Three of us booked a massage and all three of us had a fantastic experience here. The masseuses are top notch. The owner, who booked the massages for us by phone, said the masseuses he employs have 10-20 years of experience and clearly they do. We were impressed, and we are "massage aficionados" and don't say that unless well deserved. The owner is super nice, and when we were checking out, we asked him for restaurant recommendations on Maui and he spent a good 20 minutes telling us of various places to go on the island with good local food at a good price and not touristy. I don't give 5 stars out easily! But wow, I had the best massage by Chi at Green Ti. I called on a whim and was able to get an appointment within 1/2 an hour. I absentmindedly booked it for 2 and didn't account for afterschool traffic! Parking can be tricky so I got dropped off! I arrived 5 minutes late but they were so kind! Upon entering this little shop in Old Wailuku Town, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items available for purchase! I was provided a clipboard with a one page questionnaire. As soon as I completed it, Chi led me to the massage table in a small room. I selected a Deep Tissue Massage and oh my!!! It was the best massage I've had. I asked her to focus on my back, neck and right shoulder. It was insane how in tune she was with my body. She is so skillful and applied the right amount of pressure. She is sweet and didn't talk too much or too little throughout! I walked out of her massage room feeling brand new! I don't recommend a massage therapist unless I've gone to them for at least a year... but Chi is gifted. She knows what's up! I'd highly recommend her! She apparently was fully booked for the next 2 days. I am SO SO thankful that her schedule lined up with mine yesterday! Totally looking forward to my next session! The owner mentioned that their typical clientele is made up of locals but I want to make sure visitors know about this gem too and support their business! No need to seek out a hotel spa for top notch treatment! I was visiting and had a gap to fill while my husband was in a lesson at the airport nearby. So the night before his lesson I called this place minutes before closing and they were able to fit me in exactly when I asked (which was at opening the next morning) for a 90 minute prenatal session. The owner Erica was so nice and welcoming both on the phone the night before and in person when I arrived. And the massage... oh man! I get massages at least every other month and at the moment once or twice a month since I'm pregnant. I tell you... this was hands down the best prenatal massage I have received! It's one of the best massages I can remember in a long while but certainly the best prenatal one. Emily was my masseuse and I told her when we met that I usually like firm pressure but understand that prenatal massages stay away from being too firm for the obvious reasons of course. Well she delivered on the pressure! Not like if I wasn't pregnant of course, but a wonderful amount. Typically other prenatal massages I have had feel pleasant at the time but they're quite soft and once I leave I wouldn't have been able to tell that I had just had a massage. Emily worked on my knots with the right amount of force and was pure magic when it came to my neck and shoulders. The massage even included a foot scrub of some kind which was a nice surprise. Green Ti is a little Salon that you barely notice from the street, enter and it is not very fancy and a little dark. I used to get French soaps and gift certificates (massage and facial) for friends. I was told it was nice. I finally had to try it for myself last month. I had the best facial ever. Kristin was the esthetician. We were in a cozy dark comfy room and I am still dreaming of the experience. Rejuvenating, relaxing, very professional. Can't wait to treat myself again. read more

I'm from off-island and came in a hot mess and they were so accommodating and fixed me right up. Mike even came outside to flag me down, talking to me on my cell, guiding me to their front door when I couldn't find their location (they're shingle is hidden by this beautiful tree out front, and 2 map apps that I counted on wouldn't accurately give directions!). Truly a hidden gem which is kind of nice. I left a message for an appt. (after hours) and they called in the morning and got me right in at a time I requested. They even stayed open later for me when I was late due to lamely going around the block 3 times! Everyone inside was so sweet and personable which is so important when you're stressed and in pain. My therapist was amazeballs. We interacted so easily. I don't expect (or want!) any therapist to read my mind but she listened to my request for problem areas (and I had a laundry list) and she took care of all of them and more that I didn't even know about that were causing the symptoms. So patient and thorough. I felt like I had been to the chiropractor. An absolutely wonderful therapist. I went in crippled and in a high 8/10 level of pain--much of it chronic, and came out released and flexible, 1/10. I felt truly cared for and renewed. As a nurse, I highly recommend them. I read all the reviews here before choosing them, so a note to anyone that gives dissatisfactory reviews with ANY massage--always give alot of healthy feedback