The husband and I ate here a month or so ago. The service was prompt and friendly. I always appreciate that whenever I visit a restaurant. Now the food. We both ordered the sriracha philly cheese, onion rings, and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. The sandwich was ginormous!!! Far too salty for my taste. Likely the sriracha was the culprit. The sandwich tasted more like pastrami than beef to me..poppers were ok..Onion rings were tasty but seemed like they had put them in the fryer before the oil was hot enough. They were a bit too saturated with oil. It was an ok experience. I'd like to go back sometime and try a different sandwich. I saw a few other menu options that interests me. read more

Came here over my 1 hour lunch break after reading the great reviews. Not bad, not amazing. THE GOOD: Plenty of near by parking as it is in a shopping strip. I ordered the siracha cheese steak sandwich with macaroni salad and the bacon wrapped jalapeno bites. My food came out fairly quickly. The sandwich was damn good! Macaroni salad was better than average and the jalapeno bites were delicious! No complaints about taste or quality. THE BAD: The server was pretty inattentive and there were very few tables open. Might be a sign of how popular the place is, but if you are limited on time, this might be an issue. It is pretty expensive as well. My meal was $20! My friend go a cold sandwich (which you would expect would take less time than my cooked cheese steak sandwich), but it literally came out about 15 minutes after my meal. When you're at lunch with someone, you expect to eat at the same time, right? So that was a bummer. In a nutshell, the only reason I would try this place again is because the food was actually really good. Next time I'll just come when I have time to spare. read more

Charley's, Quiznos, Jersey Mikes and Subway are not even considered competition when it comes to menu options or flavor. This place stands alone! I had the Small Original Cheese Steak with fries and my buddy had the Small Hot Pastrami with Onion Rings. We both left full and satisfied. There are plenty restaurant options near the Ontario Mills Mall, but you cannot beat the price, the quality and amount of food you get at Stackz. It was so tasteful! My second visit was even tastier! I decided to go the traditional route and got a Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. MIND BLOWN! This was seriously the tastiest and freshest tasting Turkey sandwich I've ever had in RC! The bread, the Turkey, and veggies were just made with the best ingredients and the bacon was cooked perfectly for that perfect salty crunch. Who ever made my sandwich, really cared about HOW it was made! They have a great selection of beer and cocktails and have food and drinks for the kiddos. I'm surprised by the average of 4 stars for Stackz. We were hoping to love this place, since it's down the street from our house and have been looking for another go to spot close to home. For the quality and amount of food you get, it is considerably over priced. It is not the worst place, but I was not expecting to pay $50 for average, super salty food for 2. I can't speak to their beer, which seems to be what attracts most people here. Quality, efficiency and a lack of variety in terms of food award this place 3 stars, which is by no means the worst around, but it has solidified itself as an average Bar-Eats. read more

I really, really wanted to like this place. It seemed that my staff enjoyed it for our regular monthly dining out. But for whatever reason, it just didn't do it for me. The first time I tried it, I was the last to show up and had a few sandwiches that were left over. First off, the JALAPENO POPPERS were awesome (I added a star just for that). The first sandwich I tried was the BUFFALO RANCH, which an employee chose, because he happens to make all the wrong food choices! It was heavily battered (which I loathe) and drenched in Buffalo Sauce. The other sandwich was just a salt lick. I couldn't tell you what it was, because it was just so damn salty. BUT, since staff appeared to really like the place, I gave it another shot. Second time, I for sure tried the SRIRACHA CHEESE STEAK, and for sure again it was another (or same?) salty sandwich. Not as salty as the first sandwich, but still mighty salty. The other sandwich we tried was the CHICKEN PARMESAN. It was battered to death (like the Buffalo Ranch), but felt much heavier. I had heard about this place from some people on Facebook. Because the pictures of their food looked great, I wanted to check it out. My husband and I went in for lunch on a Friday. It wasn't full, but there was a nice crowd. The decor and the vibe was good and it looked like a nice place. I ordered a small hot pastrami sandwich and my husband ordered the large sriracha cheesesteak. The flavors of the food were good, but our sandwiches came out warm and almost cool to the touch. Because of how long it took for the sandwiches to come out, we didn't want to send them back and have it take even longer. We each ordered the combo, so a drink and a potato salad was included in the order for an additional charge. We both liked the potato salad and agree that it's a very generous portion for a side. My husbands combo came with a large drink and mine came with the small drink, but the charge was the same. Not that big of a deal, but not really right either in my opinion. The service was so so. It was a bit on the slow side to be honest and they seemed like they were short handed. Now I understand that this place has only been open a short time, but you only get one chance to make a good impression. Awesome new place, great selection of sandwiches. Simple quality menu with a great beer selection. My first time there one of the owners came out and introduced himself, everyone was pleasant to deal with , I ordered a lot of food and they helped me out to the car without question. Also I know it doesn't seem like much but it really is, they have USB charging ports under the bar and they let me borrow a charging chord for the 15 min I was in there, life saving if your phone is dead. It was very tender with thin sliced beef and a good flavored au jus. It has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Cool cement countertops, USB charging for your phones, and big screens. If Apple Maps lead you to the wrong business, you're about 200 yards too far North. Go to the next strip mall South. I thought the business was closed but they did answer the phone on the third time. The person who answered the phone insisted on giving me directions by street and I don't know the area. I was asking for North-South-East-West directions. That being said, they have a great selection of local beers and good sandwiches. Would love to go back if we lived closer. A good stop before or after an Ontario Airport drop off. Only complaint is that they have almost no regular tables only high tables and bar - they do seem to have a large regular height in a small meeting room which also has a t.v. The large sandwich is really big. Too big to finish in one sitting unless you're trying for heart disease. I personally love leftovers and was impressed with the size. I ordered a turkey bacon avo (my fave) and their famous potato salad (overrated) and ate in house. I give the sandwich a "B"... not the best but still good. There was a girl clearing tables but not wiping anything down so the tables were a little dirty. It was during the lunch rush so it's forgiveable. Seems like a popular place with a lot of regulars. There is a large bar that you can sit at and where you order sammies from. Limited seating, nothing outdoor that I could see (it's 200° outside anyway) two TVs on the walls and a juke. Service was OK (got the wrong sandwich but they fixed it) atmosphere was cool and parking was limited during lunch. read more

I really really wanted to fall in love with this place. Good - they make some really good sandwiches, the casual atmosphere here is great, the kind of place you are going to want to pull up a chair and have some good food and a few beers and stay awhile. The eeehhh - service. And was not to the discredit of the ONE girl there working here tail off. Went in on a weekday for lunch and the place was a little busy, but not slammed. That poor girl at the register trying to take the orders, deliver the orders from the kitchen and keep everyone happy..... man she really tried. For now, they need to ad some servers and hopefully they do cuz this could be a really cool place to hang out. I would be very concerned about heading in on a weekend, but I will give it a shot as I am sure they add help then. Overall, worth a try, just bring a little patience.
