I have stayed at the Starry Night Inn five times over the last several years. The rooms are very detailed and extremely unique. The amenities are generous and very thoughtful of unforeseen needs. The art is lovely and the 24 hour snacks are so genuine and thoughtful. I have never thought of a single complaint every time I have stayed here. I have been a massage therapist for 18 years and I must say the self-serve Spa is an absolute must. It is a couple hundred yards from the beach and walkable to everything in Seaside. Book through their website and not on Airbnb. This is an absolute must for anyone who loves the Oregon coast and who wants a taste of our true personality. read more

Cute little bed and breakfast. They have rooms in the lodge, cabins and rooms across the street. There are a few outdoor areas with grills, fire pits and seating. I enjoyed sitting on the porch. They have lots of art and cute items for sale. There's snacks, beverages and some breakfast items available in the lobby. My room was cute and comfortable but really warm (it faced the sun most of the day). I think there's air-conditioning in some of the other spaces and I imagine it doesn't get that warm but I happened to be there when it was. I didn't want to soak at their outdoor spa but I bet it's nice when it's not hot outside. I would come back and make sure to not stay in that room when it's warm out. This is literally the cutest little bed-and-breakfast in Seaside. They accommodated my family and brought in an air mattress for my kids. And it's like a little studio apartment. It is the sweetest little place and the staff are amazing! I can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. It is extremely clean and cozy. Update to my 1st review: There was some miscommunication that happened and some things were not understood or made clear and talked with the owner and cleared things up, got things explained. I sincerely apologize for my review to owner and whoever else I may have upset. It was never my intention to hurt anyone or upset anyone. I'm really not sure why I got the the feelings I did there just came on strong. Sometimes certain I places get feelings or if I am empathic I'm really not sure what caused it but felt even uneasy feelings when I 1st walked thru the front door. Similar what happened to me at painted lady house in Port Gamble, where I got physically naueous in one of the rooms that I had to leave the room and wasn't sick all day. I sincerely apologize to any investigators I may have disturbed in the investigation or anyone in the paranormal community. When the feelings of heaviness, or air so heavy like I couldn't breathe upstairs I didn't know how to react and nothing has happened to me like that before and I just know how it felt to me and with health conditions makes things challenging. I really thought I could get thru the investigation but unfornately didn't happen. The owner was very nice with drinks, chatting and snacks and appreciated her kindness and hospitality. Again I sincerely apologize to anyone and everyone I may have upset by my 1st review. Please don't let my negative review discourage you from staying at Starry night in its really a nice charming place with a very nice delightful owner. I stayed in Cabin 1 and it was very cozy (I loved the gas fireplace). I loved the DIY feel of the place, and appreciated the privacy. (My guest and I didn't go in the main house at all, so I can only speak to the Cabin). We also decided, last minute, to indulge in the spa and I have to say it is well worth the price. Sauna, massage chair, and bathing under the night sky? It was a unique and relaxing experience. If you're thinking about doing it- you should! Get the bath bombs, too. Completely worth it. A perfect stay!! Great for a couple. We stayed in Cabin 2 and it was lovely!! Super clean, various beautiful art pieces, and a kitchenette with all you might need. There's the comfiest bed and a cozy gas fireplace. 24/7 complimentary snacks and drinks in the room and in the house!! The location is perfect, you can walk to pretty much everything. Super quiet-except for the occasional seagull :). Several separate sitting areas/tables on the property and inside. We only stayed one night but wanted to stay longer! We hope to try out the spa and stay in one of the rooms in the house next time! read more

I found this place on Yelp we were looking something budget friendly. We are so glad we are frugal and we found this place. We have experienced other hotels that are 3 to 5 stars here in seaside but this little place is a thousand stars. It is like going to your parents home to stay for the weekend. The place is clean the staff lady is very friendly we even chat with the other guests. The breakfast smells are calling me now. I was pleasantly surprised staying here. I am so thankful that I was able to book a room so accommodating to my needs and close to the beach! I stayed in room 4 - very comfortable queen bed, cute couch, good sized windows bringing in lots of natural light, and a connected bathroom. It is nicely decorated with spunk and bright colors as well as cool art on the walls available for purchase! I thought that was a great idea. Especially amid social distancing, it was very convenient to have my own bathroom. There were instructions on how to make the stay even more safe amid this time which was good to see. Light snack options offered in the kitchen. A quick 10min walk to the beach! My only negative is that the WiFi was very poor - when connected it wouldn't actually work and I ended up having to stop using it. That is fine for vacation, it's good to disconnect, but it would have been nice to use WiFi when looking for takeout options, hiking in the area, and messaging family. Overall this is a fantastic lodging option and I would highly recommend it! read more

