I ordered the Sriracha cheese steak and it was spicy, but not nose-running spicy. If you like bacon, order a side of potato salad with it. There are nice little nuggets of bacon throughout. I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally checked it out. When it comes to food in Rancho we live in a suburban wasteland... and this place doesn't change that. - This place is nice inside, clean, well put together with some TV's for catching the game etc... - The service is friendly, on top of things, and they checked in with us to make sure we were good during our meal. - The beer selection is a nice local mix featuring some very local brews that is really appreciated. All of those are dandy and worthy of racking up the stars... but where this place falters is the food. I tried the beef dip, the sriracha cheesesteak, and the potato salad. The sandwiches were horribly salty (and if I'm saying something is salty then it's pretty bad). I couldn't finish my beef dip it was so salty, and the sriracha cheesesteak was a chore to finish for my sister. The sriracha cheesesteak was also rather greasy (probably due to the sriracha)... though it did have good flavor hiding under all the salt and grease. The potato salad was bland and flavorless... and I didn't eat more than a couple bites. If this place had good food to match everything else, I know I would like it. Read some great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. Had the beef dip and the bread was so soft and fresh that it melted in your mouth. Meat and au jur were very good. Added a side of their potato salad which tasted very good!! My son got the cheese steak sandwich and loved it!! The place was empty but we came at 4:30 but soon others trickled in. Really great French dip (ADD CHEESE)! I went on a Friday night and they ran out of white bread so I had to have a wheat frenchie. First time for everything, right? I was pretty hesitant cuz wheat tends to be really dry and dense, but to my surprise...it wasnt. I'd love to go back and try it on white. The USB outlets on the walls and bar are pretty dope. The ordering at the bar before you sit is really inconvenient and quite confusing...hopefully they'll improve that. Suggestion to management: you would probably be 100 times more efficient if you had people serving the tables instead of ordering at the bar. And your employees will get a chance to earn tips. I come in and see a sign that they have a deal little stack combo choice of meat (turkey, ham, or roast beef) I chose roast beef, cheese (didn't offer me if I had option to choose) mayo, lettuce tomatoes, on a wheat or white hoagie bread, with fries or pub chips, and a drink. (Total 11.86) The cashier lady wasn't very receptive just felt like I was being a annoyance when I asked for suggestions just from her response cause I had to say what kind of meat it includes, which really threw me off when I asked regarding the special since there was no options on the sign and would think she would ask me not me asking, even when I was asking if they had different kind of mustards, she was giving attitude have to order it on the side, but I just wanted reg mustard. So after I ordered waited for 15 mins and while I am waiting a women came in to pick up her food and she asked for ranch, and she got a return response of needed to pay extra, but she said she ordered extra. Basically seems this place nickel and dimes for any anything (surprised didn't charge me for the mustard) but she eventually got it. When I got my food I looked in my bag had one side of ketchup and I asked if I can get some more, lady of course stated "I already put one in." Just got annoyed and left. Sandwich was as plain as it could be. Basically one thin layer on each side of bread of roast meat I mean paper thin, and rest were just filling. All in all very disappointed with the overall experience. And it wasn't like it was even busy. read more

I used to be a huge fan of them. Even to the point where I bought a sweatshirt of theirs. I'm really surprised how they are showing so much disregard towards the safety of just people coming in. And the quality of their food it seems has gone to the wayside as well. The club sandwich I got had stale bread, cold fries, and everything was spilt in the bag. Very disappointed on a few of the items we ordered. I ordered a 6" buffalo ranch sandwich for around $7-8. It was wayyyy to saucy and salty. I love buffalo flavor but not prepared like how I had it. But that was more then overcome by the superb roll (chewy, fresh, excellent) and the melted cheese, the very tender lean steak expertly seasoned with the very nice addition of red onion. Waitress said everything was made fresh to rider and after tasting it, I believe her. Prices were about normal for california, which means higher then they should be but not outrageous. We decided to come here after reading the reviews and seeing they had Stone and other good beers on tap along with bottled beers. The restaurant atmosphere and look is great! I hope this place can stay as this location is in more of a business area. We have seen restaurants come and go in the location and we would be sad to see it leave. What a great place when you're craving a great sandwich! I would have given more stars, had the service been better. We ordered take-out and ordering via phone was awful. The background noise was so loud I was screaming into the phone so the person taking my order could hear me. She kept asking me to repeat myself. First I tried to order online, and realized that certain sandwiches were not offered online, so I had to call in my order. The sandwiches were all very good. We enjoyed the Turkey, Meatball, Philly and French Dip. Bread tasted fresh, as I would expect because they get their bread freshly delivered daily. Unfortunately the white french bread was already gone by the time we placed our order. Usually a good sign of something, when they have ran out. The location is unexpected, located in a small strip mall. The decor is fun and inviting, and they have a private room that would be great for a larger group. All in all it was a great experience. The sriracha was delicious with lots of cheese covering the meat. The poppers were hands down amazing! The bacon was cooked to perfection with a generous portion of cream cheese filling in each. My favorite sandwich place! Try it out! They have a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches to choose from. Decent beer selection too. My favorites are the buffalo chicken ranch on white and the chicken sriracha cheese steak on white (not on the menu), but every sandwich I have had has been delicious. Any hot sandwich that has cheese on it will have melted cheese with toast marks bubbled across the top and halfway down the sides (my favorite part). The sides are great as well. My favorite is the beer battered onion rings. I've tried their potato salad and I liked it. The fries are good too, nothing spectacular, but not bad. Portions are HUMONGOUS! A small sandwich is probably sufficient for most, but a large is only a couple dollars more and you get the chance to enjoy your sandwich twice. The hardest part is pushing one's self to try something else on the menu. I have one dislike: their original sriracha cheese steak is a bit salty, too salt for my enjoyment the two times I order it. Maybe next time I get one, I'll ask if there's anything they can do about it. read more
