Be aware they don't clean their tools!! I really didn't want to write this review because these people are super sweet but they do NOT clean their tools. I came here twice, first to get dip, second to get gel. I'm a gel girly, I love it. When I called to schedule it, they kept pressuring me to get dip, the first time I caved. I realized later I really don't like dip and went back to gel. Again, the second time I called they pressured me to get gel but this time I said no. The lady was super sweet, although she didn't do a good job at the nail art. The colors were off and they just didn't have what I wanted. It wasn't bad enough for me to write a review however, until the next time I got my nails done. I went to the place I normally go to at home and the first thing I noticed is all of my natural nails were weirdly red. Like the tips were red and this never happened before. I've been getting my nails done for over 3 years now. Two of my nails broke previously so they had tips on it, and was fine. But the rest weren't. Another thing which is the most alarming and the reason for this review. I had a fungus grow under the nail and on my natural nail. FUNGUS. How did this come to be? They do not clean their tools. I was horrified. It's still there by the way! I cleaned it and everything but I have to wait for this to grow out and cut it off. Super frustrating, but also they were nice. I just hope they read this and actually start cleaning their tools. Another thing to note, while most of their staff is nice, some aren't. The person who did my dip nails, he was a guy sitting at the very end of the middle table, made some offensive comments about my boyfriend. I am an Asian lady and my boyfriend is Indian. He first asked me if i go home for my boyfriend which I thought was odd because I never mentioned I had a boyfriend and it was out of nowhere. But then he proceeded to ask if he was Chinese.. which I'm not sure why it would matter? I said no he's Indian, and this man proceeded to tell me to be careful around Indians because all they care about is money. Like I'm sorry, who are you to tell me this? I just met you and you're not my father. This conversation came up unprompted and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Other than this man, the rest of the staff is nice. But that's not enough to keep me coming back especially since I now have had a fungus on my finger for 2 months and that's gross. Look for another place to go if you don't want to have fungus growing on your fingers. read more

I have gone to many places in the past to get my eyebrows done and this has NEVER once happened. My skin burns so bad and it has been 2 days since I have got them done and my skin is getting worse. I give it a 2 star for 3 main reasons. 1. From the moment you walk in they recommend services to do without taking a moment to look or think about what you want. starting with the high prices in the menu, trying to convince you on what you should get. "Pointing at the most expensive service". Once you let them know you'll take a look over the menu they still force the next best. pushy on services! Maybe I don't want anything, just simple. 2. Wasn't relaxing at all, paid for a $50 pedicure and would have been better off getting the basic that's how plain and Unrelaxed I felt. My feet barley feel pampered. 3. When I went to nail Lua this past week my experience was anything but enjoyable. I was up sold and pressured into a service I didn't want, and when I brought it up to the manager I was given a half-hearted apology and sent on my way. I went on Sunday and Monday night my nail broke in half. I went back in on Tuesday afternoon and the experience was just as bad if not worse. When my nail technician "fixed" my nail there was a wall of glue, she attempted to fix but was unable to get it out. She then put the top coat on and told me i could go except it wasn't dry so it smeared everywhere and looked awful. After this I went back in and she redid my nail and managed to get some of the glue off. It's now Saturday and my pointer nail has fallen off as well, i anticipate the rest will soon because they're all loose. I have no intention of ever returning read more

Oh Yes Mam let me tell you why I won't be back. I came in in the middle of the day, a calm afternoon in the middle of a work week. I noticed one other lady inside. Coming in I was greeted nicely and showed to my seay. I had to ask for any refreshments. Fine not that big of a deal but normal service is at least otherwise at most places especially if they indeed do have refreshments to offer which i could see from the from they had a whole set up to the side. Moving along I got my seat, got my drink, picked my package and yes ready for a relaxing pedicure that I have been looking forward to all day. Yet was rushed during my pedicure. The pedicurist kept asking me did i want to change my package to something lower than what I asked. Something that didn't come with all of the accomodations that I was asking for. After I refused a few times she carried on with my pedicure however it was rushed. Nor was all of the inclusions for the Pedicure I chose, completed during my visit. I made her aware of this as she rushed thru the small leg massage and stated done and she tried to argue with me that I was wrong. Yet when I asked for the menu again clearly things such as the Hot stone treatment was not done for me and a couple of other supposed to's. Say the less I paid for only the work that was completed that day, My tip is this review, and Yes that is the closest one to the area I was in and will drive past it to go somewhere else every time. They will not appreciate your service here they are not trying to obtain it. Really liking this place. Gorgeous decor, and really peaceful. Today I got a beautiful pedicure/nex gen manicure and got home, and my son IMMEDIATELY ran up to hug me and stomped all over my gorgeous feet! I came back tonight fully intending to pay for a polish change, and they did it 15 min before close at NO cost. I tipped bc they were just SO darn nice about the whole thing! 2 negatives I'd say are that I have tried 2 of the fancy pedicures and they just aren't worth the extra money like it is at other places. No one does very good massage, and when I've tried the hot stones they weren't hot and then today the paraffin was WAYYY too hot. Welp seems like apparently I don't know anything about customer service or what a pedicure is (according to the seen employee). The manager Helen didn't even seem willing to help me as a "gift card" was the only thing they could do. Let me start off with this: DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and I wanted to get our nails done near campus. She found a place and saw the price listing, so we chose here. The interior is very pretty, and we were able to do walk-in's quickly. We were offered free water and had so many colors to choose for gel and Nexgen. My experience was initially positive, then it kept getting worse. The nail technicians asked me what my ethnicity was and I told them Chinese. I thought it was for their curiosity, but immediately they started speaking in Vietnamese. Even though I am Chinese, I speak Vietnamese fluently as well. My nail technician and my friend's were debating in front of me whether they would charge $5 or not for a coffin shape! There was nowhere on the website that said they were going to charge for that. I understand that it takes more work to shape them that way, but it would have been nice and okay to state the extra charge. Instead, they debated. My friend had her nails done before me, but I had mine finished first. A third technician asked mine in Vietnamese, "Oh you're already done? That was so quick!" Then my nail technician replied, "It's okay she's young, there's no need to do a good job." I was outraged and wanted to start speaking in Vietnamese to them. Overall, my nails were okay. My nail technician touched my pink nail when it was wet and didn't do anything about it. Some of it was blotchy and the quality overall was just mediocre. Also, he said in Vietnamese, "This girl wants a coffin with rounded corners, it's not pretty." If it's not pretty, why didn't he suggest something to me? I showed him a photo of what I wanted and he told me okay. Later, a customer was getting her pedicure done. When she got up, her nail technician said to look at her stomach to the other nail technicians. Unbelievable! I could not believe how much judgement and ignorance there was at this place. My friend can't speak Vietnamese, but I could tell how uncomfortable she was. In the end, I paid $40ish with a 10% new customer coupon. I tipped $6, but I wish I did not. In the end, I wish I had never came here and could get a full refund back. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and I have already warned my other friends. The service was so "poor" just because I am a "college student" and that I "don't care." Never come here if you fulfill the criteria of being a student and able to speak Vietnamese, because I guess that you won't receive a 100% quality service. The only reason why I give them 2 stars is because although the service was terrible, they did a great job on my friend's nails. Mine are still splotchy and have blots on them. read more
