Back in May I bought a gift certificate for my son so he could have his van detailed. It's a Mercedes Sprinter, and it's his only transport as it's equipped with a lift and all the stuff needed to accommodate his wheelchair. I had searched all of Spokane for a detailer who would tackle such a big vehicle, and finally found The Spokane Shop. I was a little concerned when I found the place was located behind a home in a garage, but it was the only place I had found who would take on the Sprinter, so I plunked down a substantial amount of cash and went for it. Fast forward to late August when we finally got the van free for a couple days and brought it in. The guys were super friendly, and cautioned me up front that it would take a couple of days because the vehicle was so big. I had pretty high hopes when I looked at the sports car all shiny out in front of their place, and hoped they would give that degree of detail to an old wheelchair van. Well, it actually took two and a half days, but when I saw the finished product my jaw dropped. This van has NEVER looked so good! It was stunningly clean and waxed, and they had hyper cleaned the interior. They also threw in a headlight polishing (that wasn't included in my package), and tail light polishing, and replaced two interior light bulbs that were out. And cleaned the filter on the rooftop AC unit. None of that was part of the original deal, yet they didn't charge me any extra. They wanted to show me what they'd done, they were so proud of their work (and deservedly so), and yet they were also very respectful of the vehicle. These guys are awesome! While road tripping across the US on my motorcycle, I noticed that the clear coat on my bike was scuffing from my bags touching it. I came here and the guys in the shop gave me some clear wrap protectant to put over my paint. For them to help out a stranger passing through speaks volumes. For anyone in the area deciding between shops, I would choose this one simply because of the care and customer service they show a stranger, Im sure even more so for customers. When I picked up my new 2020 Telluride I knew the only place I would trust with it is The Spokane Shop! The shop is clean, everyone is very friendly and they get your vehicle in and out without sacrificing quality. I originally scheduled an appt to get the front windows tinted but then wanted to see what the vinyl wrap would look like on the chrome grill - Kon said he would be able to do that at the same appt. He recommended getting the windshield done as well (didn't know you could do that) I trust him and said lets do it!! When we picked my the truck it looked better than I expected - Nick's work was impeccable! I will be making another appt for Nick to wrap the rest of the chrome. The window tinting was 5 stars, but the customer service was 3 stars, hence an average of 4 stars. The reasons for the downgrade: When I walked into the shop, the employees and owner barely looked up from their work and didn't even welcome me. I was treated more like a nuisance than a paying customer. I also asked for some guidance on the internal workings of my windows, knowing they see way more window motors than I ever will. This request was brushed off. Finally, after I picked up the car I found that they had left wet steel wool on the carpet, which left a rust stain. Obviously the most important thing is the tinting, which looks great, but just don't expect great customer service. Also, when you're researching online reviews, note that they give free movie tickets to people who leave Google reviews, so they get tons of reviews and naturally people give inflated ratings because they're getting something in return. This is basic psychology, and while it's a great business move, it just needs to be pointed out that the Google reviews are likely inflated as a result. read more

I launched a plethora of questions at the Spokane Shop and all were answered thoroughly (and patiently). After getting a quote, the reasonable price coupled with the great reviews on Google led me to make an appointment. The work was easily scheduled at my convenience. Accommodations during the work were A+ and the work was done on schedule and at high quality. I probably wouldn't take a brand new car here again. Two things turned me off - they chipped the paint on the inside of the door and put a promotional decal on the back window. The ceramic tint is fine - doesn't block as much sun & glare through driver side window as I had hoped. Friendly and accommodating guys but performance doesn't match price point. read more

Really, I give The Spokane Shop a 4 1/2 star but it won't let me do half. I took my 2010 Kia Soul in there to get the 2 front windows tinted and a full detail, inside and out. The inside of my car was kind of trashed, I had some old residue from when some anti-freeze froze (I know, anti freeze freezing?) and exploded all over my car. I was not able to get the residue off and I tried for a year. It also had dog hair, everywhere. The inside looks brand new and looks amazing. No residue or dog hair!! Truly very impressed. The tint is also amazing and matches my 3 back windows perfectly. The outside detail looks very fresh and clean, I am enjoying my wheels very shiny. The only complaint I have and really it's not a huge deal is little, minor attention to detail things. Like a couple spots on the inside window that I was able to wipe off, a few corners on the inside that had some old grime that I was able to wipe away. Stuff like that. But again, the car looks brand new. One other little thing was lack of communication, I dropped my car off Monday morning and was expecting to pick it up Tuesday morning. I called around 830 on Tuesday to see if I can come pick it up and was told that it is not done and may be done closer to lunch time. I hadn't heard back so I called around 12 and was told it wasn't done yet either. Ended up picking it up Wednesday morning. Wish I knew in advance so could have planned out my transportation better. But, again overall I am very pleased. Would recommend The Spokane Shop to friends and family. Thank you to the shop for the magic they did on my Roxy (my car's name). read more

Absolutely great experience! In previous years I have used businesses such as Aspen Sound and Sound on Wheels. I would rate The Spokane Shop first out of the three. The reason behind that is customer service based. Calling them was easy, great time opening for appointments and hassle free. Second the tinting process took no more than 3 and half hours. Super friendly and nice and had no issues. The shop where they tint is SUPER clean and organized which is huge because in my eyes it shows they have experience and know what they are doing. At the end they gave me a free water bottle and cleaning spray for my windows to clean. Overall amazing experience! A+++. Don't use the other shops where they are over priced and make you wait for weeks to get an appointment. You won't be disappointed from the Spokane Shop! Great tinting!!! read more
