We packed up and headed to their shop. When we got there we were lead to our room. The rooms were connected with their own enter-trance. My masseuse didn't ask which kind of massage I wanted but she did all different kinds of techniques on me and turns out that is the one I wanted. Wow, she really worked hard on me and at times it was a little painful but not too bad. She could tell that my left arm or shoulder was hurting so she went and worked on that a lot to try to loosen it up. Overall, I really liked the massage and I felt very relaxed after it. She even stood up and standing on my legs, which was weird it didn't hurt so it was fine. I guess that's a Thai technique. The wife had a great massage also and we're happy with this place. I would come here again when we came back to the island. They charge us $189 a piece for a 80 minute massage. I think it was worth the money.

Their old med spa was located on Front St near the Banyan tree. Jenny, the owner lost everything , so sad. Prior to our appointment, we took a tour of the Montage spa and even though it was gorgeous and fancy, we decided to skip it due to the crazy expensive prices, we decided not to go. I called around and got in touch with other massage places, & most places did not offer couples massages in the same room, yet offered same time massage in separate rooms. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted it to be special. Banyan Tree Spa offered a couple's combo Thai massage (same room) and my hubby and I did the 90 minutes and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It was a wonderful head to toe experience with deep tissue, walking on back with their feet, scalp massage, face massage, foot massage, shiatsu, lomi lomi, hot stone, Swedish, etc. I had "Joy" as my masseuse and my husband had "Sheila" and they did a MAGNIFICENT job! Usually massage places have you fill out a form to point out where you have the problem spots but this place did not. However, Joy was able to take all of my knots out, especially on top of my shoulder area/traps & scapula area (hard to reach knots places. She knew exactly where all the knots were hidden and was able to smooth them out.It was heavenly and I didn't want her to stop. I didn't even have to tell her where to massage or push harder. I had lots of drooling and tears come out with different emotions. I cried during my massage knowing that a dear friend has days left to live battling brain cancer and also in addition of Lahaina town gone from the tragedy. I was very happy to support this local business. Jeny was super kind and helpful ! We will definitely return in the future. If you're looking for a couples massage, that's quite economical and amazing, try this place out! You'll receive a wonderful head to toe massage. I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten the same treatment at the Montage. You're paying for the name-brand companies that don't offer the same treatment. Except for they have the sauna rooms, snacks, showers, pools, amenities. Lastly, the music was very nice and enjoyable. Clean business and they used coconut oil which you will get on your face and hair which I was ok with. This massage was deep pressure & therapeutic. You have to tolerate a little bit of pain. They will walk on your back, stretch out your body/ neck with the towels, they only use hot stone if you do the combo here and it's definitely worth it! This place gets a solid 5/5 star review on overall everything! Prob one of the best "Thai" massages of my life! Even though I told her I thought my shoulders and back needed the most work for my deep tissue massage, she suggested working on my entire body after noticing the areas that I've had injuries/strains/tendonitis without me mentioning it to her. She could tell from my body that I was not balanced when I'm sitting down (I blame work), which I had a sense that was the case, but she confirmed it. This was one of the best massages I've had, and before that, I thought nothing could beat the massage I had at Aria in Vegas. I'm still blown away by the fact that Mel could tell what areas of my body needed work when I didn't even tell her. My line of work of physically demanding that requires proper ergonomics to avoid work injuries but that's not always feasible. The spa has great amenities to enjoy after your treatment. There's a great view with an infinity pool where you can dip in or lounge in the chair. I obviously was not prepared for this since I thought I booked the other location. I would recommend you bring a swimsuit if you want to dip in the infinity pool. There's an individual infrared sauna you can also sit in, which was a great sweat session. They also will offer you refreshment to enjoy after your treatment. I ended up getting the POG mimosa, which was tasty. As for parking, you get free complimentary valet up to 4 hours. The front staff will ask you at the end, which was good because I totally forgot I needed to validate it. I will say that there is a huge difference between the cheaper spa massages you can get somewhere else compared to one at a hotel. This one was definitely worth the splurge when you can get a private room with no distractions, be pampered, and then enjoy the amenities at the end. If you're ok with spending that much with a nice view to enjoy at the end, then I would highly recommend you check out this spa!
