This was my first experience buying a car from a lot. It seemed like maybe there should have been another person there as Jimmy and Anthony were balancing a lot of different people and transactions. After deciding we wanted to vehicle, my husband and I went with the financing through Global Federal CU. The interest rate was good. There were a bunch of papers to sign. I wouldn't call Jimmy the most organized, however, everything was almost signed. He did have to send me an email asking me to sign a form that was missed. I think the whole experience was around 2-3 hours. Overall, the monthly payments for a 20K vehicle is what I expected and isn't breaking the bank. If we have to use the warranties, I'll update the review. Random FYIs: Our license plates were delayed due to some miscommunication. I can't recall exactly why. Our temporary plates were expired when we drove out to get the plates. That is also when we got the spare key which was at the other lot location. This doesn't impact the overall experience for me, stuff happens. But just FYI for those who are more particular.

I traded it in in 2022 for a RAV4 that I bought elsewhere, I had it serviced under the Toyota warranty elsewhere for a year. I was so excited to come back to Brooks Biddle service department for them to handle my RAV4! I called Chris, set up an appointment, just went there this last week they put in a new horn for me that I wanted (because I can't stand on the RAV4 horn), they put a new battery & checked my brakes, topped off all my fluids, changed my oil, changed my wiper blades, just at all around wonderful service department. I highly recommend for anything. They're very honest.

We had a terrible experience at Brooks Biddle Automotive…read more We took the day off work and drove an hour to have the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing it. When we returned with the inspection, our salesperson, Ian, acted as though he was doing us a favor by working with us. His attitude was arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional throughout the process. One example: when we asked if the vehicle came with two key fobs, Ian confidently told us that it did and said they only sell cars with two sets of keys. A short time later, he came back and admitted the vehicle only had one key fob. He then told us we could purchase a second one for $40. When I asked why they couldn't simply include it after initially telling us the car had two, his response was, "Well, I like free things too, but nothing in life is for free." That dismissive comment was incredibly off-putting and unnecessary. By that point, we had already invested an entire day, paid for an independent inspection, and traveled a significant distance, so we felt committed to completing the purchase. Otherwise, we would have walked away. To make matters worse, while we were signing the paperwork, the dealership offered us a $50 gas card in exchange for leaving a five-star Google review. It was frustrating that they were willing to pay for positive reviews but unwilling to honor what they had originally told us about the second key fob. The problems didn't end there. After we purchased the second key fob, we were told it was available and that we simply needed to bring the vehicle in for programming. When we called to let them know we were on our way, they put us on hold to "make sure they had it." We never received a return call. The vehicle itself has been great, but the customer service was disappointing from start to finish. If you choose to shop here, be prepared for poor communication and a sales experience that left us feeling misled and disrespected.

My husband and i were van shopping as we just had a new born baby and we have a 3 year old as well…read more the van they showed us was clean and in great exterior condition. low miles mileage interior was clean too. So we took it but then we noticed that it had aahuge transmission leak, we took it back and all they did was add a quart.problem sick persisted. i brought it back again. i told them i had this happen at a different dealership that sold me a car and the tranny dropped amonth later. they assured me they only sell quality cars. Well his mechanic looked at it again and replaced a Bering in the axel. when it turned out i still had to spend $2600 right after to replace the differential. if your differential is bad putting a bearing in is only a patch job because it won't fix the problem. So when the mechanic who looked at it should have seen that was the problem and they know i have children they chose to short cut the fix. So I'm driving and then leaking fluid still and the van doesn't want to catch gears, I am on the freeway I'm not able to move because i can't keep this fluid in my transmission. putting me and my kids at risk. But like they are going to fix it properly. No way will i ever buy a vehicle here again or recommend anyone else too. your just going to get screwed. what's the point of having an on site mechanic if he can't even fix the vehicle or make it worth what your paying. 5500$ our loan was for 22 months. plus 2600$ and its a 97 . So i paid about 8500$ iIcould have gotten a newer car.don't buy here.

