Then, after paying $250, I was faced with a tip machine starting at 15%. Why on gods earth would anyone tip a percentage for anything other then the restaurant setting. I've had many good experiences at the spa ritual. The last time I went will be the last time I go. I was 6 week postpartum and had a lot of pain still in my lower back and hips. I went in excited to get it fixed and have some relief. This time I ended up with a therapist that couldn't use as much pressure as I needed which is why I signed up for a therapeutic massage in the first place. I asked twice to use more pressure I gave up since clearly they couldn't do what I needed. I wanted to say something at the front but no one ever asked how my massage went then they sent me a survey I filled it out as I did now and never heard a thing. Big cost for a massage to not get what I asked for and to never hear from anyone. read more

This is my 3rd visit and will be my last. Lovely space and beautiful, relaxing ambiance. The prices are comparable to other spas. I treated my 2 daughters for massages and facials. What a rip off. The 60 minute relaxation massage for $145 no longer includes the 5 minute scalp massage that is typically part of the massage. If you want a scalp massage, you are charged an additional $35 but NO extra time is added to the 60 minute massage. Likewise, the facial does not include the usual lip moisturizer. Not even a swipe of Vaseline gets slapped across your lips. If you want lip moisturizer, again, there is a $35 charge for the Luscious Lip Contour treatment, which is some bogus collagen-boosting BS. I paid for 2 massages and 3 facials equaling over $800 and had to dig around in my purse for a lip gloss afterwards. I get it, spa treatments are a luxury item, but wanting to indulge in an occasional splurge shouldn't mean that I get treated like a total sucker. No thanks Spa Ritual. read more

