I'm very particular about my philly cheese steaks and I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It's got my official stamp of approval! The initial vibe and atmosphere were very positive and relaxed. Their food selection all sounded delicious and made it hard to decide but regardless, it wouldn't have been a wrong choice. Their popular sriracha philly was absolutely delicious. Their bun is fresh and soft. They don't skimp on the cheese, veggies, or meat. I got too full to try anything else but it just makes the anticipation that more great for the next visit. Definitely recommend. read more

I would like to start this off by stating that Stackz shows the power of Yelp as this was the epitome of a mom and pop establishment, but (with the the exception of Philadelphia) it blew all west coast cheesesteaks out of the water! The place itself is tucked away in a tiny strip mall away from the hustle and bustle of Rancho's blossoming socialites and had it not been for the pictures of the business from the photo gallery it may have been more of a challenge to find as even the gps system got a bit screwy towards the end. All I can say is that the picture doesn't do the meal justice, but amen to the cheese overload and even the Sriracha part of the cheesesteak was not overpowering to the point where I needed the fire department to extinguish my taste buds! The portion itself was well worth the value and is massive. It's certainly a shareable item or if you try to impress the wife like I did you pound it out in one sitting like a champion. The bread was surprisingly soft, but doesn't get mushy holding in all the beefy goodness and Sriracha. I expected to be immersed in sauced up bread, but that was never the case. The meat itself was tender and contained no gristle and it was just seasoned with enough pop to make even the East Coast through up a W for the Westside! Ok. I literally am in the parking lot right now writing this. Fresh yummy simple bomb bomb bomb. About 10 beers on tap. Had the DBL mango. Good. But wanted to mix it half with shock top. The lovely young lady said they can't do that. WTF?... All good. I understand rules. Kinda. :) Hubby had the meatball sandwich. He loved it. And he gets meatball sandwiches pretty frequently. Sauce was great. If it's from a jar they seasoned it up really good. Cause I tastes like homemade. So I'm going with homemade. Meatballs were cut in half. So there was "more" meatballs. Verses only getting 3. Melted cheese yum. And I'm so really not a cheese person. I had the saracha sandwich that everyone posted on yelp. I was very yummy... Maybe I'll add tomatoes next time. The melted cheese was great. The menu was simple paper. decor cute had walls painted with chalkboard paint so there was writing on certain wall. The bathroom for the girls was even so cute. Done right. Kinda like a low key fancy. Next time I come I'm going to try something else. The turkey on sqwa bread looked great... Oh shit!!!! The potato salad!!!!! I can't believe I almost forgot that! It literally made me miss my nana. (Grandma) she made the BEST egg and I've sandwiches. This TOTALLY reminded me of her. Being stuck by the Ontatio Convention Center/Airport with not a lot of great food choices...I looked up Stackz and decided to venture out and give it a try. It's in a weird small strip mall area but the place was somewhat crowded, football was on, and saw several beers on tap. Works for me! My order: Sriracha Cheese Steak. $6.99 for a small...which was more than enough for one person. $2.79 for potato salad side. The potato salad was good. It had bacon in it and good overall flavor...the side was almost enough for 2 people. The cheese steak had a lot of meat and not enough toppings. It came with onions & bell peppers (I also added shredded lettuce) but didn't see hardly any in my sandwich. What I didn't know was that the meat itself was cooked in the sriracha sauce. This made it more spicy and a bit more greasy than I would have liked. Needless to say I was sick to my stomach not but an hour later. 25oz beers...do yourself a favor and ASK which ones are priced as "special". Their menu boasts $5.50 for domestic and $6.50 for imported...but doesn't say what beers those may be. Then there is "special" pricing for other beers on tap. Little did I know my beer would end up costing me $9. For two sandwiches with sides and two 25oz beers the bill was nearly $50 with tip. Way too expensive for a "quick lunch" in my opinion. Not knowing the beers would cost so much didn't help. read more

This was a lucky Yelp find!! I was in the area and was looking for a new place to try...had I driven by it (like I have countless times before) I would not have stopped in. But thanks to the magic of Yelp and my fellow yelpers, I was persuaded to come. Here are the pros: I had the E's Steak sandwich and it was simply perfect. The place has a cool vibe to it. (Modern industrial decor) The service was excellent. It's very popular for lunch. Cons: Parking is limited. Macaroni salad had too much red onion. Long lunch lines. First time here. Tried the cheesesteak with onion rings. The bread is fantastic! I thought the meat, though plentiful, was a bit dry and salty. I wish the cheese and peppers/onions were more evenly distributed so there would be some in every bite. The onions rings were battered well and came with a side of ranch. Very friendly staff! The place had weird hours! Coming in at around 6:30 the place seems dimly lit with a nice, casual bar-like environment. There seemed to be only two servers, but both were very helpful! The place seemed a little packed due to their happy hour that we just missed (2 dollar domestics and half off fries and onion rings), so we decided to get the order to go!We went ahead and ordered the Sriracha Cheese Steak [$6.49] , Beef Dip sandwiches [$6.49] (both small) and the Home Made Poppers [$3.99]. THE HOME MADE POPPERS..... Soft jalapeños filled with a generous amount of ooey gooey cheese wrapped in crispy yet perfectly cooked bacon..... They tasted fresh and hot and were my favorite part of the meal. ( I ate them on the car ride home....) The Sriracha Cheese Steak was perfectly spicy with a fusion twist! The meat was tender with a bit of texture; beautifully combined with what seemed to be a mixture bell peppers and onions. And surprisingly the bread was not soggy, even after the drive back home! The Beef Dip was disappointing in comparison to the Sriracha Cheese Steak, but I would consider it more of a simple, classic sandwich. I really wanted to like this place because it seems like a nice chill bar to go to. They even have my favorite beer on tap (Hangar 24 Orange Wheat) and the waitress/bartenders here are super friendly and it didn't take too long to order or receive our food. HOWEVER, The food is horribly salty and greasy. I checked out Yelp before going and decided to get the sriracha cheese steak. The sandwich was probably the greasiest sandwich I have ever had. The grease was running down my hands as I was trying to eat it. The potato salad also looked like it would be tasty but it was also incredibly salty with no flavor! I may come back for a beer but I would not recommend eating the food here unless the chefs start to take it easy on the salt. read more

