I have been going to Massage Addict for almost 2 years now! I continue to see the same massage therapist Breanne who does exactly what my body needs to repair my muscles and physical wellness! The Staff are considerate & friendly, thank you to Kamal & Hamda who are professional not pushy. Thank you to Breanne for her knowledge, awareness and wonderful massages! I would highly recommend adding some aroma therapy its a lovely touch and the music experience needs some consideration, when the music stops, starts and continues to do this it interrupts the flow of the massage and the mood! One final thing your bathrooms need more attending, when I was there last night the bathroom I used smelled like urine and the seat was broken and had urine all over it! So maybe some anti bacterial wipes in the washrooms would be handy for the clients to sanitize before using, but overall I am happy with the friendliness and massage! A very good massage by Cherryl Balceda who has a natural assuring style while getting at deeper tissues and helping ease the client's aches with knowledgable talent. I left feeling very good, and was glad to connect with someone who is less coldly clinical and business-like than experienced at Massage Heights. Worth the extra drive to feel truly attended to at the Sunridge locatioin. We will return so that my wife can avail herself of Cherryl's skillful hands and possibly consider for their one-year program. The surroundings that look professional, very good beds, mildly cool rooms, and the music less new-agey with very suitable piano or symphonic music all invite clients to relax and enjoy, or groan inaudibly when tight or sore muscles protest. Their offer of a first-time $55 massage is quite decent. Now to the downsides. The front staff are accommodating but lack some professional skills. They seemed much less interested in pleasing the customer than spending time in the staff room together. Not bad; not good. As well, there were no membership plan materials at the front desk or elsewhere. Hence that they are not ensuring that people are gently encouraged to return, that, as any good business owner knows, helps determine success in a competitive field. With these provisos, I can heartily recommend Cherryl at the Sunridge shop. read more

I can honestly say I have always had great massages at Massage Addict. I have lived in Calgary since 1998 I have worked with many Massage Thearpist and had many massages. The key to this type of business where they have many Therapists is to try every one of the Thearpist, and then decide which Thearpist, is the TYPE of Massage Thearpist YOU like. I personally like relaxation massage. But I also need Therapeutic Massage as well. I have MY favourites and I know which ones I don't enjoy. This really will help when your dealing with any company who have many people, that do the same service. I do not believe you can make an educated decision about Massage Addict after seeing only ONE Therapist here. I really love being able to book on line with the Therapists I want, at 22:00 from my bed. I like how friendly and pleasant everyone is, how they call me by my first name as I walk in the door. They actually try to be old school personable. That is hard to find these days. Most of all, I love my massages. It is my go to place. I work in a physically demanding job and massages are apart of my personal care program. I like how I can get a massage any time of the day. How they bill direct and and I do not have to bring my purse in. I like how they have this membership program and that lets me get my massages at a lessor rate. This extends my insurance coverage so I can get more massages. Needless to say I really do love this place. Sometimes you just have to make the call for yourself. I did and I am so happy I did. I've been going to Massage Addict Sunridge location for a few years now and can say that I've had some of the best massages ever there. You need to try a few different RMTs there and see which therapist is the right one one for you. I just had Dean M treat me and honestly that's who I will be asking for every time I go from now on. He suggested stretches I should do to help with my neck and shoulders throughout the week. My mother-in-law who will be undergoing hip replacement surgery this year saw Frederick C and he was amazing with her as well. He has a background in physical therapy so it's exactly what she needed. She will be going back to see him before returning home to Ontario. I moved the the NW of Calgary about 5 months ago but still chose to go to this location. It's worth the drive! read more

I went here on Saturday afternoon and despite the fact that they have a nice new building they seemed very dis-organized... The woman that gave me my massage had extremely bad breath... And the next day my neck still hurt even worse than it did when I got there's. read more

Went in with my husband covered under his insurance 100%. For some reason there was a problem with my submission in regards to the spelling of my name. I told the front desk I will not go in until its rectify. My husband was already in since he was schedule 30 minutes before me. Someone who I assume was the manager came to find out what was the issue after being told she said go in get your message we will put it in as paid and call the insurance tomorrow. I said okay are you sure because I know I am covered just sumed it up as a glitch today. Plus I did not want to be stuck with a bill today which i did not cater for even if i knew i will be reimbursed but we were on vacation and our budget was well planned. Against my better judgement I went in in the process of having my massage my husband came out. First question he was ask there is an issue how are you going to resolve it?????? After I was told to go in and the insurance will be called in the morning. My husband just said we will pay the bill just give me the reciept. Thought it was shady and very deceitful if she had initial told me about paying upfront I would have wait and call the isurance myself then rebook my appointment. This left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Suffice to say I won't be visiting there again. read more

I went in today optimistic about my appointment because of the reviews about massage addict. I unfortunately was not impressed with the service from beginning to end. Before the massage I was asked which areas needed more focus so I explained it was my upper back and shoulders. During the massage none of my knots were even attended to and when I asked for more pressure the lady told me pressure is not good and said no, I felt the same way leaving as I did coming in pain wise. After my massage I went to the front desk to pay. The receptionist asked me to take a seat while she was submitting my insurance. Meanwhile the phone rang and I heard her say "what in the hell is it now" and was twirling in her seat while she was talking on the phone. My massage ended at 2:30 and I didn't get out of there until 3:10 waiting for my insurance to be submitted. On a plus side the hot stone was relaxing but over all I was definitely not impressed with the service and will not be recommending to anyone. read more
