Each piece came individually wrapped is butcher paper and labled. The order came with a container of delicious pickle spears, a ton of them, and a variety of mayo and dressing packets. The sandwiches were loaded with meat and just the right amount of shredded lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes. The staff were super nice even though they were oobviously very busy when I picked up. I'm excited to try more of their offerings. This is our new sub shop.

My most recent sandwich was the Roast beef and Vermont cheddar sub with tomatoes and lettuce, oil and vinegar. This was a 5/5! The roast beef was extremely good, tender and flavored well. The portion of meat and cheddar was perfect! The hoagie bun held up well. Would be a nice spot for lunch when the weather is good as it has outside seating.

The sub was kind of underwhelming. The bread was great, but the rest of the sub was just okay. They also need bigger plates as mine barely fit and lettuce kept falling out. There is also a big patio area which is wonderful for a warm spring day, or a cozy summer night. The menu contains unique items amongst its standard fare. We went with the "Polish bowl", the " Italian bowl" and the cheesesteak. The Polish bowl contained pirogies that would rival any church lent takeaway. Accompanying them was kielbasa, sauerkraut, bacon, with side of sour cream and butter. Large portions, delicious taste. The Italian bowl consisted of four enormous meatballs. The flavor reminded me of my mom's who was taught by her neighbor who was from Italy. So very delectable. I took two of the four home and made two meatball subs from them- again, so enormous. The Grumpy Beaver does not skimp on quantity, but maintains a very high level of quality. The cheesesteak equaled two you would receive from anywhere else. The inclusion of sirloin, Swiss cheese accompaniment, and the local Mancini bakery bread ( long roll) will stand against anything you get from Philly. This was scrumptious. For dessert we chose a Dubai torte, and a banana peanut butter pie. Both did not let us down, with the heavenly flavor exploding in each bite. Our waitress Gabby was sweet and very accommodating. We will be back, and you should try it!
