Such a fabulous service department and auto sales department! I bought my car there from them in 2015. I traded it in in 2022 for a RAV4 that I bought elsewhere, I had it serviced under the Toyota warranty elsewhere for a year. I was so excited to come back to Brooks Biddle service department for them to handle my RAV4! I called Chris, set up an appointment, just went there this last week they put in a new horn for me that I wanted (because I can't stand on the RAV4 horn), they put a new battery & checked my brakes, topped off all my fluids, changed my oil, changed my wiper blades, just at all around wonderful service department. -Honest. -Family Business. -Comfortable Buying Experience. I had a great experience with Ian and John at Brooks Biddle last month when purchasing my pre-owned Honda Pilot from them. It is a multi-generation, local business that sells many Makes and Models. (I'm making this distinction as they have a Suzuki sign currently out front.) They are currently doing some front office renovations (some by themselves DIY). I had done a lot of research on this model prior to arriving, so knew what to look for. I specifically asked to see this car from their online listing, as it was competitively priced in the market. You know how you traditionally expect to haggle and be bullied by car salesmen? It wasn't like this at all! With their one-price model, I didn't have to sweat through the haggling hassle that I expected of a normal car dealership. They were honest, and treated me with respect throughout the whole process. They weren't pushy about the sale, and they made me feel at ease the whole time. I felt like we could have chatted all day! They don't charge bogus fees (doc fee in WA state at the time of writing this review is $150). The car was in great condition (as listed), they gave it a car wash before I drove off the lot, and Ian went the extra mile to fix a key fab battery at no extra cost. Had a problem with my Chevy misfiring while drive home from the lake. Brooks Biddle was able to fit me into their schedule on Monday and up-front told me their diagnosis labor rate. They phoned me a few hours later saying my car was running just fine, so they stopped after .5 hours of diagnosis. They could have replaced my plugs and wires and charged me hundreds of dollars. Because they did not take advantage of me, they have won a customer for life. I will be taking my car, my wife's car, and my daughter's car to their shop for service. I came in to look at a truck advertised on the internet for $10,394 with a $200 negotiable documentary fee. The documentary fee was not negotiable, but I agreed to purchase the vehicle anyway. After making me wait an hour and a half we got to the paperwork. At this point the manager tells me the actual price is $10,627 a difference of $233. He offered to sell me a $2,500 extended warranty style insurance policy like he was doing me a favor. In their defense they didn't charge me for parking while I waited. Only posting 1/5 stars because it would not allow a zero. DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealer. I tried to wait to see if they would try to make this right with me, but we have been thrown through the ringer of excuses. In April, I bought a vehicle from this dealership and paid with a cashier's check. I purchased a full bumper to bumper warranty(5 years or 100k miles). I flew in from CA to Seattle, took a Lyft to the dealership, paid and started the drive home. THE SAME DAY, while we were on I-5 in Oregon, almost to the CA border, the car immediately ignited in flames, barely allowing time for my boyfriend and I to get out. Luckily, we didn't lose a lot of items that cannot be replaced but the items lost still cost money as they were things like sunglasses, a ring, yeti water jugs, clothing etc. It was almost dark and we were stranded on side of road and had to ride in a tow truck to the next town which was Grants Pass, OR and super sketch! Family had to come save us as we were 6 hours from home, plus the dealership was now closed and I wasn't able to notify til Monday. When I notified on Monday, I was given the run around about warranty not being submitted yet and to just contact warranty, they were sorry and glad we were okay. They were beyond insensitive to what we had just gone through. We had to walk to a gas station to purchase a phone charger to contact family for a ride and merely figure out our next steps. I have simply asked the dealership to reimburse cost for travel such as flight, Uber and hotel. As a business I feel it was the least they could do for an incident you usually don't see happen everyday. They have continued to just relay my request to management and have provided no help in this matter whatsoever. They have tried to put the blame on the warranty company and my insurance company. I understand Insurance processes take awhile but I'm out a few thousands from the trip out there and items lost. Their customer service is absolutely HORRIFIC! I am warning you in case you have to deal with something wrong after purchasing your vehicle, they will not help guide you or help make it right for you! I came into this dealership preapproved for a loan with my bank after several hours of being there from 9 AM to 1:30 PM we kept running into problems when they tried to run our credit even though I was already preapproved with my bank. Long story short I believe they were trying to raise the interest rates and make me pay more I ended up leaving and going to a different dealership in Federal Way where I was in and out of that dealer within 2 1/2 hours. I will see that the sales personnel are very friendly but when it came down to the finance and all the rest of the