Great spa! Natalyia was fabulous- one of the top massage therapists I've had. Found exactly the areas that were bugging me and worked them.

Anticipate lack of cell phone connection or service. We're in the wilderness. Must register for Kananaskis Conservative Pass online prior to arrival. License plate required. This will serve as your online parking pass depending on type of vehicle arriving in and number of days needed. See email confirmation for more deets on sign up and cost. We brought only one automobile for a day at $15. Start as early as 9 AM. Bring or wear swim attire and refillable water flask. Locker, robe, pair of slippers, towels, and waterproof wristband are included in the package. No outside food allowed. Phones are only allowed in two areas to respect privacy of others 1) waiting area upon first entering, prior to check out 2) inside the restaurant, Two Trees Bistro. Enjoy the hydrotherapy for free - hot, cold, rest, and repeat if you have a scheduled massage therapy session. My personal faves were: 1) Steam Cabin: Alchemist with cold plunge 2) Steam Cabin: Eucalyptus with cold plunge. Able to detox in both rooms and sweat a lot. 3) Exfoliation Room - use bath salt provided in a closed container that's in your locker at the end. I disliked having to see dead bug turned over while I'm standing or sitting in both the hot and cold pools at different times while trying to unwind and relax. What a turn off. Later on, a male employee stopped by to clean the pools. I want to relax and reflect on the beauty of nature. I didn't sweat much even though Cabin Sauna and Forest View Sauna are hot rooms. Facials were missing as part of the spa experience. We enjoyed reenergizing lunch in our robes at Two Trees Bistro. Please see separate Yelp review. Couples massage session was the best! We each had our own licensed physical massage therapist for deep tissue massage. They were amazing in removing all kinds of knots, tension, and pain from head to toes. We were able to finish all the sections for every hot and cold pool/plunge by 3:30 PM.

Wow, wow, wow!! Never been to a Nordic spa before, but this was an awesome experience. We came here…read morethe day after a 10km race in Canmore. It was definitely a great way to end the weekend. I was so impressed with the entire experience. From free parking to check in behind the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I loved that you get your own locker, sandals and robe for the whole day. Plus all the towels you want. There was one very cold pool, and 4 large hot pools with varying temperatures. As well as two steam rooms and two saunas. There was also a quiet room with lounge chairs. I loved the one sauna that had a glass wall that looked into the forest. Perfect temperature and so relaxing. There were also cold outdoor showers, hammocks, so many lounging chairs and two fires to enjoy. We also enjoyed the restaurant for lunch which was delicious. I had a pesto chicken sandwich with beet chips and a glass of wine. It was a bit pricy but it was very good. We finished the day with a scrub in a steam room and then a shower in the change rooms. It was the most wonderfully relaxing day. I can't wait to come back again!

When we enter the spa it is lovely, clean and smell amazing. We checked in and all went smooth. We…read morehad a 60 min massage it started 9 out by 10. My massage was amazing! Jenifer was absolutely perfect masseuse. When we checked in we were asked to choose out " breakfast" on our itinerary it said breakfast i was expecting breakfast. But our choices were brunches and everything was spicy of some sorts srirachas Etc. My sister and I have stomach issues we can't eat any spice so we opted for a charcuterie board and we split it between the two of us. There was a lot of stuff on the charcuterie board but nothing you could possibly eat for a "breakfast" it was more of a brunch with no breakfast food. We left most of it behind as we couldn't eat that for breakfast as our first meal of the day. So we were out of our massages by 10:00 we were allowed to go into the hot tub but there was a sign that said you could only be in the hot tub for 15 minutes so there's 15 minutes taken up, but then we still had to wait till 11:30 for some food i don't know about you but as an older person I have to eat before that. So what do you do while waiting for any type of nourishment in a spa. We decided to ask for our meal sooner than later so that we could leave when the charcuterie board arrived we just looked at each other thinking there isn't anything we could possibly eat on here for breakfast. We ate the grapes and a couple of crackers and left the rest which for $58 for two Sparkling Waters and one charcuterie board that was very small i just didn't think it was worth the money. So I feel that if you're going to go to a spa get a great massage and possibly a meal that is deserving of a spa for that much money go somewhere else where your money goes further. The price of 175 for a massage and 58 dollars for food not edible for breakfast plus tips close to 500 for 2 ppl it wasn't worth it to me.

Atmosphere: amazing, clean and modern. Has several different rooms like a cafe lounge to have your lunch. A serenity room which is a super cozy place to just lay back and read a book after your massage. A waiting room with amazing assortment of snacks such as mixed nuts, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, homemade granola. They also have an espresso machine there. There are around 15 masseuse working the day I went because the place was very full in the waiting lounge which was a downside. They have a steam shower in the ladies room and a hot tub which I love! I wish there was also a coed one for me and my husband to meet up and hangout in but i can live without that. Don't even bother bringing your husband here this is the best place for YOU time. I did a whole 6 hour spa day here. Moisture drench body treatment - amazing! Fell asleep. A therapeutic massage Also great! A moisture drench facial - TOP NOTCH the girl had the best massage techniques I've seen. Seriously still water spa should sponsor meeeeee!!!! I can't say enough good things about it.

I enjoyed Lakeside Spa, for the most part. I thought the couples massage was decent; our massage…read moretherapists were pretty good. The room itself was very classy, with a fireplace and ample room between the tables. Unfortunately, the resting headpiece (laying face down) was a bit uncomfortable due to how small the opening was for your mouth. I was a bit miffed that there was literally nowhere to place or hang your things in the room. Also, there is no locker room, just two single person change rooms for dressing/undressing. There is no shower or sauna. I did not appreciate having to go home with oil on my body and clothes. The lobby was okay...there was "reading" material and cucumber/lemon water. It wasn't very relaxing though because of the bright light and visibility coming from the mall through the glass walls. Just a minor nitpick, though. The receptionist was nice; benefits went through okay. For the price, it's pretty good. I just wish their facilities were a bit more inviting.