Spa Ritual in Crowfoot, Calgary NW. This review should have been posted about 6 months ago, sorry. The facial was pretty good, the pedicure also pretty good and the most comfortable chairs ever! The massage however was horrible. I had the most stressful massage. In the last 15 years I have had at least one massage a month or more. ( I know, I'm very lucky). I have a very stressful job as a broadcaster, and often stressful days, so massages are not only "needed" to keep my high stress level down, but wanted as well. The massage therapist was polite and proper, as soon as he started working on me, I felt his hands were shaking ... and I literally mean shaking, ( nervous perhaps? Hungry, maybe) I'm not sure but I don't think it was my job to figure out why his hands were shaking- but it make me feel so bad and it stressed me out so much that I had to get up ( literally) and end the massage after about 10-12 minutes- maximum, no I'm not kidding. No relaxation, none, nada, wala, zero, keiner, kanenas, semmi, nessuno, ebos-eum, zaden. When I started shaking as a result of him shaking - the nervous, horrible energy he gave off- that's when I got up, I told him I was really sorry, got up and walked out. I didn't know what else to say to him. It was my last treatment that day, I went straight to someone who worked there and asked for a manager to meet me in the changing room. A very polite woman met me shortly as there was no manager that day, to listen to what happened. She apologized and said she would meet me at the reception. She was only one person I could discuss this with, I asked her for a gift certificate for only the massage, by then it was then 15 min after the massage had started. I told her I got up not because I wanted to but because I "had" to. I told her that the rest of the services were were good. She told me she was the 3rd in line from the manager, said she could give me a 15% discount off the massage. I was shocked, we had spoken at length about what had happened, and I was being offered 15 percent, yes 15% off of 190.00 for a 90 massage ? That day I had a booked and had - a purifying facial $135.00 and a "ritual spa pedi" $115.00 - the massage for 90 min for $190.00. The bill for all three services was over $400.00 - I asked her if she could call her manager or the owner- she called someone, I asked who, she said the manager/owner... who was ( off the premises) and was happy to say she could give me, 20 percent off the massage, she was sorry but that all she was allowed to give me! Spa Rituals prices are really expensive, I expected the best services, and a relaxing happy experience. I certainly expected at that point not money back- but a gift certificate for the ( massage only), I wanted to go back to try the spa again - the woman apologized and she was sincere - but no gift certificates could be given, nor money any extra refund. She was happy to give me- 20% less for my massage. Needless to say after the relaxing pedi and the pretty good facial- I was upset. The calmness evaporated. Had I been treated properly, I live about 20 min away- I would have been a "forever" customer. I was looking for my new go to spa - as I'm new(ish)to Calgary. I'm a very loyal customer, always going back to the same place. As an aside, I had/have my "go to" Spa in Montreal that is amazing. I will do a review soon, about the SPA ST. JAMES (Montreal) the kind, caring, very smart business woman, owner 'a name is Carol- I was a loyal customer for at least 5 years or more. I only went to Spa St-James at least 3-4 times a month for massage, facials, facial treatments, pedicures ( Tanya for pedi was amazing )etc. Carol the owner and her son makes sure their clients are happy and leave relaxed with a smile above all, that's what is important to her. You really feel you are way more important to her than money. By the way her or her son are always on premises. However at Spa Ritual I was stressed out at the end of my afternoon there . Yes, they got $190.00-less 20% from me, but was it really worth loosing a new and potential returning client? I'm not sure only the owner knows the answer to that question. Maybe they have such a large clientele that they don't care about one person, but they should. I was promised a call back to discuss it with the owner. I didn't want to discuss anything I wanted a gift certificate - to compensate. I even said that I'd be happy with a gift certificate for 150.00 then I went down to 125.00 - No, it wasn't possible. Yes they got my approx $190.00 for the massage (less 20%) but they lost me forever. Spa Ritual is a beautiful place- actually stunning, very clean, and truly very zen. A lot of money went into decor. Gorgeous spa, not my favourite. A friend of mine and I went for facials just before Valentine's Day and we very excited to try out this gorgeous Spa near her place. The Spa itself is absolutely amazing. Locker rooms are equipped to the nines and the robes are fantastic. I think my biggest issue from the get-go was that the lady doing my facial seemed upset with me when I said I thought I was getting a purifying facial versus hydrating facial. I honestly didn't care either way, just wanted to make sure I was getting the best one for my skin. I'd only had one facial before and it was years ago. I remember the experience being very gentle and relaxing. My estetician didn't inform me of any of the products she was using, what she would be doing, when she would be doing them aaaaand my legs got exfoliated. My legs were scrubbed and moisturized but I was totally unprepared for leg action since I was booked in for a facial :S. Legcial. The face creams and lotions came one after the other, the towel was too hot at times and I could hardly breathe through the little nose hole provided when my face was wrapped. I was never informed when there would be something cold or hot, it was just go time. I wasn't prepared for the extractions having never had them before. The light was terribly bright and my eyes initially weren't covered very well. Then when they WERE covered, she pushed down very firmly on my eyes with the eye pillow. Overall, she just wasn't very gentle. The whole time I kept thinking "Is she mad because I thought I had a purifying facial?" Massaging? She's amazing at it. Seriously, best cranial, shoulder, neck, back massage of my life. Her not-so-gentle hands were definitely welcome in the massaging department. Afterwards, I got a mini lecture about how extremely dehydrated my face was with no mention of what I could use or what SHE used only that I should NEVER have a purifying facial. If you're going to tell me my face is "extremely dehydrated" either hook it up to an IV or tell me what I can do to help. Obviously I'm someone who has no idea about skincare. I seriously know more about Motorcycle maintenance than I do about skin. My friend was a little pissed because they advertised on their website that there would be chocolate smoothies, etc for couples' treatments during Valentine's Week and when we show up, there are crackers and water. One of the best places to go in November and December when you need to use up your Health Spending Account. Your $150+ for a massage will also get you access to a plush change room with showers and an infrared sauna, as well as "ergonomic" (supposedly) heated stone recliners (though how relaxing can reclining be when it's right beside the "cafe" area?). Decent beauty products in the change rooms too, though it's disappointing that they only have three scents of massage oil (choose the grapefruit-mint unless you want to smell like chicken curry- that's the ginger one- or your grandma's sweater- that's the lavender one). I've only been for massages, and they've definitely underwhelmed. You're getting the spa experience, not necessarily massage "therapy" (although the services are performed by RMTs and you can get an insurance receipt). During my first massage the therapist didn't even ask me about the pressure or my comfort level. Had he asked, I would have said that the "deep tissue treatment" I was supposedly receiving needed to have about four times more pressure. My second treatment was a different "ritual"- hot stones this time- and while at other places I've always been asked what kind of pressure I'd like, here I was almost "forewarned" by the therapist that it would be "light to medium pressure". I didn't feel comfortable constantly asking for more pressure, so I just resigned myself to getting the benefits of relaxation without necessarily the muscle relief I'd been hoping for. This was our first time at the spa ritual and it far exceeded other spas and definitely our expectations as well. The ambiance was lovely and the massages were even better! We had the couples massage in a special room with heated massage tables and the most amazing masseuses ever. They didn't talk our ears off, we're gentle yet firm and had great talent. This will definitely be our next stop at a spa for a while! The only knock I would say was the difficulty in booking the couples room. I had to call several times and couldn't book it on their website other than that, a plus service, ambiance and spa :) We will be back! read more