paperwork it seem like they were just trying to have me pay more. I purchased an Acura TL from this dealership back in March. Not long after purchasing this vehicle, I found my brakes/steering wheel to be very shaky while driving, I contact the dealership, the salesman that sold me the vehicle, Oz, was of very little help, as he just passed me to his boss, the owner of the company...the owner calls me back by the end of the day, after explaining what was happening, he proceeds to tell me that it sounded like the rotors were warped, and that the brakes were changed prior to selling the vehicle...he was absolutely not interested in trying to diagnose or resolve the matter, so I took my car down to my mechanic the following day...I attached a picture of his diagnosis. I spent over 2K dollars total, on top of 10K when purchasing this vehicle for repairs (which also includes timing belt, alignment, tie rods), so this leads me to believe they have extremely shady sales tactics to get you to bring the car back to them to "fix it" or they're mechanics are not properly trained and complete incompetent on how to do they're job. This is the exact reason why I should not have purchased anything at a used dealer...and to bring attention to they're horrible repair shop, please do yourself a favor and avoid these people. I just want to finally mention, when I did speak to the owner about the problems with the car, he insinuated it was my fault the brakes were going bad by slamming on them causing them to warp...bottom line, I don't expect these people to even respond, they certainly didn't try to rectify the situation when they had the chance, and even going so far as to blame me. Anyway, I got hooked up with Jack, one of their salesmen, and he was awesome to work with. I have next to no time in my schedule for this type of thing and Jack made the whole thing easy! We were able to work out almost all the details via email due to Jack being so sharp, flexible, and responsive. For instance, I wanted to upgrade my wheels and sent Jack a little snippet of some wheels I liked. He went so far as to find those very wheels and get them installed on my truck! He also noticed that there was an issue with the radio ... and ordered a new one without me having to notice or ask. Let me tell you a story: My brother's car died. Not important, but this is why I was looking at a truck- he can't afford to buy one due to COVID layoffs, so I was helping him out. He and I saw the ad one night last week for a truck that would be perfect and affordable, so that he could get back to work immediately. It was at Brooks Biddle Automotive in Bothell, near where I lived. The next morning, I get up and head straight down there. I meet with a salesman, go through the truck and was offered a test drive. I hop in and take it for a drive for about 10-15 minutes. I get back, call my brother, tell him this is perfect and we agree to buy it. I head inside and talk with the salesman some more to arrange a purchase. As per standard, I make a cash offer on the truck and he disappears in back to review it with his manager. 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me he can't sell it to me. Seems that the owner's son sold it while I was out on my test drive. The salesman apologize for this, as he said he was wasting my time, and I leave. My only comment was that this whole event was exceptionally unprofessional and disrespectful. As I am pulling out, Ian Biddle, the owner's son, comes out to my vehicle and tells me how he sold it to his friend, and how he and his friend do favors for each other, and that he should have told everyone on the floor and on the internet (it was still posted for sale on-line when I got there) and so on- lots of canned justifications... I tell him that it doesn't matter; I've still been treated badly and that he has poor ethics and no professionalism. He then offers to "make things right"- he'll find me at least as good of vehicle, offer me a more than fair price on it and make his errors good. I say that would be appropriate and give him my phone number and email address. That was about a week ago. He's contacted me a couple of times and offered me trucks. None were as good of condition, all had at least 3 times more miles, none had as good of accessories, and all were more money (when miles, condition and options all factored in). A couple of them actually sounded good when he sent me the specs, but when I asked back what the price was (he didn't send price) he responded that they were already sold, so it didn't matter. Ian has shown his true colors- He has none of the ethics and community responsibility of his father, but I guess that's what happens when you inherit the family business. He has shown that he has no remorse for selling a vehicle out from underneath a local customer, screwing his own salesman out of a well-earned commission, and then only going through the motions to make it right (simply because he only wants to give the impression, but not actually go through the full actions). As a life-long resident of Bothell/Kenmore I have always wanted to see local businesses succeed and grow. Now I see why Brooks Biddle lost their Chevrolet dealership and why they are trying so hard to sell their land to Sound Transit. If Ian is the future face of this auto dealer, I weep for his father and grandfather as their legacy is doomed to die a slow, miserable death. read more

