This is based on purchasing a vehicle late March. We found the vehicle online and scheduled a time to come drive it. The car salesman was Anthony and the finance guy was Jimmy. This was my first experience buying a car from a lot. It seemed like maybe there should have been another person there as Jimmy and Anthony were balancing a lot of different people and transactions. After deciding we wanted to vehicle, my husband and I went with the financing through Global Federal CU. The interest rate was good. There were a bunch of papers to sign. I wouldn't call Jimmy the most organized, however, everything was almost signed. He did have to send me an email asking me to sign a form that was missed. I think the whole experience was around 2-3 hours. Overall, the monthly payments for a 20K vehicle is what I expected and isn't breaking the bank. If we have to use the warranties, I'll update the review. Random FYIs: Our license plates were delayed due to some miscommunication. I can't recall exactly why. Our temporary plates were expired when we drove out to get the plates. That is also when we got the spare key which was at the other lot location. This doesn't impact the overall experience for me, stuff happens. But just FYI for those who are more particular. read more

First Chevy 2010 Tahoe didn't last 2 weeks then died. They tried to repair it and it went another 2 weeks and died. Returned it and Lost $3000.00 and 3 months down time. Traded in for a Jeep Wrangler, When it was time for an oil change I found out they had the wrong dip stick in it that showed oil good at 1 qt. low. Now with a full 5 qt. of oil the engine rear main oil seal is leaking! I would not recommend buying any vehicles from them. They don't sell certified used vehicles just problems! My "always reliable" car was unfortunately damaged during a routine maintenance from a local grease monkey, then further damaged by the auto repair shop I was recommended to. Ultimately the damage was so severe it caused me to need a new car. After visiting several lots and dealerships in the area, I ended up at Autoright Motors. I fell in love with a car after I test drove it and was able to take my new car home within a few hours. The process and pricing was very straightforward and they were able to trade my poor old car. Although I love the car I bought form this dealer. Car fax and what I was told done to this car before purchase doesn't seem to line up. I was told this car was up to code, had anything needing replacement was done. Not three months later, spark plugs and tube was needed. 900.00 right there. My mechanic, Eastside Auto Care also mentioned the oils was dirty, via my first check. I've had this car since September with the tube up needed three months after (only 57,000 miles) but they called a few weeks ago to check on me (maybe six month courtesy) and I was speechless. NOT A FAMILY BUSINESS! BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! READ BELOW I wanted to buy a car for my mother because she watches my son when I'm at work. I shopped for my car rates prior to coming to the dealership and found a 3.24% interest rate with my credit union (CU). I found a car that I wanted to buy for my mom at this dealership. I live in Federal Way and it would be an hour drive for me. The day before I came in, I contacted the dealership and talked to Sno. He was able to answer my questions about the car and I told him I will be coming in the next day. Sno proceed to say something about financing and said that if they pulled my credit report, "it would be a SOFT INQUIRY." I told him that it was not necessary because I already have an interest rate with my CU. 1030 am: The very next day I come into the dealership with my mother, boyfriend and 7 months old son. My boyfriend owns a Subaru and went to some schooling for mechanics. As I approach Sno, one of the very first things I told him that I was going to work with my credit union with financing. He gives me the keys to the car. We looked at the car and within a hour of test driving and inspecting it, I knew that this was the car for mother. 1200 pm: I proceed to tell Sno that I would like to purchase the car. He had me sign a piece of paper, not really telling me what I'm signing. I thought I was signing to proceed with the car purchase. Within 15 minutes, Greg, the finance person, came up to me with a higher interest rate of 6.9% and $2500 money down. I told him Idk know why my credit score was even down and told him it was incorrect. I proceed to tell Greg that I would be using my credit union for financing. He then had me get information, in which I had to find in a chain of email with had with the CU. About another 10 minutes, I had the contact person information with the credit union and proceeded to give him the CU information. After another 10 minutes, he comes back with an even higher interest rate of 9%. I was then becoming more furious bc as they keep going away, my phone pops up that multiple inquiries on my credit report was being added. 