Just got back from a lovely 3-day stay at the Starry Night and I look forward to my next trip there. The innkeepers are warm and wonderful and add lots of extras to your stay to make you feel cozy and cared for! A wide and thoughtful variety of teas and snacks were in my room and there were drinks as well as great options for breakfast in the hotel lobby. We had elderflower margaritas and made our own perfumes to take home. Also, the art and decor! Every time I come here I am inspired to do something to cozy up my own house, and I love that you can buy the art you admire to take something of the place home with you. Love it! read more

My friends and I had a girl's weekend in Seaside last month. We rented out the entire Starry Night Inn and we couldn't have been more pleased. There are three rooms in the beautiful, art filled house and three cabins, which was the perfect size for our group. I stayed in a cabin and loved it. We punched in a code to enter our cabin, so we never had to worry about having a key. I loved that. The room had everything I needed with a nicely stocked kitchenette. Besides having a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot (and nice coffee!) there were all the small practical things we needed (cocktail shaker!). The room was beautifully decorated with fireplace, record player, and original artwork from Oregon artists. I most loved the house made beauty products. Besides being making me feel at home, it was nice knowing I didn't have to deal with weird chemicals. I loved the shampoo. My hair smelled amazing and felt great. Our group had so much fun in the common living areas of the house. There is a full kitchen with everything one could possibly need (they even had a dedicated GF toaster!) and a lovely dining room with self-serve coffee and oatmeal. The location is really great and with everything we needed was just a few blocks away. After being on the beach and touring the sights, we made a communal dinner and sang karaoke all night long. The living room is a musician's playground with a variety of instruments and microphones available to play. The furniture is elegant, yet cozy and we felt right at home. Our host and co-owner of the Starry Night Inn was fabulous. So friendly and helpful. She was quick to suggest the nearest coffee shop, where to get the best margaritas in town (Las Olas - go there!), and answered all of our questions with sincere kindness. The artwork throughout was definitely a highlight for me and I even bought a piece to take home as a souvenir of an incredible weekend. I can't recommend the Starry Night Inn high enough. Jen and Ana have created a warm, inviting, beautifully decorated (there's tons of work featuring local artists, also for sale) inn right in the heart of Seaside. There are several cute and comfy hangout spaces (including a separate out building with a sauna, yoga mats, couches, etc) inside and out plus complimentary beer, wine, and snacks for guests. Guest rooms are lovely with really comfortable beds. Now we just need to come up w another excuse to get out to Seaside so we can stay again. Highly recommend!! read more

So cozy! Coming down from Washington for a little birthday adventure and this place feels right at home. Individual Cabins come with a Living area, Kitchen, Dining area, TV with Roku and a queen sized bed. Amenities include a sauna, a living area in the victorian house and a porch to sit on. Update: We returned to the Starry Night Inn to celebrate a birthday with a gaggle of teenage girls- it was perfect! We rented the 3 rooms in the big house, giving us full access to the kitchen, karaoke set-up in the living room, converted garage space with the sauna and lounging area (which the girls promptly took over as a clubhouse of sorts). The hosts do an incredible job of catering to all of your needs- simple comforts abound (carafes of water and fresh flowers in each room, freshly baked muffins to nibble on, homemade natural toiletries in the bathrooms, little bowls of chocolates always within reach (thank you for the refills...we noticed and were appreciative!). We also appreciated the lax hours for noise tolerance (suggesting a midnight cut-off time for karaoke knowing your sleeping quarters shared an adjoining wall was exceedingly generous...much gratitude!). By far my favorite choice for a coastal getaway- I'm already making plans to return for a little more adult R&R... read more

This truly is a magical place to stay especially to recharge. Yes they have wifi but not tv. Plenty of outlets too. But the charm is all around from its location to itself. It is artsy, quirky charm is welcoming as the Victorian has a lot to offer if you want a B&B, but I stayed in Cabin 3. Loved Cabin 3 as it had all I needed with special touches. Homemade shampoo/soap, conditioner, and hand soap the owner made herself. All the touches in the room made it feel like a place you'd live in rather than as a visit. The fireplace was amazing to have and use (thank you!) with the sitting area to chill. A nice table to work or eat while enjoying the kitchenette. The kitchenette had what I needed with utensils, mugs, glasses, plates, and knives then the microwave and good sized refrigerator. I love a good cup of tea and the hot pot was amazing (simple pleasure). Lots of tea bags to choose from and coffee grinds (& machine). As the Inn is so centrally located to walk wherever you'd like for Seaside. If you want food, Phannie Plats is literally across the street! Then cut through the alley drive where Dough Dough is across the street with the Book Store! Look to your left without crossing the street and the Rock Shop is there. Couldn't be easier to then see Broadway and just walk down to more of touristy Seaside and everything else. To me this was the perfect place to stay in Seaside. read more

