My massage table decor was in a beautiful Hawaiian plumeria print and you are shaded and in a private space away from the public. My masseuse was Fon and she was fabulous! I asked for a deep tissue massage and she executed and stretched my target areas. It was so relaxing being outdoors and listening to Hawaiian music in the background. We've had a few massages across the country and this is by far the best. Being not far from the beach allows for a nice breeze to come through and the massage therapists are very good at getting into your muscles without pushing too hard. The lotion they use is also very good smelling and the music was incredibly relaxing. By the end we felt completely relaxed and loose. One thing to be aware of is that these massages are pretty pricey but to be quite honest they were completely worth it. Cannot recommend enough. read more

Professional, nice, pleasant, I enjoyed the massage however I didn't realize it was pool side. I think Hilton could spring for an outdoor sink so the staff are not washing their hands from a spigot.( but at least they washed their hands in between massages) I think there could be a better privacy screen when inside the tent ( so that's why the 4 star ) read more

We were vacationing in Maui and I was in much need of a relaxing massage. I'd say that this was more of a chiropractic massage than an actual Swedish massage. There was lots of pulling instead of warming up the muscles and massaging, and at the end she wrapped a towel around the base of my neck and pulled really hard. I'm a week out from that massage and am still having neck pain. The management is very nice and easy to work with, but overall I probably would not go back as it left me in more pain than I started with. read more

The massage was amazing and she worked out all my tight spots and responded to my pressure requests. Very pleased with The massage itself. The cabana is located remotely from the beach and closer to the resort pool. I wouldn't say it was as relaxing in that sense that you can hear all the commotion of the resort pool (and landscaping in the morning). There was music to cover some of it. Even though it was a bit strange knowing guests were literally outside by the pool where we were located, Ahh Massage offers enough privacy to strip down. The sounds of the waves, the great outdoors, and gentle music helped elevate the relaxation experience. She'd only had one other massage ever and it was such a rough deep tissue massage that she never wanted another massage ever! It was a horribly painful experience and the pain lasted for days. She was over the moon with joy after her first relaxation massage from Ahh... Relaxation. She was speechless because she felt SO good and relaxed after the 60 minute massage. "So this is why people get massages?! Sign me up!!" So glad she was pleased as I was!!! This being my THIRD relaxation massage of the week, the masseuse was able to work deeper in areas with old wounds: broken ankle, elbow joint replacement, and puffy lower legs. WOW!! I felt incredibly light, increased ease and range of motion in ankle, legs, forearms, low back and neck.... I'm speechless and can only type this review to express my gratitude as the tears of appreciation begin to steadily flow when I begin to speak. Let me start this review by saying I am a 28 year Massage Therapist. My standards are pretty high. I brought my friend and host to Ahh Massage as a thanks for putting me up/putting up with me (Lol!) Booking from California was pretty easy. They had a private cabana poolside, ocean just beyond the pool. My friend likes very light massage, I like effective, but relaxing massage. Mem and Oi our Therapists were exactly what we needed. It was rather windy, but that added a nice sound effect. We could hear people, but it wasn't intrusive. I cannot recommend them any better. I will definitely be back. Their prices were less than I charge in the SF Bay Area, without the nicer scenery. read more

We arrived in Maui jet lagged and sore and stiff. I found this little massage parlor on line and they were able to accommodate us and get us in the same day! We both had fabulous massages! They know Tai massage and although we both had combination massages, they were able to incorporate some of the Thai stretching which really helps the overall massage experience. Loved our massages! My husband, daughter and I had amazing treatments from Blossom and another therapist (forgot her name). They really took the time to focus on our problem areas and work out our knots and tension. The pool area where they are located is nice, and it's relaxing to hear the waterfall and feel the open air breeze while getting your massage. A few pool-goers were a little loud, but it didn't affect the experience much. We all walked out of the cabana completely relaxed and feeling great. A great start to our trip! read more

Chris and her team were absolutely amazing. Just what my husband and I needed on a little break away from the kiddos while grandma and grandpa babysat. The massage venue is a cabana inside the pool at the Ka'anapali Beach Club hotel. While not "inside" we actually loved the true sounds of wind, birds and water running around us. The ambient noise from the pool is pretty faint once you get in to the cabana and mostly covered by lovely, relaxing music. The cabana is completely covered so no clothing necessary The therapists were professional and timed the massage really well. Both of us thought it was one of our better massages and feel fantastic afterward. Most of all, Chris and team were gracious, kind and welcoming. The perfect Aloha spirit. I can't even begin to explain how wonderful this experience was. My husband and I did a couple massage by the pool and we could hear the ocean. Yes there was noises in the background (like the garbage man, people by the pool, etc) but I was so beyond relaxed that those sounds flowed with my massage. It was literally like the best massage I have ever had in my life. And I use to be a therapist and I get a massage at least once a month. So I have a lot of experience lol. *Update: Chris messaged me and was gracious in listening to my concerns and feedback. She even offered me a full refund for massage which I refused as I want to support local businesses like hers. It's still stands that my 2nd massage was poor but Chris's professionalism and care for her customers' experience deserves 5 stars. Original: My family and I (my wife, her mother, my mother and I) went to get massages from Ahh twice during our trip to Maui. The first time on 10/22 we got an amazing experience with the two masseuses who went incredibly experienced, deft and really did a great job targeting our knots and providing a relaxing experience. Having had a great first experienced we booked a follow up massage on 10/26 - when my mom and I arrived there were two different masseuses. My moms masseuse was great and provided a comparable experience as her first time on 10/22; I on the other hand had an extremely disappointing and mediocre massage which left me feeling more stressed having had to pay over $200 for what was supposed to be a luxury massage. It was anything but; my masseuse lacked finesse and touch - she did not seem to know how to identify knots and sore areas and apply appropriate pressure and I had to repeatedly instruct her with the results not being very fruitful - she also had long fingernails that dug into my skin during certain parts of the massage (particularly my neck). She also lacked enough strength in her fingers to massage my hands/fingers and feet and had to overly rely on her elbow/forearms which left me in discomfort and pain during certain portions. I rarely complain when it comes to services and didn't say anything as my mom was enjoying her experience but as the massage progress I felt myself getting increasingly frustrated. Needless to say when it came to payment I left a low tip to express my disapproval of the experience. When it comes to massages, the masseuse is what really matters and it's unfortunate this company felt comfortable having a masseuse whose skill level was far below that of her colleagues which made for a very lowlight and inconsistent experience. If the massage was charging $40 instead of $200 I would have been fine with it but that was not the case... make sure to confirm your masseuses. read more