I have tried most of the larger spas in Calgary. The Spa Ritual is definitely my favourite for several reasons: the waiting room is far from the reception so you do not hear any noise. The second you walk in you are provided slippers, and guided to your locker where you can slip on a luxurious robe. Then you make your way to the waiting room, which is not overly busy, so there's rarely groups of guests talking loudly in the wait room.The warming chairs in the waiting room are a great way to unwind before a facial or massage. I've only tried massage and facial services at The Spa Ritual, and every time I am fully satisfied. After your treatment is over, you can go sit in the eucalyptus steam room or shower and try out the line of lemongrass scented shampoo and body lotion. I was in Calgary for work from Toronto, and in my hotel the Where magazine told me about the best spas in the city. Am I glad I came here. I have never had a better spa experience in my life! The atmosphere was wonderful, relaxing and beautifully decorated. I would never forget the experience, and looking to one day going again. It was a little hard to find inside the mall plaza, but I didn't really expect much from the place until I got there. I had a royal bamboo massage, and they rubbed hot bamboo sticks long my back. Tucked away the Crowfoot Crossing complex in the NW, once you step through the doors you're instantly transformed into a Thai inspired escape. As always, I arrive early to my massage appointments to take advantage of the amenities the spa has to offer. With specially made tea and delicious crisps/crackers (the banana nut flavor is my fave!) in hand, I make my way to the Bali Sanctuary (where there are heated stone loungers and tranquil music) lay back, relax and enjoy my snack. I have been here twice. Once for my birthday massage and last weekend for a 90 min facial. This place is very clean and extreme well kept. The staff are polite, efficient but not rushed. I love the modern change rooms and they offer slippers and a bathrobe upon your entrance. You can place your belongings in a coded locker for safety. While sitting in the lounge, enjoy tea or infused water and a few nibbles- crackers or fresh fruit. You will be greeted and ushered into your treatment. My skin is sensitive so I explained that I once had an Aveda facial that was horrid and it nearly burned my skin. This lady was attentive and not chatty and really took the time to apply the right pressure to make me feel relaxed. I felt fabulous! After we finished, I lay on the hot stone chairs for about 30min to just enjoy the quiet and warmth. It was truly zen with the music and ambient lights. After a shower, I was ready to leave. Almost feel like I should have tipped more than 18%. My norm is 15% for services but they were super! I will return for sure read more

Worst Massage EVER! All of these 4 and 5 star reviews had to have been paid off to say great things, OR have never had a good massage in their life. Sure the establishment is nice and clean, but I'm not coming for the tea and cookies and to inspect the dust! when you pay top dollar $$$ you expect a top massage. The therapist literally JUST rubbed cream into my skin. No pressure, no skilled massage maneuvers, no skill at all. Like when your kid rubs sunscreen into your back! So why didn't you ask the Therapist for more pressure? I DID, and there was virtually no change. Did you say something afterwards to the manager? I was so unimpressed and mad, I just wanted to leave. Plus all of the receptionists that day seemed as though they just ate a sour lemons. The next day I wrote directly to the manager explaining my experience and asked them to call me to discuss, but I never heard a thing. So I wrote THREE more emails, and I STILL never heard a thing. Amazing experience. I've been to a lot of spas in the city and this one is so wonderful. I went in and had an hour massage with Hayley - it was excellent. The whole building is gorgeous, clean change rooms, excellent lounge area with hot rock chairs. The hostesses are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Very disappointing experience with cancellation policy. As a customer you have to give 48 hrs notice, otherwise they charge your credit card if you miss your appt. But, when they phoned to cancel our group appt (one of their therapists was sick) - there was no compensation for our group of 3. We couldn't rebook because of work commitments, thus we all missed our spa appts. There were no vouchers given to compensate, and 1 of our group had even taken the day off work so we could all go together. No manager called to apologize. Very poor customer service. Will not go there ever again. Also heard from a former therapist there that this spa does not give their therapists a break between appts. read more

