Came for a birthday party of 14 folks. ENTRANCE - the pub is a bit challenging to find unless u know where it is. This is because the entrance is to the golf course. PARKING - not an issue as it is ample but few spots close to the restaurant. But the walk isn't awful. AMBIANCE - very rustic and pub looking. Nice long bar. Plus tables on a balcony that are nice. MENU - typical pub and grub. No gluten-free options for those where this matters. Standard appetizer selections. Lots of sandwich choices. Limited entree choices but it covers steak, chicken, pasta, and salmon for fish. Menu prices slightly higher than average. APPETIZERS - we shared a few. Wings were a positive but sticky. The potatoes Au groton fair at best. I didn't try the nachos as they looked very oily. ENTREES - I can only rate my steak. I ordered medium rare and it came very well done. Plus I noticed that others were served the wrong meals so the plates were shuffled around. Not good. Plus the timing was awful, between the first things out of the kitchen and the last at least 15 minutes. SERVICE - our waiter, who by the way was the only one for 14 people was doing the best he could. He was nice but could benefit from being more congenial if he wants better tips. Clearly he was new, young, and inexperienced. VINO - I had the house Cabernet that was lower quality than the average that you encounter. But I am a snob so take this with a grain of salt. PRICES - again I was not the host so never saw the bill but from the menu $$$ would be appropriate for this local.

Just passing through on our way home over the holidays, this quaint restaurant overlooking a golf course was warm and inviting. We were able to sit on the enclosed patio and have a pretty view of the golf course! The menu had many options and there was even a specials menu. I ordered the gnocchi and it was delicious. My husband had a burger and he said it was good. The waiter was quick and our food was out before we knew it. We would definitely consider stopping in next time we drive through.

I am so disappointed and disgusted by how I just spend 71 dollars on two orders of pizza and wings. The wings was so hard and over cook and taste like there where two days old. The pizza was burned and the cheese tasted weird. Call up and told them about this and got a reorder of wings. This is terrible you not suppose to have horrible pizza and wings.

Three of us went on Sunday. My husband was giving them both his thumbs up for the burger recommended by the waitress. My Tuna patty was sooo good with so many nacho chips around it. I never liked nacho but I love the patty buried in it. The steak was overcooked but the chef was kind enough to redo one for us. We shall come back without a doubt.

Strawberry shortcake. Pleasantly light and not too sweet.

Staff is always friendly and food is served quickly. Menu is varied and works for pre- theater dining.

Not a bad experience after golf, food was okay. Poutine and Greek salad was good, wouldn't recommend the pizza.

Not bad, although I wish the pizza had more dough it seemed thinned crust, not my preference. The turkey was definitely worth it.

We got there and sat down immediately. Service was nothing special, but the waiter was pleasant. I ordered the lunch special smash burger, which was very tasty. I also ordered the calamari, which was slightly salty but had great flavor. The pizza was very good as well, but when it came to the dessert (cheesecake and chocolate gelato), they weren't that good and left a bad aftertaste. We asked our waiter if it could be taken off the menu, so he went to get the manager. The manager came to the table and explained why we should like the desserts and that no one complains since the chefs are from Brooklyn and the cheesecake is made in-house. He was very reluctant to take these items off the menu. Everyone has different palates, so why are you talking as if I'm supposed to like it since everyone else does? This didn't sit well with me, and the vibe was off from there. We liked the food, but it wasn't worth the hype around it. Our waiter was still pleasant through it all.

Then someone who was sitting at the bar came to give us menus and said to sit anywhere. We finally sat and a waitress named Gabby came took our orders. I ordered a Steak salad no mushrooms sweet potato fries and the person I was with got a hot oil pizza. Pretty easy. Well waitress brought out the pizza and I waited and waited and waited, no salad no fries. I asked the waitress where my salad was she said she was going to check on it, never happened she then went to tables and started to take orders. I was getting frustrated and my friends pizza was now cold as she was waiting for me. After waiting for about 10 mins I went to the bar and explained to the bartender and she went to check and came out with my food. Not once did the waitress come to check on us. My salad was suppose to have tomatoes which it did not. I flagged down the waitress and asked her and she said she would bring some right out once again I waited and waited by that time my friends pizza was soggy and she said it didn't even taste that great. As I waiting I was eating the sweet potato fries and ate some of the salad but it was literally just lettuce, onion, Gorgonzola and steak, I wanted those tomatoes. I asked her yet again and she said she would get them then attended to other tables so I just started to eat my salad. I was finished had my salad plate empty at the end of the table then FINALLY a gentleman brought out a plate of tomatoes I told him I didn't need them and I finished my food and he replied "she just told me" I told him I asked her for them 20 minutes ago. Very disappointed I did speak to the bartender and leave some feedback not sure if it made its way to whoever but I appreciate her helping

When walking inside of the establishment, it was relatively quiet. The individual up front greeted us and informed us that there was a menu on the counter which we appreciated. There is a large menu to order from, but we decided to order the Chopped Cheese and Fries. The Chopped Cheese was good. The beef is fresh, juicy, and tender. When combined with the rest of the ingredients it makes a great combination. The fries were salted well and had a slight crunch with each bite. I became full off of one half of the Chopped Cheese. I do not normally become full from eating out, but this was one of the rare occasions where I did and I am thankful for it. Overall, I enjoyed eating here. I became full from the food I ordered, the individual up front was nice and respectful, and I left feeling satisfied. I definitely recommend coming to this location and trying their food options.

When I walked in, the place was packed--which I initially took as a good sign. Busy usually means good food and good service. I was seated at a small two-top in the back blocking the counter seating, which was already tight for a meeting with paperwork. As the lunch crowd began to clear out, the table next to me opened up. I started to move my materials to give us a bit more space for the meeting. At that point, a waitress approached me in a very abrupt and unpleasant tone and said, "Where do you think you're going?" I explained that the table had just become available and that I needed the space for a business meeting. She immediately shut me down, saying, "No, you're not. That's a four-person table and you're only two." It was around 2:00 p.m., the restaurant was already emptying out, and they close at 3:00 p.m., so the response felt unnecessary and frankly rude. I told her she didn't need to be so nasty--I had no idea there were strict rules about not moving to an empty table in a nearly empty restaurant. I stayed where I was because the only other available tables were even more cramped for 2 people, and at least I had space to set my pocketbook and paperwork on a stool next to me instead of the floor. Unfortunately, the experience got worse. When my client arrived, 215pm, we were largely ignored for service even though the restaurant was nearly empty at that point. Food was basic. My takeaway: unless you enjoy being packed into tight seating, dealing with extremely unprofessional and unfriendly staff, struggling to get service, I would not recommend this place. Hospitality and courtesy go a long way, and sadly both were missing here. And one final thought: in the service industry, you never know who your customers are or what opportunities kindness might bring. Do better! 65+ MILLION FOLLOWERS on the internet!
