Just Three Words…read more.. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! I had lunch next door, been on the island 3 days, passed numerous strip mall spa locations and of course my Marriotts Resort had Spa massages at Twice the price. Popped in with no appointment. I had my island crew with me and asked if they can fit me in. Front staff was awesome, friendly, and accommodating. Answer was YES at 3pm if that fits your schedule. That was the magic timeframe in my mind. It Was Meant to Be. I dropped my crew at the resort, took a quick shower, I don't like to be sticky or sweaty for my masseuse. Arrived 10 minutes early and "Anne" was ready for me. She escorted me to the couples room, asked if there was any issues with my body, I stated I have sciatica but it hasn't flared up for six months. She stated to undress "To my Comfort" and lie face up. Face Up??? I've never started a massage that way. She stated, I do things different, I start with your head, like a champagne bottle, make your brain POP, then your arms legs and then the flip so your back is the coup de grâce. It wasn't a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, Swedish, or deep tissue massage. Anne has 30 plus years experience. She incorporates all that she's learned into her own method. O my Gosh, it started weak, I'm thinking OK??? But then she really started, kneaded, pinched, smoothed every muscle. Being that I was in the couples massage room, she had extra material, hot towels, heat belts, Hot Rocks, etc. she used it all. I was a pampered Prince. I've had high priced spa massages, low cost strip mall massages But This was the Best Massage I've ever had. I was jelly at the end. When I came back to the Marriotts and met my crew, They didn't have to ask, all they saw was a Cheshire Cats grin on my face. If you go to Zensations, ask for Anne!!! We plan on being back to Maui next year and if so, I'll have two massages scheduled. 1. Upon arrival to relax before our vacation starts and 2. Right before I leave. 100 plus 10 percent Recommended!!!!

I'm 6.5 months pregnant and needed a side-laying massage since I can't be on my stomach. When I arrived, my therapist Molly already had the room set up with a side support pillow and leg bolster. She really listened to my needs, which were relief for my sore feet and calves, and was very proficient with prenatal body work. I left feeling so refreshed and honestly more satisfied than going to a high-end resort spa. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing massage!

We arrived a few minutes early and waited to be brought in to the spa. Hannah and Joel were our two masseuses and the only word to use is wonderful for both. My wife had Hannah and I thought she was going to kidnap her and take her back to Tennessee. She said Hannah was the best masseuse she had had in years. I felt the same about Joel as he worked every knot and kink out of my 74 year old back and neck. If you are looking for a great place to enjoy an hour or two, we did 90 minutes, look no further. Very nice accommodation, very clean and wonderful masseuses.

He really listened to what was bothering me and knew exactly where to focus without me having to explain much. His pressure was perfect, strong and therapeutic, but still relaxing, and I could genuinely feel the difference by the end of the massage. Joel is clearly extremely skilled and intuitive at what he does. I walked in hurting and left feeling SO much better. One of the best massages I've had, and exactly what I needed. If you're looking for someone who can actually work out tension and help with real pain, ask for Joel. I would book with him again in a heartbeat! The customer service here is outstanding as well. I will be back next vacation for sure!

I booked an 80 min Cab Lomi Lomi massage outside in the cabana facing the ocean! Worth every single cent! They do have a 20% service charge split between the hotel and the spa but they're very upfront about this charge when you book as well as with reminders. The facilities were so beautiful and clean! I was able to take advantage of the sauna, the infinity pool, snacks, citrus infused water, locker room, dark chocolate, and complimentary champagne. Adrian was my massage therapist and he was so kind and made sure to honor my request for medium but light pressure! I felt so relaxed! He even took some photos, of me as requested so I'd have them for memories! The view, stellar! Literally so beautiful! Like something out of a postcard! If you enjoy the spa, you will not be disappointed in this place!