I was a first time client to this spa and I must say how terribly disappointed I was with my overall experience. I'm a Professional and Certified Esthetician with over 12 years of experience. When I called to book my appointment the lady on the phone told me 4:30pm Tuesday afternoon. I knew you were located up in Crowfoot but unsure exactly where. I tried calling several times only to get a voice mail and then my cell phone battery died. I then stopped at 7 eleven in Crowfoot to get directions to your spa. When I got there were no clients just 2 girls at the front talking to each other. The phone was ringing and the one girl reached over (which I imagine puts it to voice mail) I told her I wanted to check in for my appt and was promptly told my appt started at 4:15pm. She didn't say anything when I replied that I was told 4:30pm. She handed me my medical form to fill out and sign. I completed it quickly and returned it. I was taken to the back room and told to wait beside another lady. Then 5 mins later I was showed the changing room for my robe and then told to come out to meet the girl doing my facial. I came out after changing and met the girl who was nice and friendly. She told me we would have to cut out some things because of the lack of time. I told her I usually got a facial every one or 2 months and she started my facial. I realize that everyone has a different style and has been trained differently, but in my opinion she could have been more prepared and then not been so rushed. Instead of letting the steamer heat up while applying my cleaner, and toner she waited until so did all the steps and then turned it on. (Which takes about 5 mins or longer) then wet the cotton pads for my eyes so that they don't fall off while having the light over my face. My eyes were watering the entire time, as the light is quite bright when shining directly into your eyes. I always quite enjoy the massage portion of the facial massage, but today I didn't at all. It was quite different and wouldn't consider it to be a massage at all. More just pushing on pressure points on my face. There was no neck, shoulder or arm massage just pressing on my face and head? Sorry, I found it wierd....the facial was very quick and I felt ripped off and disappointed after paying 135.00 for a not even half a facial. She never explained about what products she used or how it would benefit my skin type. She also didn't know I was also a very experienced esthetician. Then what topped it off again for me was I went out to pay and again saw both the girls just standing there again ignoring the phone....and had they been answering it I would have been there at 4:20pm instead of driving around looking for the spa. They should have also told me right away that I would not have my full time for my facial service. I did have a spa finder voucher for 75.00 USD, which I only got cad value for....again not receiving full value of what I should have received for it; especially considering the difference of the dollar values right now. I left frustrated and unhappy. I sent an email to the management, and received NO Response back. Beautiful Spa; however hugely lacking in Customer Service Skills and extremely over priced even with Spa Finder! I won't return for this exact reasons. read more

I am a long time returning customer to The Spa Ritual in Calgary, and I am not sure if there is perhaps an ownership change happening or what - but this place is not what it used to be. I am not a habitual complainer - this is one of the first negative reviews I have ever written! But my visit was such a wast of time I would like to help others avoid the mistake of visiting here. As always, the ambiance of the main facility itself is lovely - and the heated stone beds are amazing. But you would likely be visiting here to receive a spa treatment, and that is where it goes horribly wrong! I was visiting for a 90-minute relaxation massage, and this is what happened: 1) My treatment room had something wrong with the lighting - so the only option was blinding, bright white light. When I inquired about the situation, I was told there was a problem with the room and they were waiting for an electrician to fix it. So - they knowingly booked a treatment in this room with full understanding that it was not acceptable. 2) As soon as the treatment began, the relaxing music stopped. I asked the massage therapist if she could turn it back on - she said she couldn't because it was controlled by the main system. So for what remained of the treatment I laid there listening to the clicking of the HVAC system, people walking and talking outside the room, etc. Not relaxing at all! 3) The massage itself was not like any other massage I have every received - and I am a spa enthusiast! There was a lot of poking, jabbing, and flat handed patting/rubbing that did not even remotely resemble a massage. I very much perceived a lack of experience and training - she didn't even know how to drape properly. I asked her to use more pressure, but the tickle fight just continued. Half way into the treatment, I couldn't take it anymore, and I politely informed the therapist that I would like the session to end. She accommodated my request and escorted me back to the change room. 4) The worst part of this whole ordeal was perhaps the attitude of the front desk staff, and the "host". When I first went to the check out, they started to proceed like everything was OK (as in getting ready to ask me for payment) even though they could see I was standing in front of them 45 minutes before my session was to even end. I then politely requested to speak to a manager. A rather snotty woman appeared from the back and informed me with no apology or expression of regret for the experience I just had that they would "waive the fee THIS time". Like she was doing me a favour. I kept my cool and inquired about the experience - again it was confirmed they knew before they sent me into that treatment room that it was not acceptable. And she did not appear surprised when I asked about the massage quality. Overall I am very disappointed, and further frustrated that as a repeat customer no consideration was given at all. Apparently wasting my time today was not at all of concern to The Spa Ritual. read more