1:30pm : After an hour and a half of this nonsense, Greg came back to me again. I asked him if he was talking to the contact person with my credit union. He gave me a run around story that I had to drive back to my credit union, which was an hour away, to give them a purchase form and drive all the way back to the dealership. They wanted me to sign a contract that if my loan did not go through with my CU, I would use their finance contract of 6.24% so that I did not have to drive all the way back to Bothell. At this point, I become outraged and even told Greg that I was irritated. I then proceed to call my CU contact person, who told me the proper steps I needed to do and the dealership could fax over the purchase form. 2:30 pm: Within an hr of doing this with my CU, the car was purchase. My boyfriend was even furious bc he knew what they were doing after an hour of waiting. They wanted me to use their bank so they get the incentives. They ignored me and my request as a customer. My boyfriend even told me that we should leave and forget about the car. But I wanted to get this through. He left about 2:00 pm with my 7 month old son bc of traffic and he wanted to take the baby home. If they would have listened from me from the very beginning, I would have gotten down with the car purchase within an hour of test driving it. This was by far THE WORST CAR PURCHASING EXPERIENCE EVER! Not only did they not listen to me from the beginning, they ignored that I had my mother, boyfriend and 7 month son with me. What I should have done was just walk away from this dealership, but I put more money in their pockets. They also mislead me stating that a soft inquiry was going to be done on my credit report. They ended up pulling from 6 different lenders when I already had the bank I was working with. They are obviously not a family business. They were so worried about making a dollar, instead of caring that my family, including 7 month old son was with me. Not only did I drive a hour to get here, I spent a total of unnecessary time at this dealership. 2 hours! Please don't make the mistake I did. EDIT: Unfortunately, I have to edit our review. Our car buying experience was wonderful, but our customer service experience after the fact was not. At the time of purchase, we were unsure about some of the optional coverage that was included in the sales price (extended warranty, GAP coverage, etc). They assured us that we could cancel these additional services at anytime for a prorated refund. After purchasing coverage through an outside agency, we tried to cancel the coverage bought through AutoRight. We have been pursuing this for over 3 months now and just keep getting the run around. It has been very frustrating. I would have to reconsider recommending this dealership because of it. We bought a car from Autoright Motors yesterday and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've ever had. The salesperson, Greg, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There was no pressure to buy, which I really appreciated. Although we had already been pre-approved by our credit union, they were able to find us an even better deal on financing. We were first-time buyers looking for a good minivan, and had already spent four consecutive days and 15+ hours looking, only to be constantly attacked with high pressure situations. Getting here was like a breath of fresh air, with some friendly staff willing to negotiate without all the annoying mind games or lengthy battles. We settled on a price for our 2008 Honda Odyssey after less than 10 minutes of negotiating, ending at a fair price in the cross section between Blue Book, Edmunds, Black Book, and Nada. We did have a long wait before we could get the paperwork done because there were 2 other deals closed right before we got there, but they were still good enough that I'm more than happy to give them another 5-star review. read more

When I was looking for reviews on used car dealerships, I was trying to find the ones where people reported back that the car they bought was still running great, six months to a year after they purchased it. Call me a skeptic, but I wanted to be 100% the car I chose to purchase wasn't secretly a lemon. So, it's been almost 8 months, and can I just say, I am still in love with my car!? It's the first car I have ever purchased that I LOVE and it was in fabulous condition at purchase and still is today. My experience at Autoright was my first car buying experience. It certainly wasn't perfect; but am I happy with the price I paid? Yes. Do I feel they were giving me an honest deal? Yes. Did I feel pressured to purchase? Yes, actually, but honestly, because I knew it was the car I wanted, the pressure didn't bother me as much as it did with other salesmen I had dealt with previously. I just needed time to think without the pressure to purchase immediately. Generally, the people at Autoright are friendly and willing to work with you and help you walk out with a vehicle you're happy with, yet you didn't feel you overspent on. Since it was my first major purchase, I had some crazy anxiety and nerves but they were really patient in answering my questions and giving me time to think before I signed anything. I will say if you don't plan to finance with their bank, to stand firm on that. I did feel a push to finance with them even though I had a firm decision to finance with my own. All in all, I do recommend them if you are looking for a vehicle. As with any used car purchase, I also recommend having any car checked by YOUR OWN MECHANIC or someone you trust to be honest with you, before purchasing, but in general, I felt comfortable at Autoright. I purchased a used Nissan work van and the guy