I just had an AMAZING 90-minute massage here. I feel so amazing and so relaxed! My masseuse was absolutely incredible. The perfect pressure was used and the techniques she used really worked out a lot of my pain points. I didn't want the massage to end at all. The atmosphere was so relaxing and smelled amazing. The music and lights were turned down just enough. A big plus was the heated massage table. Yes, please! I really enjoyed the hot towels at the end to wipe off the oil on my feet. I have been going here for years & have been disappointed lately. The past two times I noticed trash on the floor. I was also given the same massage therapist twice in a row. My fault for not selecting anyone in particular. Both times I was very disappointed in the quality of the massage. I am wondering if ownership has changed? Have been coming here for a few months and love my massage therapist - Billy Jean! She is so sweet and really helps address your trouble spots and makes a big difference!! She gets deep into the pesky knots to unravel the stress and pain. The hot towel at the end of the massage to wipe off the cream/oil is also a great part of the massage...who would have known a massage through a Hot towel would feel so great. Hands-down the two best massages I've ever had (and I've been getting massages regularly for 20+years) and an excellent shellac manicure to boot! My first experience at II Creeks was just the perfect afternoon of relaxation that I needed. Upfront reality check: If, like me, you are expecting this to be a day-spa experience complete with lockers, robes, comfy slippers, dry saunas and steam rooms, showers, spa snacks, and cucumber-water drinks...well, easy there, girlfriend. This is NOT that kind of spa where you can spend all day relaxing at your leisure (though I imagine if you were to purchase the all-day package, you would get something akin to that, but I did not with just a 90-minute massage and manicure). My sister lives nearby and recommended II Creeks when I was granted an unexpected work reprieve due to President G.H.W. Bush's death, may he rest in peace. I arrived a little early that afternoon to fill out first-timer paperwork and was immediately asked what I would like to drink. The front-desk greeter listed off my options and when she said cranberry juice, I sprung for it since it's a rarity and I wanted something more than water to hydrate me. It hit the spot. She then ushered me to a comfy chair in one of the back waiting areas and showed me where to find the ladies' room, which is spacious and has small white washcloths in lieu of paper towels and smooth rocks in the sinks. It's not as swanky as the Tahoe spas I'm used to, but for the suburbs of Dallas, it is sufficient. My massage therapist greeted me after several minutes, not by introducing herself or welcoming me, but by saying curtly, "I think you're my twelve thirty." I still am not sure what her name is, but I think I saw "Celena" or something to that effect written on the envelope when I was checking out. What my therapist lacked in bedside manner she more than made up for in her technique. The only thing I ask during a massage is firm pressure and silence and she went above and beyond. Truly, it was easily the best massage I've ever had since high school. She got the usual trouble spots but also hit a nerve--literally--in my neck that no one has hit before, but in a good way. I usually opt out of head massages, but hers was actually relaxing! Afterward, I was ushered to Raquel's area for nails. To say I was nervous would be an understatement I'm super particular about my fingernails to such a degree that I no longer get manicures because it's impossible to find someone as precise as me. Yet, I can say that I would trust Raquel with my hands any day. She helped me pick out a nice red shellac. She has strong feelings about colors, so if she doesn't like one, she'll tell you straight up. She and I chatted the whole time and she told me about her family, the building, her clients, and politics. The best thing you can find in a manicurist is attention to detail and perfection--Raquel has both qualities. I'm now a few weeks out from seeing her and my nails are still going strong! She even gave me some cuticle oil, which has really come in handy with my travels to super dry climates. Most recently, I returned to II Creeks yet again for an emergency 90-minute massage after I experienced a really scary and painful first-time seizing of the left side of my upper body due to a combination of poor computer posture and stress. I was able to get in the next day with Beth, who was a miracle worker. I explained what had happened and she spent a great deal of time and attention to those muscles, even putting some essential oils there to help with the inflammation. I don't know what I would have done without her help. Even today, I am feeling so much better and sitting straighter thanks to her intervention. She is absolutely a five-start therapist and I cannot recommend her enough. When you checkout at II Creeks, you are given the option to tip on your credit card or with cash. I've done both with no trouble at all. Of course, I'm sure you could also tip in person, but that can be awkward sometimes. Bottom line: When in need of self-care and decompressing from the stress of life, II Creeks is an excellent resource! read more

My experience at The Spa at II Creeks entailed a two hour long couples experience, with an Epicuren body wrap and massage. I'll give you the spoiler alert now: My only significant beef was with the price, which seems consistent with what other reviewers have said, but maybe I just don't know how much these services should cost. Our cost after a 20% tip was $576, which just seemed a bit high to me. As for the services, though, they were mostly quite nice. I chose the hydrating mask for the wrap; my partner chose the detoxify. It was quite relaxing, getting rubbed down with the mask, and then we were wrapped (not tightly, claustrophobics would probably be OK, although they do ask that question in the paperwork) with plastic, and then a blanket. While the wrap was in place, we received a nice scalp/head massage, it really felt good. Following the wrap, we encountered my two other small issues with the spa. We were asked to re-robe and proceed to the shower area after the wrap. To get from the treatment room to the showers, one has to walk in front of/past other clients who are in street clothes and are filling out their intake paperwork. I think if I were mingling with other robed guests, it'd be different, but it was a little disconcerting the way it was. Which leads to the next thing: The showers are located in the same bathrooms that clients use if they're just going to the restroom (including those filling out paperwork). Yes, the showers are partitioned off from the toilet etc., but still, it seems like a dedicated shower area wouldn't be uncalled for. The showers themselves, though, are very nice, with natural stone walls and good flow and shower heads. Back on the treatment room, the massages commenced. My partner and I both enjoyed the massages; our therapists were very professional and did a really good job. I did notice that there wasn't much in the way of aromatherapy or the like in the room, but there was spa music and the lighting, while still a little bright to my taste, was fairly subdued. All in all, again, I enjoyed our treatments for the most part, but the price is a little bit high. I'd at least hope for the changes I listed above to justify the cost. Still, if you have the money, it's a nice experience. read more