The entire time I was at the Starry Night Inn I was overwhelmingly impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful and has amazing artful touches that make the stay feel very unique. The room was spacious, well designed and extremely comfortable. Every detail was taken care of before I could think of it; quite fan in the room, mini fridge with water, chocolates by the bed and ear plugs in the drawer. I was surprised and impressed with the level of detail paid to every aspect of my stay, such as the complementary beer and wine as well as the delicious and easy breakfast options the next morning. If you go make sure to take a trip to the spa where my partner and I enjoyed soaking in the private outdoor tubs to the smell of Ana's homemade CBD infused bath bombs, followed up by warming in the sauna before heading into the cool coastal air. Absolutely a steal for the experience and the comfort this hotel had to offer, will be recommending to friends and family. Just don't tell too many people ;). read more

We love staying here! The place is lovely, welcoming, comfortable, very relaxing, well-located, and the amenities are fabulous. We've enjoyed both staying in a room at the inn and in a cabin. Amazing location, quaint, cool and cozy... this place was awe inspiring. We got so many great decor ideas and the place is just well thought out and charning. from top to bottom the Victorian and all the little cabins have been lovingly restored and stylishly accented. there are fabulous personal touches everywhere. We loved the easy fireplace and the communal kitchen and lobby gallery in the main Victorian house. The artwork is diverse and interesting and highlights local flavor from Northwest artists. the cabin space is spotlessly clean and cozy, all the essentials and then some are available at your disposal. we didn't get a chance to enjoy the sauna but it's such an interesting feature to the overall experience... Next time we will stay longer than a day to enjoy that. We did get to belt out a few tunes on the karaoke system with sweet co-owner and proprietress Jen who makes herself available as needed for any local recommendations or just a friendly face to chat with. I stayed in Cabin #3, and enjoyed the cozy fireplace and being 4 short blocks from the beach. There is incredible art by local (greater Portland area) artists displayed throughout the entire Inn. Also, great restaurants, coffee, and bars within walking distance. Tora sushi is amazing and just a short three block walk from your room. What?!? The Starry Night Inn is a great place to park your car, unplug from the outside world, and recharge your spirit. I can't wait to go back! read more

This is a great little space! It is a cute, clean, stylish place in an ideal neighborhood. My family of 3 stayed there and there was plenty of space. It was self check-in and out and completely hassle free. It is on a quieter street, but only a five minute walk from the main street with all of its shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again when in Seaside. read more

Great place, possibly the best place to stay in Seaside! We enjoyed a clean room and nice decor in the lovely Victorian home. There were a lot of nice touches like the water and glasses in the room, and the coffee/tea/croissants in the morning. Compared to other places (motels, budget hotels) available in Seaside, I would definitely recommend the Starry Night Inn as a much better alternative while still being affordable. I suggest that anybody who reads this avoids this place like the plague it looked really cute online I had planned a small vacation for me and my boyfriend in July on July 11th my father came down with covid and was hospitalized it was very stressful for me and my family he almost died and so therefore I had forgotten about our reservation I realized on Saturday and I texted them to cancel. And in return, they tried to keep $400 from me had absolutely no compassion for my situation they were rude and obnoxious. including the owner they made me feel horrible and they put me in a financial bind by trying to take $400 from me on top of all the stress I went through with my father. I did end up getting a refund from booking.com thank goodness because these people know how to work with humans. It did of course make the hardship due to the fact that they held $400 from me. I recommend staying in Cannon Beach at the McBee cottages. The Mcbee cottages are wonderfull. read more

Recently spent two nights at the Starry Night Inn with my wife and WOW- completely EXCEEDED all expectations! Our room was spacious, complete with a gas fireplace, a mini kitchen, a cozy bed and a bathroom that was so clean! From the original art work for sale from local artists to the perfect handmade bath products provided these ladies did not disappoint. The inn itself is picture perfect and tastefully decorated with premium amenities available at any time. Plus it's in a perfect location too! Shops for any and all necessities are down the street and the beach is a 10 min walk away. I couldn't recommend this place more to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seaside, OR! read more