doing the paperwork offered a guaranteed asset protection addendum and a customized protection package. The extra totaled over$3000. The worker, named Ha showed us everything that works be covered, we signed the paperwork and didn't look at it again until we needed it. Turned out we didn't get the coverage we thought. Even the name on the paperwork and the vehicle listed want even or own, it was a bmw. I feel very stupid for signing something that I didn't fully read, but he was explaining it so well, while pointing at various things on the paper, so we just signed. Anyway I called them about it, sent pictures, asked for copied of what coverage we really had. They swore up and down I had good coverage and we told them that we needed the car to be towed to a place and checked out because none of the keys were working. They said the toe would be covered completely and they weren't sure on on how much would be covered on the key but they thought it would be completely covered but we didn't know yet for sure what it was I asked them how to contact this place called Zurich to find out, they gave me a number I called them. Anyway it turned out that we only got 50 bucks for the tow charge that was $160 and the key just needed to be replaced because the chip and it was bad and that wasn't covered at all. I contacted Auto right back telling them what happened and I never heard from them again. Won't go there again and will continue to post my review everywhere. read more

Great no-pressure experience, and we feel like they were very fair on price. They were super accommodating - We arrived on a Sunday at like 5:45, when they close at 6. Yet they never even mentioned that, and patiently went through the process. RJ was our sales person, and he was really pleasant to work with, without being fake or pushy. John, their Finance Manager, was also great to work with, including making sure we understood the things we were signing, while also keeping things moving at a good pace. So if you're considering Autoright Motors, don't worry, the dealership is pretty no frills as far as the lot/building, but it's a high quality experience. I much preferred it to the slick presentation and smarmy ways at the supposedly 'better' dealerships. Remember, those bells and whistles you see at those places cost money, and those costs are passed on to YOU. I took my wife here to buy a car. We were looking at a Mazda CX-5 that they had on the lot. It was marketed as a clean title. Upon arrival I immediately noticed one of the headlights was brand new, so I sent the VIN# to a buddy and had him run a carfax. An older gentlemen came out and greeted us, and I pointed out the headlight. He advised if it had been replaced it was due to a mechanical issue and that this car had NEVER been in a crash. My buddy responded with the carfax and showed screenshots that it HAD been in a crash and the airbags had deployed. I mentioned to the salesmen that the carfax "showed a crash" and that was all I said. He replied with a big rant about how they would never sell a car that had airbags deployed and this big whole thing.. I then showed him the carfax that explained the airbags HAD deployed, right after he told me they would never sell a car that had been in a serious crash with airbags deploying. After all this, he wouldn't budge on the price whatsoever even after learning this car that they were selling as a clean title never been wrecked had been in a serious wreck. These guys are snakes. Stay away from this dealership. I wish I would have called the cops. I noticed the car is gone, hope whoever bought it didn't pay full price for it. :( read more

I was looking for a mini cooper used with only 10k miles a year on it. I talked to Chuck "Fish" and told him what I wanted and he told me to be patient and they would find me something. He stayed in touch with me yet never came across as a sales guy. About 3 weeks later Chuck called me as soon as he had a Mini that he thought would work for me. The Manager went to a auction and picked on e up for me that fit what I was wanting in the color I wanted and was not just a mini cooper but a "Clubman" and that was even better for me and my Cake Business. It was a 2011 and had 40k miles on it and a Mini warranty until next year. Chuck knew that I couldn't come in until after I was done at my business and made sure that when it was done with a all point inspection and detail he called me so I could come in and test drive it. It did not have a manual or another key but the price was perfect for me and they made sure I was not tapped in my budget so I could buy another key or manual. I ordered one from mini for $69 and then Fish called me telling me they had another key for me. I could not have been happier. After I bought the car, Another Chuck that has extensive knowledge of high end cars and use to sell Mini's took a hour of his time at closing on the weekend to get into the car with me and go over all the stuff this car did. It was simply amazing to me that someone that did not sell me this car, would be so wonderful and so nice and go so far above and beyond for a customer to make sure that I was able to utilize all this car had to offer. This to me was not only a true team and the only Dealership that was not pushy or hard core sales I had ever encountered. I can tell you that I will be bringing these boys