Jenifer was absolutely perfect masseuse. When we checked in we were asked to choose out " breakfast" on our itinerary it said breakfast i was expecting breakfast. But our choices were brunches and everything was spicy of some sorts srirachas Etc. My sister and I have stomach issues we can't eat any spice so we opted for a charcuterie board and we split it between the two of us. There was a lot of stuff on the charcuterie board but nothing you could possibly eat for a "breakfast" it was more of a brunch with no breakfast food. We left most of it behind as we couldn't eat that for breakfast as our first meal of the day. So we were out of our massages by 10:00 we were allowed to go into the hot tub but there was a sign that said you could only be in the hot tub for 15 minutes so there's 15 minutes taken up, but then we still had to wait till 11:30 for some food i don't know about you but as an older person I have to eat before that. So what do you do while waiting for any type of nourishment in a spa. We decided to ask for our meal sooner than later so that we could leave when the charcuterie board arrived we just looked at each other thinking there isn't anything we could possibly eat on here for breakfast. We ate the grapes and a couple of crackers and left the rest which for $58 for two Sparkling Waters and one charcuterie board that was very small i just didn't think it was worth the money. So I feel that if you're going to go to a spa get a great massage and possibly a meal that is deserving of a spa for that much money go somewhere else where your money goes further. The price of 175 for a massage and 58 dollars for food not edible for breakfast plus tips close to 500 for 2 ppl it wasn't worth it to me.

Atmosphere: amazing, clean and modern. Has several different rooms like a cafe lounge to have your lunch. A serenity room which is a super cozy place to just lay back and read a book after your massage. A waiting room with amazing assortment of snacks such as mixed nuts, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, homemade granola. They also have an espresso machine there. There are around 15 masseuse working the day I went because the place was very full in the waiting lounge which was a downside. They have a steam shower in the ladies room and a hot tub which I love! I wish there was also a coed one for me and my husband to meet up and hangout in but i can live without that. Don't even bother bringing your husband here this is the best place for YOU time. I did a whole 6 hour spa day here. Moisture drench body treatment - amazing! Fell asleep. A therapeutic massage Also great! A moisture drench facial - TOP NOTCH the girl had the best massage techniques I've seen. Seriously still water spa should sponsor meeeeee!!!! I can't say enough good things about it.

I've been coming here since it was opened and a massage here never disappoints. I usually get Gary and he's so good with his pressure and the fluid motion of his massage helps me relax. He also recognizes points that are tight and works out those knots. What I love about this place is the service, quality of massage and the setting. This place looks into the river and it's very quiet when you walk in. You don't hear the therapists talking away and that's what I don't want when I'm in a session. The service is one of the best. You're greeted in the waiting area with some slippers and a warm towel infused with a lemongrass scent to wash your hands. They add on about $75 worth of extras for free including hot stone, heat lamp, full body wash, aromatherapy, a bunch more and the newest addition is cupping. With this cold making its way through my system it's exactly what I need. Now onto the massage, I like deep massages and they get it right here. You can request the pressure when you fill out the form in the waiting area, along with the extras (free) that you want, and show them the areas to focus on and avoid. I always leave this place feeling better than when I arrived. What makes a massage good for me are; pressure, hand strength of the therapist and how fluid their motion is on my body. Some I've had elsewhere feel choppy and just not right. I've had reflexology, acupuncture and feet massages here and those were amazing as well. I love a long, good feet massage. The only thing is I always regret not booking for 90 mins!

The…read moreprevious owners never notified clients and the spa was just closed for several months with no communication about scheduled appointments, etc. I was grateful that my gift certificate was honoured by the new owners. I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.

My Masseuse did a strange hair massage / not a scalp massage but hair. Not sure what that was about, I almost laughed. I asked for a gentle massage and not deep tissue. When I was changing afterwards the cleaner kept coming in the change room and making me move my belongings. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. She did it several times. That area is small to begin with. Not what I had expected. Very disappointed Palliser.
