I went in on Jan 6th for a massage with Jasmine. My regular therapist was fully booked, so needed to take what I could get. Will never make that mistake again. I was asked what needed to be worked on and I was very specific, seeing as I am also an RMT and have been for 8 years. I specifically went in because busy season had just ended, and I was in alot of discomfort. After having to give multiple directions during the 30min I was on the table, I still wasn't getting what I needed. She had absolutely no clue how to use any decent techniques when it came to adhesions or trigger points, which are very common issues and should easily be addressed in a 60min deep tissue..her lack of differing techniques was astonishing. I was getting sore due to her repeating the same stroke over and over again with her elbow, and finally asked to stop and said I wanted to leave. She didn't even care, was basically like, okay sorry, and left the room. Didn't even try to make it better, or attempt to work through what I had asked for. I then proceeded to the front desk and asked for a refund. They said they would only refund me for half because I received half. Basically on the verge of tears at this point, I was so flabbergasted by this statement. I received 30min of pain and suffering and had to pay for it. I left in so much discomfort, and woke up the following morning to bruises along my spine. The customer service was deplorable. I have had one other bad experience like this before at the same clinic and it's as if they don't even care. If you're going to employ a manager, it should be someone who has the basic knowledge of massage therapy and is friendly with customers. But someone who talks down to you and literally says sorry, but they need to protect their therapist first. YOU DON'T HAVE A BUSINESS WITHOUT CLIENTS. I left shaking and crying because I was left in a horrible physical state of discomfort. I have emailed the owner twice since and have yet to receive any type of communication back. I will continue to email until the situation is properly dealt with and I am properly compensated. The care of your clients should be your utmost priority. I understand that you need to properly compensate your therapists for work provided, but when you have someone standing in front of you on the verge of tears saying they were treated so horribly, you should put that above everything else. Period. That's proper customer service. read more