My girlfriend and I thought we would spoil ourselves and go to Spa Ritual. We both chose to get a pedicure and manicure. This place is beautiful inside with dark wood working, it feels very calming as soon as you walk in. We were greeted right away by this gorgeous woman at the front and she had us fill out history forms, then took us to the waiting area. We waited a little while before we were greeted by the women working on us, with waters for us and taken to their pedicure area. I noticed that most people were wearing robes and slippers, but we didn't get them. Apparently there is a steam room that is complementary for guests, except people getting pedicures and manicures. I get that it is probably because of the nail polish, but we were paying just as much as anyone else! I had the lemon grass pedicure and manicure. They have a good variety of polishes. The woman working on me was very nice, she srubbed a bit too hard, but gave a great foot and leg massage! When it came to painting my toes, she didn't seem to have a great technique. Again with my manicure, she gave a great hand massage and did a good job grooming my nails. I requested the french polish and she did not do the greatest job, it wasn't entirely straight. They don't have the polish dryers. We were brought tea while we waited for out polishes to air dry. My services cost $160. Spa Ritual is a beautiful place, it does have a nice relaxing atmosphere and I think they take pride in that. The cost of services here is reasonable compared to other spas, but the quality of services wasn't quite up to par for the price. I have been to a few of the larger day spas in Calgary over the past year, and I would say this one is probably my second favourite (next to Stillwater). The change rooms are great, featuring an infrared sauna as well as numerous rain showers, and they have great heated stone chairs out in the main waiting area that you can relax on before/after your service. Ive had one facial and two 90 minute therapeutic massages here. The facial was pretty good, although it was my first time having one and I think I was expecting more because I didn't really see much of a difference with my skin afterwords. I am in my 20's so my skin is still fairly good, but I still was expecting coming out feeling like I was glowing... but I just felt the same, with a few red patches. But, the redeeming thing about this spa was the massages. Both times I had FANTASTIC girls, I cant remember the first girls name, but I had Kaitlyn this time around and she was WONDERFUL. I received a gift certificate for this spa. It took a few attempts before someone answered the phone in order for me to book my appointment, and messages were not returned for several hours. On the day of my appointment, I woke up with the flu. I thought it best to try to change the appointment, but they said that I would be charged anyway. Finally had a chance to try out the Spa Ritual, but sadly, I think my expectations were set too high. I think it is considered one of the better spas in Calgary and with the prices being charged, I think maybe I had expected just a little too much. The pricing is similar to some other downtown spas and, as I elaborate below, those facilities offer a bit more in terms of amenities. However, my esthetician was really great and would be one of the few reasons I would go back... and they take wayspa cards...haha! Pros: - Overall, the spa is clean and appears to be well-kept, but this could be due to the fact that it is a newer spa (compared to some located in older buildings). - Nice decor and ambiance; it is decorated in what I believe is supposed to be a Thai/ Asian style. The heated stone loungers were appreciated, as were those delicious banana bread crackers!! - The infrared sauna was great! - My esthetician was awesome - professional, polite and knowledgeable. The product used is a great quality line and I appreciated that she gave me some options where possible (i.e. more extractions vs. more massage). Cons: - Maybe it was because our appointments were one of the last ones on the weekend, but the ladies bathroom could have used some work. There was also some towels that had stains on them. - The ladies change/ locker room is quite small with just one small bench for the locker "section." - Showers are drafty, as the doors are more like stall doors. - Not a fan of the lemongrass scented toiletries... - No steamroom, no jacuzzi/ hot tub, etc. - Lounge/ waiting area isn't very large and I could see it getting kind of "crowded' had there been a few others waiting at the same time. I was a bit disappointed that the complimentary refreshments didn't have more options. Again, I say this keeping in mind that other spas in Calgary at similar price points that offer various teas, biscotti, cookies, fruit, etc. for the lounge area. One thing to note for anyone booking appointments near the end of the day: I noticed that they will mention (both at the time of booking and when checking in) that you are the last appointment of the day...aka they are closing once you are you done, so they would prefer you use the facilities (sauna, shower) before your service. That's fine and totally understandable but just tell yourself that there is NO need to rush as there is only one person at the front desk checking everyone out and so you will end up waiting in line for 10 minutes anyway.. ;) Just relax, take another cup of tea, and saunter over when you're ready. read more

