me to verify the time. So I told her be there at 1:30 to have plenty of time to set up and start at 2:00 Pm.  Time passed and the assistant called at 1:40 pm and said he was going to be 15 minutes.  After I hanged up with her, I called the owner Roni.  I told her how disappointed I was for the person not being on time, then Roni's husband started talking (I guessed I was on speaker) and he said the assistant was doing me a last minute favor by coming to do the event. That I should be considered of her that she was coming to the party as a last minute favor to me and to them. That she was late because she had to pick up their car, and traffic and all kind of BS. Nothing of that matters. It wasn't last minute. It was arranged the night before by them.  She wasn't doing me a favor, I was paying for a service. The assistant was not even a professional artist.  This company has no idea of ​​giving good customer service.  I was so closed to cancel on them but I had the kids already waiting for a long time and had no back up plan.  She got there at 2:05. By 2:19 the kids were still waiting.   My husband and I had to help her to accommodate and set up everything to try to get things started quickly.   The assistant started painting the nutcracker on her canvas and she barely talk to the kids.  For a moment she just sat down and just painted her canvas without saying anything.  Luckily there was the finished example of the nutcracker on display.    I could easily have done the event myself without having to hire this company. I definitely regret hiring these people. I REGRET THE $300.00 DOLLARS AND TIP  I gave to this company. I paid as their contract said  " Full invoice is due upon arrival of the artist, prior to your party's start TIME".  They don't deserve not even one star. They don't care about anything other than doing business. Please try to find another company for your event before you go with this COMPANY. Below I am adding the painting that the assistant did (small canvas). I could easily do it myself if I am trying to copy the example (big canvas.) EDIT: in response to Roni's comment, the artist didn't cancel hours before the party. I got a text from Rony on December 29th at 7:40 pm telling me about the covid situation. Below everyone can see in the attached photos the text messages and times and dates. In addition to that there are all the emails with dates and times so everyone can see that baby yoda was a go because they have done it before and also a mandalorian was a go for an additional charge. I don't have proof of phone conversation but nothing I can do. Just showing what I have. She is altering the facts! read more

It was very very easy to book and paid through invoice, they also have Venmo, or Zelle which is convenient too. They sent out a young man Randall on the day of the event as the Paint Instructor, he was efficient and went above and beyond to set up the easels and paint supplies with the horrible heat temperature outside. Our church had our annual picnic and we hired their company to do face paint. the lady who came to our event was very professional. She arrived like almost 20 mins before the time we agreed with and she didn't mind starting early we even offer her to eat first since it was still early but she refused it kindly. Everyone loved the work she did (kids and parents) she was very patient with everyone most specially the little ones and didn't mind to do retouch to some of the kids. Even some parents requested a face paint of a filipino super hero character though she got no idea who those character was she willingly did it. I hired this company for a kid's paint party. The expert showed up in pajama pants and was visibly irritated with the kids the entire time -- making passive aggressive comments and rolling her eyes to 5-7 year olds. It was extremely embarrassing being asked by other parents who this artist is and where I hired her from. To top it all off, we noticed our "professional artist" was drinking our alcoholic beverages the entire event. Lastly, I never got my $100 deposit back. When I asked about it following the event, I was refunded $46. I kindly notified the business that they were $54 short, in which I was sent a series of extremely rude text messages followed by a phone call from a disgruntled female who did not let me say a single word. You would really hope that a "business owner" would do the right thing, especially over $54. And even more-so, when she knows that her customer has had such a negative experience. I do not leave negative yelp reviews -- I 100% believe in having conversations and giving business owners a second chance to do the right thing. But unfortunately for this woman, she made the mistake of not even allowing her customer the chance to speak on our "phone call" and did not choose her battles very wisely today. Even though they are housed in Orange County, Roni was willing to come to Long Beach and worked with us in finding a restaurant to host our party!! She had everything set up for the party when we got there, was organized, and so sweet. She gave us extra time individually to help with each of our paintings to ensure we were happy and also that we were having a good time.
