I purchased a used vehicle a few weeks ago (I know that it needed 1 new tire only) and a few days after purchasing it, the car died while driving pretty often so I had it towed there and they checked it out and said that everything was fine. I got in the car the next day to drive it and it was fine for a few moments and then it was not because it would die every 3 minutes SO, I got it towed in again (getting expensive) and then he said that he will look at it for me to see what the problem was. He had the car for about 3 days and I specifically said that I will not pay for anything that gets fixed on it because I work at a auto dealership and I get discounts for it. He said OK and that he understands that. So, they tell me that it is fixed and I go to pick up the vehicle (which is by my house) and he said that I owe him $360..WHAT?!?! Are you kidding me and he did not even tell me what the problem was. I told him that I am not going to pay that because I told him that I did not want him to fix it and he took it upon himself to do so. I am super upset at this point and I told him that I will not pay it. Finally after going back and forth for a bit, he said fine and I had my car back. Well, the VERY next day the car would not turn on or start so I patiently and some what calmly call the guy and he said that he would take a llook at it (in the meantime that all of this crazyness is going on, I have had to get rides, take buses and gone completely out of my way-AFTER I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR)so, he said that it was the battery (even though I tried charging it and it did not work for me still). I tell my ride that I no longer need a ride to work because the car is fixed and I get in it this morning and it still will not work. I am really upset with the way that things are handled. The vehicle is not under warranty and I know that since it is used that it is not covered under the Lemon Law. However, the shady business that they are running there is not right and it has caused a lot of problems for me and my family and my job. They have taken me for a ride. read more