cinnamon rolls from my diner for awhile and i will make sure to tell anyone that is the market to go see the Chuck here. Go anywhere call anywhere deal with the pushy car sales guys out there, then call Chuck fish and see the difference. If you can wait for whatever it is you want tommy will find exactly what you want and Rollie will be a blast to do your paper work with. This was an awful car-buying experience. I went in one day, signed a contract to buy a car, came in the next day, and magically the car had already been sold from underneath me. Minimum, I would've expected a phone call, telling me that they were not going to honor their contract and tell me to not come in. Instead, no warning, I show up and their is no car to buy. Their tactics in selling and doing business are extremely shady. DO NOT TRUST anything these guys tell you or try to sell you. They will do business behind your back and try to pull the rug out from underneath you. Very unprofessional, typical shady car salesman. STAY AWAY. I just bought an '06 CRV here and wanted to share what a lovely experience it was! They were open, informative, and just great to deal with overall. I LOVED that the car had received a thorough inspection and maintenance through them, including some important things like a new serpentine belt. Incredibly happy with the experience I had here. My boyfriend and I went in to look at a car here two weeks ago, we came in just as a start to looking for our perfect car. We were helped out by Raleigh who let us take the car on a test drive. When we came back he showed us both the carfax and another report for ratings of the car. Most small lots don't offer this, and get really pushy after test driving to make a sale. We then came back a week later to take it to our mechanic and make sure that this was a sound investment. The cars here are well taken care of and the staff is friendly. We sat at the lot a couple hours trying to get financing, our first offer was something we could not take advantage of. I purchased a vehicle in Spring 2018. They told me the vehicle was inspected thoroughly by a high caliber technician in their shop. The inspection report did not indicate it had any problems. The vehicle is leaking oil in the rear seal and leaking radiator fluid in the front seal. They would not reimburse me for the repairs. They also drove the vehicle quite a few miles after the purchase. Beware. read more

I was flat out lied about the condition of a car. They told me that car was checked by their mechanic and passed the inspection and there were no problems that needed to be fixed. I am from another state and arranged the car to be taken to mechanic before I drive there myself. Was lucky i did that. When mechanic called after inspection, he sounded shocked that I even considered inspecting that car. He asked me if I have seen it. As it turned out this car was in at least 3 accidents that were not reported, it's been hit in 3 different places. Paint job to cover it was of poor quality. Bumper was attached by zip ties. Two of sliding doors were not working. Warning light about tire pressure was on. There was quite a loud engine noise during driving, that mechanic told it could not be fixed. Camera didn't work. Lots of scratches. All repairs would take thousands of dollars. I am so thankful to the mechanic for the quality check. My main contact was Sno, who never mentioned anything. And one time I talked to Greg, who has a lot of good reviews here. He asked if I am sure I don't want to check it out myself first before taking it to mechanic. I said i was out of state and asked if there is anything i needed to know, but he just responded that it passed their dealership inspection. They just let me waste my money and time for no reason. By they way, I recently learned that I can check on Fakespot if seller's Yelp account has fake reviews and reviews for this dealership have grade C, which means a lot of fake reviews! If I had knows it then, it would stop me from calling them. but I was misled by 4.5* rating. read more

Meeting such smiling faces who were able to answer my questions and meet all my expectations felt to good to be true. Especially after having to buy a new car so quickly after a horrible accident. Of course I was right and there service provided has only added stress to my life. A month prior to getting the car I was broken down on the side of the highway. My whole engine completely failed on me. I had to pay for an expensive tow. And over $200 worth of work needed to be done on my car. I called and called auto right motors, considering I was out of a car for half of a week. The same person would refuse to talk to me always transferring me, no would would return my calls. It was impossible for me to get any information and a man on the phone said "well you bought a used car" like I was wrong to be upset a car I had just purchased from there establishment had left me stuck on the side of the highway. I expected to be treating with care the whole transaction of the car, I hadn't even picked up my plates yet. They however were done giving me any ounce of customer service they had left. HOWEVER, sometimes I feel I have bad luck and I took this loss with a grain of salt. Sometimes things happen with cars right? NOW this, a maintenance package I purchased at the value of about $800 is totally unable to be used. After being reassured over and over it would be honored at any Chrysler dealership. I called them upset yet again because I had to pay for an expensive oil change when I thought I already had. I brought up that I was the same girl who had called because her car was broken down and knew how difficult it was to talk to someone who can actually compensate me for all this inconvenience. He replied with "oh I thought that we had taken care of that I'm so sorry" of course he said he would call me back with information on a full refund for my maintenance plan. But yet again, never to hear back from them. Calling again today, hopefully someone will remember my name or to even call me back. read more

