We replied. Show up for our appts and they have no record for an appt for us. Didnt seem to care at all. Said come back tomorrow. Well, we cant just come back tomorrow, we are on tour. We wont be in ur city tomorrow. VERY disappointing as now searching for a same day massage appt will be a difficult to find. Customer service gets a zero.

One woman spent a truly bizarre amount of my session rubbing my ribs and my left kneecap - I am not kidding, it was just beyond strange. Bright sides: the space is nice. But I can understand why it's always empty.

The…read moreprevious owners never notified clients and the spa was just closed for several months with no communication about scheduled appointments, etc. I was grateful that my gift certificate was honoured by the new owners. I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.

Fantastic experience!…read more I contacted Why Knot via Yelp for a same day appointment for my husband and me that afternoon. Allison got back to me quickly and booked us for 5:30 pm. She also kindly gave us parking tips. My massage was with Sandeep who was incredibly strong and knowledgable. He gave me the deep tissue massage that I was looking for which left me feelng wonderfully relaxed. My husband raved about his masseuse, Konstantin. The price for each was CAD96 plus tax for an hour which felt very fair given the high quality of the massages. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, my last visit was incredibly disappointing from an ambiance perspective. A neighbouring client talked loudly for the entire hour, which completely disrupted what should have been a relaxing experience. For a massage clinic, a calm and quiet environment is essential, and this felt more like being in a busy cafe than a spa. I hope Apex Massage can take steps to better manage noise and set expectations so future visits are as relaxing as the treatments themselves.

I've been coming here since it was opened and a massage here never disappoints. I usually get Gary and he's so good with his pressure and the fluid motion of his massage helps me relax. He also recognizes points that are tight and works out those knots. What I love about this place is the service, quality of massage and the setting. This place looks into the river and it's very quiet when you walk in. You don't hear the therapists talking away and that's what I don't want when I'm in a session. The service is one of the best. You're greeted in the waiting area with some slippers and a warm towel infused with a lemongrass scent to wash your hands. They add on about $75 worth of extras for free including hot stone, heat lamp, full body wash, aromatherapy, a bunch more and the newest addition is cupping. With this cold making its way through my system it's exactly what I need. Now onto the massage, I like deep massages and they get it right here. You can request the pressure when you fill out the form in the waiting area, along with the extras (free) that you want, and show them the areas to focus on and avoid. I always leave this place feeling better than when I arrived. What makes a massage good for me are; pressure, hand strength of the therapist and how fluid their motion is on my body. Some I've had elsewhere feel choppy and just not right. I've had reflexology, acupuncture and feet massages here and those were amazing as well. I love a long, good feet massage. The only thing is I always regret not booking for 90 mins!

The Staff are considerate & friendly, thank you to Kamal & Hamda who are professional not pushy. Thank you to Breanne for her knowledge, awareness and wonderful massages! I would highly recommend adding some aroma therapy its a lovely touch and the music experience needs some consideration, when the music stops, starts and continues to do this it interrupts the flow of the massage and the mood! One final thing your bathrooms need more attending, when I was there last night the bathroom I used smelled like urine and the seat was broken and had urine all over it! So maybe some anti bacterial wipes in the washrooms would be handy for the clients to sanitize before using, but overall I am happy with the friendliness and massage!