Chris Crabbe in service is a LIAR! My tail light was leaking water, I showed chris and a mechanic, chris said he'd ordered a new lens under warranty. I would check if it had arrived weekly, he'd tell me it was still on order (LIE). After a couple months my warranty was up. Tail light was never ordered, warranty paperwork was never written up, and I got screwed. STAY AWAY, UNTRUSTABLE, LIARS, YOU LIAR!!!!!! This business has to be a front. I couldn't get them to sell me a car. First I attempted to negotiate the price and requested delivery of the vehicle. I was told that it was the very bottom price, but no problem with delivery. They advertise that they deliver. 2 weeks later, I saw the price was lowered to the price I originally attempted. I called and said that I would now give them their asking price, but delivery needed to be done at a fraction of the distance (originally 60 miles, now only 20 miles.) I was told, "sorry, we are too short staffed to deliver ". I gave up and bought the exact same thing from another dealer that was much further away, but he delivered the very next day! read more

I cannot say enough great things about this dealership. And I'm sad to see so many poor reviews. My husband and I came to this dealership after struggling at another to dealership. I went in with a Ford Focus in mind, I was able to test drive it right away, no huge sales speech. I loved the car but it was a little out of my price range, and they don't negotiate much on price because they don't have a huge mark up and their prices. Knowing that we went back into the salesman's office and looked at what they did have in my price range. He didn't push to sell me anything just because I wanted to buy a car. There happened to be another Ford Focus on the lot just 2 years older than the one I went in to look at. I test drove that one and was in love. I knew it was the vehicle that I wanted to purchase but I wanted to have the night to think about just because I've had a few bad experiences at another dealership. There was no high pressure sell, if we wanted to come back the next day that was perfect, if not, that was cool too. We went back the next day and signed paperwork for the vehicle, as well as having a stipulation that it was subject to any major mechanical issue, meaning that we could back out if there was any huge issues with it. Just got it back from our mechanic and it's perfect! No issues whatsoever and I couldn't be happier. Danny was our salesman and I can't say enough good things about him and Brooks Biddle. read more

So I bought a car there this week (without looking at Yelp first, my bad). It was the right car for the right price, and I assume it will work out just fine. Yes, there was the normal soul-cringing experience of dealing with used-car salesmen (yes, literally all men). Condescending and smarmy and long high-pressure sales pitches about expensive warranties we don't want. I could probably live with that... not really sure who does it much better. But... While waiting for financing to go through, the salesmen were sitting at their desks, about five feet away from my 7-year-old daughter and me. One of the salesmen loudly goes off: Who does Obama think he is! I mean, is this guy Prince Obama, or King Obama, or Dictator Obama?! My daughter looks up at me, confused: President Obama? Salesman, continuing rant: I'd say it's more like Hitler Obama! Now I could point out how it would make more sense to say 'Adolf Obama,' or 'Barack HItler," but I think these kinds of details are probably lost on people who's best way of articulating their [favorite radio talk show host's manufactured] political views is to compare someone to Hitler. We strolled in to look for a car on a Sunday afternoon. I was enjoying the fact that the sales guys weren't all over me like a Vulchers. One guy who was busy with another customer pointed us down to the shack. The internet sales guy couldn't be bothered with us and said a salesmen was on his way. 18 minutes later the sales guy drove up. We picked out a nice truck that had just arrived on the lot to test drive. After the ride the sales guy cajoled us to come inside and see if we could make a deal. I presented a low ball offer which was still well above book value for their truck. They came back with 6k over book for their car and 900 less than wholesale for my car. YEA we decided to play games too... We sent offers back and forth then we were out of there. One week later I called the sales guy after seeing the same truck on their website for less than their final offer. I called the sales guy and he had no recollection of who I was. Have had multiple dealings with this dealership, non satisfactory. First, we called ahead to verify availability on a used car we wanted to check out and possibly buy. They said it's here, come look. We came, the sales manager had the car out for personal use all day so it had never actually been available, let alone on the lot. Then we tried to purchase a TrailBlazer SS. They told us there was no way they could get financing done at the down payment and monthly rate we needed. Told us they got immediate denials and needed more down payment. We couldn't make that work, so went to another dealership a month later and bought a TrailBlazer SS at a great rate through a local credit union without any such issues. Most recently I took that TrailBlazer SS in for service, as Biddle is the nearest place and actually rated well for some reason. I gave them a list of issues, including priority. They told me the 2 main issues they couldn't duplicate (and I have since verified they are not fixed), and instead spent 2 days focusing on unauthorized repairs to a minor issue they still didn't manage to fix. After being threatened with over a thousand dollars in labor charges if the warranty didn't cover it, I decided to tell them to stop and just give me back my truck. After picking up my truck I discovered a dime sized door ding scratched down to bare metal. They said it wasn't their fault, it must have happened on the lot, and that's just like getting a door ding in any parking lot. I will never bother trying to use any of their services again, and cannot recommend them for a car or service. They also never respond to email. They even sent me a survey in email that asked if I was satisfied. Obviously I am not, but they never responded to that one either. read more