I went here for a girls spa afternoon. We all got the lemongrass pedicure. Justine was very good; she's also done a facial for me the past. My feet are very soft now. I would totally come here again. It is pricey but it is worth it for the relaxing, luxury ambiance and bonus of not smelling chemicals like most nail salons in the city. read more

My husband surprised me with a 90 minute therapeutic massage for my 30th birthday!! It was my 1st ever professional massage!! I was so excited to go and experience one and I have to say it was better then I hoped!! The atmosphere of spa ritual is exactly what I needed!! I'm a mother of 3 and the calmness that you feel as soon as you enter is fantastic!! The robes were soft , my therapist was nice and welcoming and the massage itself was so calming and relaxing!! It felt like a few hours not just 90 minutes!! After the massage you can just hang out in the lounge area or warm lounge bed area and drink tea and eat biscotti!! Also cuz it was my birthday I got a free smoothie which was delicious!! I stayed and hung out enjoyed the sauna and finally took a nice shower before I left! I've been going irregularly to The Spa Ritual for about three years now - the last appointment I had on Saturday will be my last and I will not be returning. After gradually declining satisfaction with the services provided the last facial destroyed any hope of returning. For an hour facial at a steep $150 I expect not to be endlessly quizzed about what my current skin care regiment is, repeated told "you doing great!", "good job", etc while I'm having extractions done, blinded my the light with the protection on and my eyes squeezed shut and to be chatted to for the entire time. The point of having a facial is to address concerns and relax - the exact opposite of what I received. The "Hydrating" facial left me dryer than what I was when I came in and with three pimples that weren't there when I arrived. Icing on the cake was when she tried to sell me over $100 of product at the end of the treatment. When I go for facials, The extra's are just that extras. I don't usually pay attention to the time but, for going in to the room 5 minutes late with 5 minutes of her reviewing the process of a facial (I've been there before) and then the 5 minutes of sale time at the end - that 15 minutes could have been put to better use. The "pressure-point massage" missed the mark - literally - she didn't find half of the points and the "pressure" was non-existent. I might have gladly paid for a jr. or apprentice facial at maybe 1/2 the price for what I received as she was very clearly inexperienced. read more

Booking here is a nightmare. We booked online, clicked "confirm" when we received an email, and STILL we were not booked. We showed up and were turned away because the fine print said they needed a credit card to confirm the appointment. We rebooked, showed up, tried to pay with a gift certificate, and were told the payment on the gift certificate never went through and we would have to pay by credit card. I don't know what the deal is with their online system but CONFIRM EVERYTHING BY PHONE is all I can say, or prepare to be repeatedly disappointed. Furthermore, I had a manicure and it was nothing different than what I can get elsewhere for $20. My husband had a treatment and felt it had been pretty transactional, not really a spa experience. Take your money and head to Banff Springs if you want to treat yourself is my advice! read more

I went for a mother daughter day and we both got pedicures. When I booked the lady did not tell me about the teen pedicure option. It was shorter than my pedicure and it was a little cheaper. The lady did leave my daughter in the paraffin wax for at least 20 Minutes. I did get the paraffin wax as well. But I added the shellac polish. This added an extra $25 dollars. There were a few other ladies there the same time we were. I noticed they had their legs massaged. And more time was spent taking the dead skin off their heels. After only 2 weeks the skin is still dry. My advice is this "spa" is way overpriced. I could have spent $60 at Walmart and gotten a better job. Not worth $300 in my opinion. I called and asked what facial would be suitable based on my skin concerns. The lady said the medical peel. I booked for the 30 minute ($110) medical peel. They did 5 minutes (said I would have to work up to more time, which they did not specify over the phone when I booked). The rest of the time she spent putting creams and oil on my face. When I went to pay, she said I owed over $200. When I told them my appointment was for a medical peel, she said the esthetician actually performed a different facial and it was $195. Not only did I not consent to this, there was no mention that she would be changing my facial from what I had requested. There was no manager on site and they said they could not change the price. I had to pay for what the esthetician performed. This was the first and last facial I will ever have at this place. What a complete rip off. read more