I purchased a used vehicle a few weeks ago (I know that it needed 1 new tire only) and a few days…read moreafter purchasing it, the car died while driving pretty often so I had it towed there and they checked it out and said that everything was fine. I got in the car the next day to drive it and it was fine for a few moments and then it was not because it would die every 3 minutes SO, I got it towed in again (getting expensive) and then he said that he will look at it for me to see what the problem was. He had the car for about 3 days and I specifically said that I will not pay for anything that gets fixed on it because I work at a auto dealership and I get discounts for it. He said OK and that he understands that. So, they tell me that it is fixed and I go to pick up the vehicle (which is by my house) and he said that I owe him $360..WHAT?!?! Are you kidding me and he did not even tell me what the problem was. I told him that I am not going to pay that because I told him that I did not want him to fix it and he took it upon himself to do so. I am super upset at this point and I told him that I will not pay it. Finally after going back and forth for a bit, he said fine and I had my car back. Well, the VERY next day the car would not turn on or start so I patiently and some what calmly call the guy and he said that he would take a llook at it (in the meantime that all of this crazyness is going on, I have had to get rides, take buses and gone completely out of my way-AFTER I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR)so, he said that it was the battery (even though I tried charging it and it did not work for me still). I tell my ride that I no longer need a ride to work because the car is fixed and I get in it this morning and it still will not work. I am really upset with the way that things are handled. The vehicle is not under warranty and I know that since it is used that it is not covered under the Lemon Law. However, the shady business that they are running there is not right and it has caused a lot of problems for me and my family and my job. They have taken me for a ride.

We paid cash in full for the vehicle. CarMax had no problem taking the money from our account immediately, yet when significant issues were discovered shortly after the purchase, the process of getting our money back was anything but immediate. After taking the Mercedes to the dealership for a thorough inspection, we discovered multiple issues that would cost more than $10,000 to repair. These were not minor cosmetic concerns--they were significant mechanical issues that made us completely uncomfortable keeping the vehicle. We promptly decided to return the car under CarMax's return policy. However, when we went to return it on Thursday, we were told that the soonest CarMax could issue our refund check was Monday. That is incredibly frustrating when you consider that CarMax was able to take our money immediately when we purchased the vehicle. We paid cash specifically so we could have the flexibility to purchase a reliable vehicle for our son, who is extremely excited about finally being able to drive. Instead, because CarMax could immediately withdraw our money but could not immediately return it, we are left without access to those funds for several days and unable to move forward with purchasing another vehicle. The customer service was equally disappointing. Denise was extremely unprofessional, and throughout this entire process, I found the staff at the Lynnwood location to be unhelpful and unwilling to take ownership of the situation. We repeatedly had to try to figure things out ourselves rather than feeling like anyone was actually advocating for us as customers. I understand that used vehicles can have issues. What I find unacceptable is the combination of the condition of the vehicle, the significant repair costs discovered almost immediately after purchase, and the lack of urgency and customer service when we tried to return it. Buying a car--especially a first car for your teenage child--should be an exciting experience. Instead, this turned into an incredibly frustrating and stressful one. I would never recommend CarMax Lynnwood based on our experience, and I will not be purchasing another vehicle from CarMax.