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience at Brooks Biddle. We originally called about a truck we saw on their website only to learn that it had just been sold. Dan spoke to us about another truck they had just gotten in though, with really low miles. We decided to go take a look at it. Both the interior and the exterior were really clean, but it was just a tad over our budget. They said they couldn't come down much since it wasn't really marked up to begin with. We said thank you and left. A few days later I noticed that the price had dropped just a bit. My boyfriend called to ask if they would be willing to drop the price just a tad more to meet us at our max budget. I think they realized we were REALLY interest so they agreed and we headed down there that evening. The application process was as usual and both Dan and the owner, Jim, were extremely nice. What really made the experience great though was that the next day we noticed the truck was shaking a bit when giving it gas. My boyfriend called them and they opened a spot up immediately for us at their mechanic shop to take a look at it. Within 48 hours they had found the issue, and fixed it completely. Normally I would see the issue as a red flag since I haven't found many honest dealers, but I believe this incident really may have just been a fluke since they were extremely apologetic immediately fixed the problem and made sure we got a good running vehicle. I would highly recommend Brooks Biddle, and I know we'll be coming back to them next time we need a new vehicle! read more

Hmmmm.....just a couple weeks after we bought this truck we had a serious thumping issue with a rear tire. Despite having the tire attended to the issue has not resolved. (By the way, the mechanical inspection report for this truck noted the same noise but was "resolved" upon rotating the tires.) In addition, we have had the check engine light come on and had a $500 repair as a result. We've owned this 2007 truck three months. I suppose my common sense should have kicked in when we bought it. Yes...I know. 5 stars for a used car dealership? Here's the thing: my wife and I got exactly what we wanted. We got a darn good car at roughly $1800 under book. (NOTE: Although he had the opposite experience of us, Gabe M.'s review here is super helpful. Thank you, Gabe! ) We were never in the market for a comfortable car buying experience. Our expectations going in were low. It was nothing against Brooks Biddle. It's just that such is the nature of used car dealerships (scorpion and the frog, ay?). All things considered, our experience was pretty decent. We did a bunch of data-driven research beforehand: Car Gurus (which pointed us to Brooks Biddle in the first place), reading reviews on the car model, Yelp reviews, visiting other dealerships (and reading their reviews too), etc. We had Scott M. help us. He was far less pushy than other car salesman we've interacted with. We appreciated how he gave us our space and let us discuss things. We took our new purchase to a mechanic to have it independently inspected -- all was good. We got what we came for. Simple as that. If we are in the market for another car, we would consider Books Biddle again if they had the model we wanted. read more

I went here because I saw a car online for a great price that met my needs and budget. Jeff the sales guy was pretty nice, but then I got handed over to the finance guy (can't remember his name) but he was a complete Jerk, was extremely rude to me and was trying to get me to buy the car for more than the price advertised online. I wound up buying the car and getting the internet sale price which was lower than kelly blue book and anywhere I looked, but dealing with the finance guy was completely horrible!!! After buying the car we went on vacation the next week and the finance guy called me telling me he needed some refrences right now! I told him we were out of town and I would get them to him when I got home, well he showed up at my neighbors house and told them all my personal info about my credit and what I bought the car for and everything!!! plus told them he would take the car back if I didnt get him the refrences right away. When I got home we had only been home for a couple of hours and he showed up and was yelling at my wife and I, so I told him to leave my property and I would bring him the refrences within a hour or too....he refused to leave until I gave them to him!!! I was just amazed at how crazy this guy got when it was him that forgot to get the refrences in the first place, he messed up and went crazy on us for it! Not only that but I saw on the attorney general's website this dealership has Sold over 20 "lemon" cars with out telling the buyer the car had a "lemon" title!! Questioning why there's even good reviews on here. The salesperson we had honestly wasn't helpful at all. I honestly don't think he knows anything about cars. I mean if you're going to be a salesperson at least know a little something. My boyfriend came there looking to trade in his car and get either a Honda or a truck. We got there and wanted to test drive the Silverado right when we got into the car no gas literally light on. I was like hmm do they not check up with their cars at all? Then after test driving the Silverado we ended up getting into the Honda saw the tire pressure light was on already. We loved the car overall. Sat down with our salesperson to go over possible car payment options. Told my boyfriend let's just think about it overnight considering reading all their reviews and it just seemed like they didn't really care much about their cars and I didn't want my boyfriend to end up with a broke down car after we got home. Next day came back decided we wanted the car so my boyfriend was already pre approved with becu and we told them to trade in his car it would be an extra 3000 on top of the car we wanted because the loan and how much his car was worth difference. We were fine, the Honda we wanted was 16000. 