I went to see a car here and never checked the reviews before. I should have. All the positive ones are from previous years - this year they are doing not so great. Our sales guy was working so hard on not trying to be pushy ( well, he failed ) that sweat was dripping down his face. I totally felt urged and pushed, he was not leaving our side for a second and talked so much air that I just got tired of it. I'm in the market for a bigger car but there are plenty more places where I can make my own choices. I did not like the way he was downgrading all the other dealerships. Then came another man who 'took a look' at our possible trade-in. Well, he could not care less. I purchased a 2005 Ford Expedition in March from this dealership. When I drove the car it was nice but had a problem with the rotors being out of balance or needing replacement. I told them that would have to be fixed. They told me it only needed to be rebalanced and it would be fine (and that is what they did, or did they). I also noted that the backup warning did not operate and also needed to be fixed. I did purchase the extra insurance for any repairs with a $250 deductible. GOOD THING I DID! They would not reconnect the back up warning system because it cost too much and they said they would fix it if before I purchased the car, if I paid $250 deductible. WHAT!?! That is a piece of safety equipment. On June 30 the transmission went out on the 405 freeway, that would be 3 months after the purchase. I got in touch with the insurance people and they told me to take it to Ford of Kirkland instead of Lee Johnson Chevrolet (which is now the owners of Autoright Motors). The transmission had to be replaced. Plus they discovered that the rotor on the front of the car was down to the metal and that it appeared to have been balanced down to the metal. NICE BOYS! It took 2 weeks to get the car fixed and back. I was forced to rent a car 3 times due to the lack of rental cars due to the US Open which in the end cost me $948. The price was so high because all of the cars that Ford of Kirkland service department deals with had all of their cars rented out to golfers. I ended up with a car from AVIS in Everett that had bad brakes and then (wait for it) a cargo van from Enterprise. Finally after 10 days, the Enterprise in Kirkland got cars. I did not get reimbursed for the rentals or any amount of the rentals. Instead this company paid Ford of Kirkland. Not happy with them either! BEWARE of the vehicles on this lot!!!! The salesman I bought the car from was nice but lied through his teeth. There is NO way my vehicle went through any sort of good quality check. I am hoping that after this next repair, that I might have a vehicle that will be usable. To fix all the problems we have found we will be at about $3,500, so far. I spent $20k for a vehicle. I couldn't tell much difference in this dealer from any other. The car I was interested was priced well over book (even after the fake website markdowns that are on every car they have). They wouldn't come anywhere near book value and touted the maintenance that they had done. I'm sorry but a good timing belt service includes the water pump, thermostat, tensioner and idler not just the belt. On an interference engine that's just asking for trouble. The tires had a barley legal amount of tread left on them. They came down somewhere between $300-$400 and $150 of that was the optional document fee that I have never paid at any dealer. I made a fair offer based on combination of KBB, NADA and TMV dealer retail prices and also taking into account having to buy new tires, do a proper timing belt service and 90K service. read more

We were at our wits end looking for a safe,economical and verifiable reliable auto for our son.We had searched the "By Owner market" as well as many new and used dealerships. We found AutoRight Motors on Craigs List and made our trek to Bothell. It was well worth the drive. All their vehicles here were in great condition. We had several choices here that fit our criteria. We found an excellent Honda CRV with great mileage and great condition. The guys were wonderful to work with. No pressure and knowledgeable about what they were selling. Before you decide to buy from this car lot, don't. They're way over priced for the vehicles that they are trying to sell, just like the previous company that was at that lot. Knowing what was needed to be done to the vehicle, they were not willing to budge the price. The markups are more than double the value of the vehicles and certainly not worth your time. May as well go with a dealership and get a certified used with a warrenty for these prices. read more
