If I were to give any areas to focus on for improvement, It would be the conversation level of the other therapists in the break room. They were pretty loud but, Freddie's massage more than made up for that. Lastly, the light directly above the table was really bright. I would suggest moving the table so the face is away from the light or add a freestanding lamp and turn off the overhead lights. But again, five stars go out to Freddie!

He was patient and caring, explaining everything in an unhurried manner as he treated me, and allowing my husband to video the maneuvers so he could replicate them afterward. He also provided me with exercises to continue the treatment at home. I felt much better after my session and continued to improve in the days after. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Hoover. He really knows his stuff and offers treatment in a kind and very knowledgeable way.

Conveniently located all in one location I can get all my health concerns addressed by Dr. McKay and then any necessary prescriptions filled right away while I wait. I don't have to go offsite to have my prescriptions filled by another pharmacy. The pharmacy does a yearly prescription/health review and they are always available to discuss any questions I have. They are always pleasant and remember my name which makes me feel cared for. They always seek out the best options if affordability becomes an issue which being a pensioner I very much appreciate. In addition, I can't speak more highly of Dr. McKay who has been my medical practitioner for several years now. I used to live in the Somerset area when I first met her then moved across town to Bankview. Even though I have to go across town, I would never switch because I am looked after so well by her and her staff as well as Robert's pharmacy team. If you don't know what that is, I suggest looking it up before you agree to go ahead with it. It's not acupuncture, but uses the same needles. I have been abusing my legs with cycling and the first time she did the treatment I was not prepared for what it entailed. When I left I wasn't sure I would come back! Through the week I did the stretching Barb told me to try and took a couple days off from cycling. The third visit (second IMS treatment) I was surprised how much better it worked for me. I think my first visit I was in bad shape and my body reacted to the treatment. So I do recommend this place and Barb. She was very knowledgeable and really attentive. Plus they have early weekend appointments. The one downfall is they don't direct bill to insurance providers other than Alberta Blue Cross.