3000 on top gets you to 19000 and of course we knew the tax and license plate would be on top which we were fine with. Our salesperson comes back saying payments will be 300 something for 7 years . I calculated it and everything added to 28,000 . So we were like ugh why is it so pricey where did all this extra money get added on from. Apparently becu denied us and they found a different bank with an 11% interest rate you must be kidding me. I told the salesperson sorry but if we're going to spend that much we might as well but a completely new certified car off another lot that'll be worth it then the salesperson says it's only 28,000 over 7 years. HAHAHA. What a joke he wouldn't even have spent that much. read more

Wow, I'm really surprised by the reviews I see on here concerning Brooks Biddle. I have only experienced the Service side of BB, and I am pleased with the result. Dave and Chris are nothing but professional and honest. I've had all of my Chevy Trailblazer regular service done here, and have been pleased every time. I usually wait for 5-7K miles on my truck before having an oil change, and every time I feel confident that the work has been done competently and professionally. They know me by name and car when I call to schedule an apt. I can only hope that the sales side of BB is just as reputable and respectable. A guy named Scott helped us, told us he would call us back next week about the price on the car and when it'll be done. He called us back a week later and told us that the car was ready and the price is set to be at $9,700. My dad drove to them ready to pick up the car and then Scott randomly added an extra $300 charge that he did not tell us about until my dad got to their dealership. He's nothing but a liar and wasted our time. These people that call themselves "businessman" are nothing but liars. I wouldn't recommend going to this place at all. Overall I was very happy with my experience with Brooks Biddle Automotive. I found the car (a minivan, woot!) online that I wanted, and went in for a test drive after work. I was greeted promptly, shown the car I was interested in and we went for a test drive. The vehicle was in good condition, low mileage, well maintained. I was given the Carfax without having to ask for it. All of the employees were kind and professional, they were nice to my kids and even answered my son's endless questions. I feel like I got a good deal and am happy with my purchase. My only complaints would be that they took a while to send the payoff check on the car I traded in, and the "free" car wash was terrible. And it would have been nice to be sent off on a full tank of gas, rather than one gallon. But, overall I am happy and I would recommend this place to my single lady friends--I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. read more

Their pricing is above market value, and when asked about the price we were met with "we're not going to come to an agreement here" and chased off the lot. Ran here first to check out a Honda Accord I was interested in, that has low mileage and a great price. When I walked in Dan offered his services. He jumped on his computer, got the car info, grabbed it and brought it for me to test drive. He stood there looking at me strangely and said....are you sure you can test drive this? I didn't understand why he was saying that until I realized somehow I missed that this was a MANUAL. Which I can totally drive...when I don't have a boot cast on my foot!! I was super bummed, so he took me for a drive in it to get a feel for it, but with yet another surgery pending...I just can't get a manual car right now. We looked at a few other things, he talked me into test driving a Corolla....but after he worked so hard to pull it out for me, I had my kids jump in the back and it was WAY too small. So unfortunately there wasn't anything there I wanted to try. He was very courteous and helpful, just wasn't in the cards for me to find something there this morning. Don't have anything bad to say, it looked pretty beat up inside the building though, plant looked alittle rough...lol But my girls liked the convertible red corvette! read more

Biddle sold us a lemon I purchased a Subaru for our family from Biddle this September. After going through this experience, I would caution everyone against this dealership. The next day after driving the car off the lot, the engine light went on, and blue smoke began billowing out of the back of the vehicle. Upon bringing it to a Subaru shop, I was informed that the car needed a $2,000 repair to the exhaust system. It is clear that this was a long-standing issue with the car, and the mechanics were shocked it was a recent purchase. In their opinion the engine warning light had been turned off recently. This implies that Biddle had misrepresented the car; and possibly were dishonest and fraudulent in their dealings. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I contacted Biddle by phone and in writing asking if they would cooperate in addressing the issue. Biddle was unwilling to take action, though provided me with a quote to fix the issue at my cost (giving us a $50 dollar discount compared to independent quotes). Attempts to reach the department manager, Jim Bucy, and president, John Biddle, about this issue failed. At best, Biddle has shoddy customer service and does not stand by their vehicles. At worst, they are dishonest and fraudulent in their dealings with customers. Thanks to Biddle, I now have a car that is virtually un-drivable for our family with a new baby from the day after I purchased it. There were also minor issues with the car which a dealer should have noticed and fixed - for instance, there was no coolant in the vehicle, only water. Please stay away from Biddle. read more