during your treatment with your therapist if you want something addressed and you feel like they forgot. They count on it and cannot read your mind! Have a collaborative--not a passive/victim--mentality. I know it's hard to when you have pain--I struggle w/ pain, too--but it is so worth it. And if you're still unhappy, 100% of good massage salons WILL compensate you somehow. The fact that someone refuses to be comped is quite telling. Being comped is always a better win-win than leaving a damaging negative review for a small business in this economy. They really take a risk trying to help people that are hurting, grumpy and already feel victimized because of long term pain. In old Wailuku town, on Market street, along with boutique clothing stores, a coffee shop, a restaurant, antique stores and other local businesses is Green Ti Massage, ( a little Shanghai-la ) where you can get a massage, acupuncture or facials as well as shop for teas aromatherapy oils, etc. I am a regular here (few years now) that gets a massage from Kristin M. about once a month and was in today for my normal 110 minute massage which again was fantastic!. Kristin is attentive to you telling her where your problem / tightness areas are, her pressure (s) is always great and her explanation and advice regarding exercise, diet, stretching , etc..are in layman's terms and easy to understand and relate to. This place rocks!!! From its convenient location to the vast choices of LMT's to choose from, Green Ti has been my go to place for years now. Although my favorite masseuse is no longer there, they still have some really capable and knowledgeable masseuses (is that a word or am I erroneous?!) The owners, Erica and Mike, are also very friendly and cool people. They can even recommend a masseuse for your particular ailment, as they are customers as well! I was fortunate enough to have 30 minutes of free time for myself today -- which is an eternity to me -- so I strolled through Market Street and came across this place. Something about it called out to me, so I had to check it out. Walked in and was immediately taken by the gentle vibes resonating through the room. It felt relaxing -- a feeling I'm not at all used to. I looked around a little for pricing and saw a sign for a 15-minute massage for only $15! I had to take it! I've never paid for a massage before -- only got free ones from my masseuse friends who weren't at work -- so I was pretty nervous. I definitely didn't need to be though. Karen was available and gave me a heavenly massage! I've had knots all over my back for the longest time now, but she really had me feeling fresh and rejuvenated afterwards. I have been a customer from the beginning and I have to say every year it improves and grows. This place has really been a very welcoming place. In fact, out of the many massages I have only had 1 bad experience which I brought to Erica's attention and instantly rectified the situation. This was a long time ago. I use to like going to get my massage done here, but after today, it will be my last. Booked a 30min massage. Told the therapist to focus on my upper back and shoulder. The whole massage was more like, Leaning her elbow on my back. With No consistent pressure the whole time!! To top it off she was done with me and didn't even massage my neck where I told her it hurt and she finished me in 22minutes and not the full 30minutes!!! NEVER EVER RETURNING BACK!! My masseuse didn't use enough pressure(even though I specified I wanted deep pressure when I booked my appointment and when I met the masseuse). I walked out feeling disappointed. Ninety dollars(with tip)isn't worth it for a 50 minute massage...especially when it wasn't that good. Won't be returning...prices too high and service not as good as it used to be. read more

I feel like I'm spending time with an old friend who understands my body needs. On my first visit during the health questioner Meli really understood my limitations and blended several techniques it was a perfect massage for me. I had such a wonderful experience here. I was vacationing and was in need of some serious relaxation. I happened upon this cute little boutique in Wailuku and was able to get in right away. I had a full body massage and facial with Alesa and she was fantastic, I walked out feeling as if years of stress and tension had melted away. This place came highly recommended by friends of ours. I was in my first trimester of pregnancy, feeling like crap, and had a terrible tension headache. On their recommendation I booked a massage same-day, after work. They were ready to accommodate my pregnant body as needed, but as I wasn't really showing yet, I was still comfortable on the table as-is. But I appreciated the massage therapists concerns and questions to ensure I was comfortable. I can't remember the name of the gal who massaged me (I do remember it was a very unique name) but she did a fantastic job. She listened to my wants and needs and really focused on my problem areas. My tension headache was so much better afterwards and my body felt a million times better than it had in months. The gentleman that owns the shop was very personable and took the time to chat with me and get to know me. It's that extra level of service that wins them 5 stars. They also have a variety of wonderful products in their lobby for purchase.
