So we saw this down from our breakfast place. My wife and I were interested in getting a couples massage. They had a special going on for Valentine's. Twenty bucks off for both of us. The place is in a strip mall with ample parking. My wife spoke to them and they could fit us in two hours. We went back to our hotel and sat by the pool. They texted my wife to get us in earlier. We packed up and headed to their shop. When we got there we were lead to our room. The rooms were connected with their own enter-trance. My masseuse didn't ask which kind of massage I wanted but she did all different kinds of techniques on me and turns out that is the one I wanted. Wow, she really worked hard on me and at times it was a little painful but not too bad. She could tell that my left arm or shoulder was hurting so she went and worked on that a lot to try to loosen it up. Overall, I really liked the massage and I felt very relaxed after it. She even stood up and standing on my legs, which was weird it didn't hurt so it was fine. I guess that's a Thai technique. The wife had a great massage also and we're happy with this place. I would come here again when we came back to the island. They charge us $189 a piece for a 80 minute massage. I think it was worth the money. read more

After researching plenty of massage places here in Napili, Maui area, we decided to visit the Banyan Tree Spa based off the amazing reviews and we wanted to support a local business that lost their home/business to the Lahaina fires. Their old med spa was located on Front St near the Banyan tree. Jenny, the owner lost everything , so sad. Prior to our appointment, we took a tour of the Montage spa and even though it was gorgeous and fancy, we decided to skip it due to the crazy expensive prices, we decided not to go. I called around and got in touch with other massage places, & most places did not offer couples massages in the same room, yet offered same time massage in separate rooms. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted it to be special. Banyan Tree Spa offered a couple's combo Thai massage (same room) and my hubby and I did the 90 minutes and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! It was a wonderful head to toe experience with deep tissue, walking on back with their feet, scalp massage, face massage, foot massage, shiatsu, lomi lomi, hot stone, Swedish, etc. I had "Joy" as my masseuse and my husband had "Sheila" and they did a MAGNIFICENT job! Usually massage places have you fill out a form to point out where you have the problem spots but this place did not. However, Joy was able to take all of my knots out, especially on top of my shoulder area/traps & scapula area (hard to reach knots places. She knew exactly where all the knots were hidden and was able to smooth them out.It was heavenly and I didn't want her to stop. I didn't even have to tell her where to massage or push harder. I had lots of drooling and tears come out with different emotions. I cried during my massage knowing that a dear friend has days left to live battling brain cancer and also in addition of Lahaina town gone from the tragedy. I was very happy to support this local business. Jeny was super kind and helpful ! We will definitely return in the future. If you're looking for a couples massage, that's quite economical and amazing, try this place out! You'll receive a wonderful head to toe massage. I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten the same treatment at the Montage. You're paying for the name-brand companies that don't offer the same treatment. Except for they have the sauna rooms, snacks, showers, pools, amenities. Lastly, the music was very nice and enjoyable. Clean business and they used coconut oil which you will get on your face and hair which I was ok with. This massage was deep pressure & therapeutic. You have to tolerate a little bit of pain. They will walk on your back, stretch out your body/ neck with the towels, they only use hot stone if you do the combo here and it's definitely worth it! This place gets a solid 5/5 star review on overall everything! Prob one of the best "Thai" massages of my life! I have had plenty of massages from Japanese "Shiatsu", Hawaiian "lomi-lomi " , Chinese foot massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue, Accupuncture, etc and I am quite picky ;) I felt so relaxed and relieved ! This mother and daughter had the most amazing "couples" massage from mother and son masseuses! Jenni and Eric were absolutely wonderful. They listened to our needs and provided a wonderful & relaxing experience. It was my daughter's first massage and Jenni was attentive to the pressure and her comfort. I had a neck injury and Eric was able to focus there and relieved so much pain. We would highly(!) recommend Banyan Tree Spa to our friends. Joy did great but the "dancing" was way too much. There were parts especially at the end where she shook me a lot and called it dancing. A bit unconventional and awkward but I was willing to trust her process. Never had it in any of my deep tissue combination massages before. I guess that was a pretty unique experience! Jenny is so kind and so experienced - over 25 years ago she came here from Thailand and offers multiple massage styles. Her other LMT was excellent too - my partner said her massage was just perfect. The new location is clean and quiet, and she's worked so hard to make it home. During the Lahaina fire in 2023 she lost her home and her business, and starting over has been rough! Under-insured, she's grateful to have her family alive, though their new home is sparse and nothing is the same. I came in for a couple's massage with my girlfriend who had come for an individual massage a few days before. Fon was my therapist and she did everything my body needed. I had some troublesome issues with my plantar fasciitis and hamstrings and Fon worked all the trigger points and issue areas so that I have been feeling great for a few days after. She did an amazing combination of Thai and Swedish massage along with some mobility work. Oh em gee. This place is a true home run for a beautiful massage in Maui! This place is a hidden secret. My husband and I were craving a massage so we got a recommendation from our wonderful Uber driver who is a local named Michael. We got to this place and it was nice and cool and very welcoming. It had some very serene music and smelled beautiful like aloe, eucalyptus and lavender. We were greeted by Auntie Jenny and Eric and they gave us privacy to undress and when we were ready they got to work. The massage was an hour (you can extend if you'd like) and it was heavenly from the start to finish. I did the full body deep tissue massage and Eric was more than happy to adjust to what pressure I liked. My husband did the lomi lomi and adjusted his hips and that was the money shot for his bad hips. Auntie Jenny also stepped on his back and he said it felt AMAZING and she applied the right amount of pressure. This place is a hidden gem in Maui and it was seriously so relaxing and not in the hustle bustle of things.