TL/DR: In my opinion these people are jackals who only want your money and are willing to go to any length to get it even if it means harming you and your family's financial or physical well being. Drug dealers have more honor and integrity - Always have an independent mechanic do a thorough inspection, NEVER take a dealerships word for anything and make sure they put it on a lift. Also good idea to take it to a body shop and have them look at it from their perspective. - NEVER sign anything until the mechanic you trust gives you a green light (ask them for their opinion on the value of the car too.) - Carfax is worth barely more than the paper it's printed on, take everything with a grain of salt. Carafe & Autocheck are good to tell you what's been done but it won't show you the dogs that don't bark. Sheet metal doesn't lie, people do. Always get it checked by a reputable mechanic YOU trust. This is your money, your safety, your quality of life, treat yourself with the respect and care you deserve. - Compare pricing from at least following sources KBB (what the dealer wants you to go by, it's published by the dealership's trade organization and incredibly biased with inflated prices), Edmunds (Your best friend, they give a rolling weighted average of what the car you're looking at is actually selling for in your area), NADA aka Black Book (used by a lot of insurance companies), and spend the $6.95 to subscribe to Consumer Reports online and get their opinion. They're going to give you a 'don't buy above this price' and let you know potential problems to look for as well as unbiased information. They crunch data. They're there to advocate for you the buyer. Found an SUV I'd been looking for for a while. Listed as no accidents, clear carfax, excellent condition, low miles, hybrid. First red flag: Lot is asking $3000 over book Went up to take a look at i. I'm an insurance adjuster BTW so I like to think I know cars fairly well, especially damage. I give the car a thorough once over, tires are new and matching, all the glass is marked from the factory, no curb rash on wheels, no corrosion, wipers good, lights, gauges, switches, everything checks out. Take it for a quick test drive, so far so good, brakes are taut, car shifts wonderfully, no weird sounds. Tell them I want it pending check out by a mechanic of my choosing. Start talking price. 2nd red flag: Ignoring or undermining credibility of the book values. I send them information from the above mentioned sources saying their price doesn't reflect the value of the vehicle in question for this market. Even given the apparent good condition of the car it's still way overpriced. They come down to a more reasonable amount but still on the high end of book. Now remember, book value is on a car in good or excellent condition. Not a wrecked car. On the surface car looks immaculate other than a couple superficial scratches. 3rd Red Flag: Sales person starts undermining taking it to a shop to get checked out. First they say their car has been checked by 132 point ASE inspection. For all i know they had guy named Ace point at the truck 132 times and after having done so everyone agreed that it was in fact, still a truck. Next they didn't want to take the truck to the shop I found nearby to inspect the truck. BTW thank you to Doc's Automotive in Bothell for saving my bacon. Highest regards and I found them on Yelp. I live 60 miles away. If you want me to buy your car, you're gonna take it to a shop I picked out that was 10 mins away from them. Then the guy balks about he's not sure if they can legally do it, why don't I use his shop. Nope, my shop or no sale. Then they say they're going to sell the car to another buyer if I don't take it or at least put money down. Fine, I put 1/2 the down payment down on my card and they take it over to the shop. Lo and behold the mechanic finds a laundry list of problems including: - leak where water can and has gotten into battery compartment - car had been in a serious rear end collision also in and around hybrid area, they found damage underneath car that instead of being fixed had been freshly painted over to hide corrosion from where it hadn't been properly repaired implying that the lot KNEW about the problems and were still advertising the car as otherwise but with just enough plausible deniability to get away with it legally. - Host of other issues, shop said don't buy it. No problem, pulled the deal. So, if the car had been inspected why wasn't the damage noted, actually repaired and the price reflective of that? Since someone had taken the time to cover up the damage instead of properly fix it, someone had to have known. And if you really didn't know, you lied about the inspection. So either way shame on you and your whole organization. I hope everyone reading this boycotts you. Predatory organization like you can go to hell. Btw, still haven't gotten refund of deposit because excuses. read more