This place is amazing I ordered the Sriracha Cheesesteak the meat was really tender and cooked to perfection. The bread was probably the best part of the entire sandwich. It was very soft and taste like it was just made. My Fiancé had the veggie sandwich with the buffalo chicken salad and she loved both. They also have a great selection of beers both on tap and in bottles. Love this local watering hole. One stop brewery hop with great food

We popped in here yesterday afternoon for lunch. The ambiance is relaxed and feels like a local dive-y lunch spot/bar. When we arrived we were given menus by a nice girl and told to seat ourselves and order at the bar when ready. The menu is pretty short and sweet which makes choosing nice and easy. They have a nice selection of sandwiches which all sounded pretty darn good. My better half and I decided to go with the cheese steak. I got the small with extra onion no peppers, he got the large and let me tell you it's large. We placed our order and while we waited we enjoyed the game on the several big screen TVs they have. They even offered to put it on whatever game we wanted to watch, which was nice. The staff here were friendly and welcoming which is always a plus! Our food arrived pretty quickly. The bread on our sandwiches was incredible, it was so soft and really delicious. The meat was plentiful and tasty. We shared fries and onion rings, the fries were standard and good but the onion rings were excellent. All in all this was a good spot to stop in for lunch. There were a couple of things that kept this from being 5 stars for me. The meat in the sandwiches was very tasty but it was also very salty and I dont say that lightly. I love salt and use probably too much on most things and it still tasted salty even to me. One last small thing, I love mushrooms in my cheese steak and they don't offer mushrooms. Other then that if you're looking for a delicious, hearty sandwich in a kick back environment pop in and give them a shot! read more

Came here for the first time after always passing by it on my way to work. Finally had a chance to give it shot one day when I got off work early and I'm glad I did, this shiz was bomb diggity! I couldn't make up my mind which sandwich I wanted so the lady taking my order helped me narrow it down, I didn't catch her name but she was super sweet. I ended up getting the chicken bacon ranch sub but I added a buffalo sauce to the chicken, It was super good, I also got the bacon jalapeño cream cheese poppers on the side, and man let me tell you those things were like an orgasm in my mouth! My mom makes some pretty amazing poppers at home and these actually topped hers which was surprising lol, just the poppers alone are definitely worth a trip here! I didn't get a chance to have a beer because I was driving and on my way to run a few errands but I love the atmosphere here and I'm glad they have drinks to offer so I'll definitely be back for a beer and to try more food from the menu. read more

Yelp needs to have multiple categories for their star system. This place gets 5 stars for atmosphere. Bathrooms are impeccable...chalk to write on the walls, cool vibe. I ordered the turkey, bacon and avocado and was quite disappointed in the amount of turkey. Two slices. I had to order extra turkey. Mayo was sloppy and all over the bread. Shredded iceberg lettuce looked cheap and seemed to be a filler to compensate for the lack of turkey. I'll give it another shot during the week. read more

So my fiancé and I have been driving by this spot on a regular basis for he last few months and we decided yesterday was the day to go check it out. First off, this place wasn't over crowded, it had very open seating arrangements, you can order with a server or through a scalable code at whichever table number you are at, and there is indoor and outdoor seating. She had the French dip with potato salad, I had the six shooter burger with pub chips, we ordered jalapeño poppers and a side of fries. And let me just say, I'm really bummed I didn't get pics of the food this time around- however, next time we go I'll get some pics because the food was absolutely wonderful. The service was quick, the food was cooked to perfection, everything was sanitary, and they had some good beer selection- including local beers near by. We found out from our server that the place is pretty mellow and that they even allow well behaved dogs in the patio which is super cool, so we think we will bring ours next time around. Our server was very friendly, both girls working in fact were very friendly, and I literally cannot find a single thing to say needed to be fixed or added. If you are ever near by or if you live in the area- this place is definitely worth the trip. This is going to end up being our regular haunt, we both enjoyed this place so much! This is my first time here. I came looking for a great sandwich. I will say I can for the streak sandwich, however, changed my mind once I saw the turkey bacon avocado. This place is located in a weird spot but its such a good find. They serve sandwiches and sides. Portions are HUGE and every sandwich I've tried there has been very good. The prices are a tad high however you are not getting skimped on portions so it balances out I guess. The inside is pretty cool. Its got a quite bar feel to it. My experience was Underwhelming but I didn't exactly go with my foodie crew. Had the bacon cheese fries, jalapeño poppers and the Delicious sriracha Philly cheese steak sub. Staff was very friendly. My date didn't enjoy her fries, neither did i, they were just so basic. Poppers were good just could have used some heat.