One of the Best Massages of My Life!…read more I've had well over 100 massages in my life, probably closer to 200, all over the world. My absolute favorite is an authentic Thai-style massage combined with deep tissue work. A couple of years ago, I spent time in Thailand and had at least a dozen massages there, so I have a pretty good idea of what a great Thai massage should feel like. This was genuinely one of the best massages of my life! My massage therapist, Jennie, was absolutely incredible. She clearly knew what she was doing and had the experience and technique to back it up. She twisted, stretched, and folded me into positions I didn't even know my body could manage. At one point, my feet were literally above my head! She even commented on how flexible I was. I told her she was basically turning me into a pretzel! The attention to detail was outstanding. Hot towels, hot stones, and these wonderfully warm weighted beanbags placed on my back and then my stomach when I turned over. Toward the end, Jennie used a hot towel behind my neck while stretching it, which felt amazing. Every little detail seemed thoughtfully designed to make the experience better. Despite the intensity of some of the stretching and deep tissue work, Jennie was extremely professional and checked in regularly to make sure the pressure was exactly where I wanted it. And it wasn't just me! My wife had Annie as her massage therapist and thought she was fantastic. Our 26-year-old son also had a massage and absolutely loved it. I've experienced massages in Thailand and around the world, and Banyan Tree Spa is right up there with the very best. If you love a proper Thai-style massage with serious stretching and deep tissue work, ask for Jennie. She's exceptional! Five stars, without hesitation. I'd give six if Yelp would let me!

We decided on the hot stone lomi lomi option as it combines traditional Hawaiian style techniques with added hot stone. We had Annie and Joy as our massage therapists. They were absolutely lovely! We left floating and so grateful for the warm vibes and hospitality. We will definitely be booking here again in future visits! Thank you all so much. Mahalo and all the best to this business.

Truly a slice of paradise in paradise. My husband and I wanted to end our trip on a high note and…read moresaw that Spa Montage was the absolute best of the best on Maui. How right these reviewers were. I received a Swedish massage from the lovely Sun Hee and it was the BEST massage I've ever had in my life. Highly recommend you request her for yours. I hope she's around in a year when we come back! My husband's deep tissue was equally amazing. We opted to receive treatments in the outdoor hale and though the spa warned us there might be construction noise, we were lucky just to hear one loud truck start and then it was peaceful the rest of the time. After, I took a spin through the sauna and whirlpool in the women's only section. I was somehow alone given the early booking (11am) and it was pure magic. The bathroom also has a solid assortment of amenities inside. The final cherry on top was ending our trip in their infinity pool, where a light rain shower helped us feel like we were in a romance movie on some far away land. 10/10 stars for Spa Montage - we'll be back!

This is still one of my favorite places in the world and my previous review still applies, but the…read moreprice, my partner's (first!) experience, the service, and the products out of stock made me reconsider my rating. First of my concerns is the price of a day pass, which is now over $180 for only three hours. I'm not sure if/how they enforce this (we don't check in/out at any point), but having to constantly check the clock is the opposite of relaxing. For that price, it should offer all-day entry. Secondly, my last visit was poorly stocked. The piles of towels have been reduced, and sandals had to be pulled out of a locker. The sunscreen pump was empty in the co-ed area, and I had to notify the front desk as I could not find an attendant. It appears their partnership was ended with the skincare company that used to provide products at the vanity, and the iced towels by the steam room were quickly sitting in a bowl of water. Third, the service was brusque. My tour was given by an attendant (Aaron) who seemed strangely nervous, but my partner did not receive a tour at all. Her attendant just said, "here's your locker," and left. My partner had to seek out and ask the attendant (who was now giving a tour to a different guest) for sandals and was brushed off. She ended up getting lost multiple times, as the hallways and doors can be confusing at first. When I went to report the sunscreen, the front desk attendant interrupted me with her hand and said, "sunscreen, got it," and got on the phone, so I couldn't even tell her about my girlfriend's lack of an orientation tour. Finally, it's been years, but they used to have drinks available. One of my favorite Hawaiian memories involved sipping on a chocolate banana smoothie by the pool. Now the cafe is a gift shop with almost nothing for men, and when I was there, no one running it. I still love being here and enjoying the gorgeous amenities - going nude in the men's area and cycling between the sauna / rainfall shower / whirlpool jacuzzi / steam room is bliss.