I am based in California and purchased a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT TRX4 with a 4.7 High Output engine in February of 2021 from SNS Auto. Communication- from start to finish Sal has been responsive, communicative and professional. He was open and honest with me regarding all issues, inspections and maintenance and very detailed when negotiating price. As a potential out-of-state customer, Sal also took the time to set up a virtual (FaceTime) to allow me the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the vehicle (as much as possible through FaceTime). It took roughly an hour and half but Sal showed me every single good and bad detail (scratches, paint condition, vehicle idle, engine compartment) about the truck and anything I asked him to show or hear he complied happily. He even crawled on his hands knees to show me the undercarriage of the vehicle for like 10 minutes while it was running so I can observe if any leaks, heavy rust, etc., etc. His level of honesty and overall communication has been amazing. Customer Service- Sal is a natural and humble servant to his customers. At no point did I ever feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of. I've worked in sales before and have had many interactions with car salesmen/saleswomen so I am quite familiar with sales techniques, language and practices. Sal is straight up and honest and sincerely wants to satisfy his clients. In some instances he went above and beyond what any sales person has ever done for me. Product- I purchased/shipped the vehicle and the price (plus shipping) was under KBB and I was satisfied. Sal worked out some magic to get me an incredible rate for shipping that was well under other estimates and shipping only took 2-3 days. (The delivery driver was also incredibly nice and communicative). Upon receiving the vehicle, it was apparent that there were many issues that were not observed during our virtual test drives. I took the car for a test drive and as mentioned, I observed some issues that I needed to address with Sal. Before I could reach out to Sal to discuss the issues, he was already calling/texting me to confirm that the vehicle had arrived and that I was satisfied. We had some lengthy conversations about the issues I observed but if you're still reading- THIS IS WHEN I WAS BLOWN AWAY WITH SAL'S EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE- Together we investigated and addressed every issue. We even spoke to the SNS in-house mechanic to iron out details of the issues. I also took the vehicle to my personal mechanic for diagnosis and to write up estimates as needed. Sal offered to help cover some of the expenses and even found parts needed and shipped them to me. I truly believe that if I lived closer to SNS auto, Sal and his team would have addressed all the issues for me but because I am an out-of-state buyer he worked with me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE to make sure I was satisfied and that the vehicle was in the condition as advertised pre-purchase. It is important to note that I purchased the vehicle with an "AS IS WARRANTY" which typically means no warranty and the vehicle is sold as is- but Sal is a family oriented and honest professional and went the extra mile to ensure the vehicle met my standards. Overall Conclusion - it is now been about a month and half since I purchased the vehicle and I have finally completed all work needed to correct/fix issues. BUT I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT SAL- He has been incredibly supportive and helpful to making sure the vehicle met my standards. As mentioned, sourcing parts and helping cover expenses while maintaining high levels of communication is more than I could have ever asked for. Some of you reading this might think that this should not be a 5 star review, but I am honestly incredibly happy and beyond impressed with Sal and SNS team for all they have done to make me a happy California client. Unbiased review!…read more Pros and Cons: Pros: Jessica Strand went above and beyond to find a car that we wanted. We came in looking for a good used car but ended up buying a 2026 Corolla Cross XLE. Jessica helped us look at all our options. She has a quiet and non-pushy demeanor which I appreciated. She stayed late and even came in on her day off when we came to pick up the car. This 5 star review is for her. Another Pro: Maxwell in finance dept. He is no BS fast and awesome! We found him very honest and easy to work with. Another pro: Nice bathrooms and free fountain drinks. Lol, hey, those perks matter to women. Now for the Cons: As other reviewers have said, this place has "hidden markups" but they aren't hidden, just arrive with your brain and be prepared to walk away if they force ANY aftermarket's on you. For example, our car was $31K roughly, when we went to sign there was almost $5K in "after markets". Things like door and cup protectors and Pulse (the flashing brake lights feature). So you think the cost of your car is the $31K but it's not. We fought every single aftermarket charge and it went down from $5K to $499.00. We kept the aftermarkets. Question everything on that sheet. The extended warranty: get it. Just don't pay full price. Negotiate that down. The service maintenance plan for 5 years for $1800. That's a steal. Get it, but again, negotiate it down. They give on the lower end for trade ins. For example, we were offered $14K for a 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite trim with 110K miles. KBB is $18K. So that's just a reference for you. Overall, this dealership is fine if you know what you're walking in to. Jessica isn't going to help you lower the price but she will go back and forth as many times as needed to her manager to make it happen. Be prepared to walk away if they don't make it happen for you. I give it 5 stars because Jessica was so pleasant and low pressure and easy to work with and Maxwell in finance was stellar! I have zero experience with the service dept so I cannot comment on that.