My friend came here recently and had a terrible experience. I am posting this on their behalf so they can remain anonymous/avoid issues. Here is what they said below: "I came here with high hopes from the reviews. However, my experience was not great. I will say, the spa is very clean/maintained well (bathrooms) and the front desk lady is nice! My issues arose in my massage experience. The package I got had essential oils, I really wanted lavender but that wasn't an option. Just peppermint and lemongrass (both of which I hate). I even saw signs for lavender so I wasn't sure why I couldn't have it. They put the oil on the face pillow part and it gave me a terrible headache from smelling it so long. :( not only this, the body oil was so cold. It felt and sounded so thick and sticky. It felt like Durex lube, no lie. The worst part tho was the quality of massage. The technique was just...off. They spent a LOT of time on my butt only, I wanted to get up and leave but didn't know how they'd react so I didn't. It felt like the masseuse was just slathering me in oil and doing no pressure. I was drenched when I got up to leave, they did no wiping. All I wanted to do was shower to get it off, no towels left in the room either for me. I had to use the sheet. During the massage, the room was so cold. I was literally shivering the whole time. They did my butt and feet before my face portion and I was shocked like why... for the cost of the packages here, the price just isn't worth it. II Creeks Plaza is a neighborhood gem in the fashionable and exclusive Canyon Creek section of Richardson. The builders of the new home subdivision where forward thinking when it came to using the existing property in a neighborhood friendly way. Traffic patterns would not have been conducive to a new shopping center or big box store so they redeveloped they renovated the existing shopping center into a series of neighborhood-friendly and highly popular and restaurants and local services such as a gym and even an ice cream parlor. Parking is abundant and complimented with full size trees and neighborhood appropriate landscaping. Many people also just walk here which is great for the neighborhood. The homes and country club may look Beverly Hills but the prices at the shops are affordable and family friendly. read more

I recently went with my husband to get Spa Manicures and Pedicures for his BDay . The actual treatments were great and the practitioners were very nice. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the treatments were not worth the price. I have gotten equivalent treatments for much less. Also the spa itself is a little cluttered and the ambiance was eh... if Spavia did nail treatments I probably would have gone there (See my Spavia review for more details). I really wanted a private and quiet treatment but the mani and pedi area was by the employee door so employees kept going back and forth during the session. Also the pedicure chairs didn't have the massage option which was dissapointing to my husband. I will probably not go back here again. Once again not because the treatments were not good they just were not worth the price. read more

I did not really enjoy the mani/pedi here as I don't feel I get my money's worth for the service. They do have a wide range of Zoya nail polishes to choose from, which I appreciate. Overall a classy, clean, professional spa that is worth the cost if you can afford it. There are super strict rules about cancellations etc, but they are willing to work with your schedule and the staff is super nice. The spa itself is tranquil and comfortable with friendly staff that are willing to answer any and all questions. It was a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere to wait in before my massage services. The massage itself was, quite simply, the best one I have ever had. I suffer from sciatica and back pain due to a herniated disc in my spine, and it makes me very sensitive to therapists using too much pressure or techniques that only exacerbate my pain levels. My therapist was very skilled in dealing with those kinds of conditions, but she also listened to my preferences in a way that no therapist has in the past and adjusted accordingly. As a result, it was the first massage I've been able to enjoy since the car accident that caused my injury. I felt amazing for days afterward and will definitely be visiting the spa again. read more

*PRENATAL MASSAGE* This was definitely a feel-good massage and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The massage starts with the table propped up on your back to massage shoulders and arms and then the remainder of the massage is side-lying. As far as the facility goes, I've been to nicer/more professional. There's no locker room, so you are taken directly to a seating area and then straight to the massage room (no robes/slippers). The massage rooms are directly off of the seating area so you can hear the conversation of the client/therapist which is a bit awkward. read more

Best prenatal massage with Beth! I was having debilitating sciatic nerve pain. It was painful to walk, sit, move, and I couldn't sleep. It radiated from the middle of my buttocks, down the side of my leg, to my knee, all of time. I had tried exercise, stretching, resting, heat- nothing worked. I came in for a massage with Beth at 36 weeks. She completely cured me. I still feel great 10 days later. I can honestly say that I have never been that relaxed without the help of an adult beverage or some type of med (that is a BIG statement from me!). I wish I could give more stars! This was a true luxury experience! I made an appointment for a mud wrap followed by a full body massage. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel really special. They offered me a bubbly beverage, which I enjoyed, and referred to me by my name throughout. Erin did a wonderful job on my mud wrap and made sure to warm my shower before I went in to rinse off. The shower was beautiful and clean. When I was finished with my shower, Erin brought me clean sandals and a fresh robe. Then came time for my massage. Beth was a God send!
