Very mediocre place I was in an out in 45 min for gel nails They didn't take off all of the prior gel nails before and kinda left it messy Had to ask the girl to fix the length 2 times and even after every nail was so poorly filed I wanted to grab the file myself... my nail shape was better coming in than leaving. It's a very small business. Love how friendly they are. It's not expensive and they do a great job! Is best to do an appointment. They offer you margaritas and soft drinks as they are working on your nails. I normally don't write reviews, but I will definitely be coming back. It looks like they been in business for 30 years. I haven't gotten my nails done professionally in years! I decided to give this place a try since someone had recommended it. So I got this older guy who barely spoke to me and it was a bit awkward. I said I wanted tips oval/ round shaped. He starts to file them and proceeds to start with the dip powder. I look at my left hand and the shape is all wrong, and he filed too much on one side and even filed skin. I mentioned it to him and he's like - don't worry, will fix it better later. I told him several times during the service and he kept filing in the wrong area! Only thing I like is the color I chose, and the flowers that the lady co worker did bc he didn't know how to do it. I used to love Cindy and her husband did a great Pedi. I went recently and it had changed hands but I was not told this when I booked a 3 person mani pedi and it was the worst I have ever had. I think only 1 person is licensed and that person was just walking around (only saw 1 visible license hanging up). Ingrown nails were not cut. Polish was badly done AND to top it off it was the most expensive I have ever experienced. I will never go back. read more

It was a great experience the guy doing my nails was nice and very talkative, I also learned that he used to own the business and then someone else took over but then after many complaints he took his business back, hence all of the bad reviews within the last year. I had stopped in after work after reading a couple of yelp reviews. Everything was pretty straight forward as far as picking my dipping powder color and removing my previous nail polish. An older lady did my nails. During the process, I tried my best to make it as easy for her to dip and paint my nails which required me to sit uncomfortably and bend weirdly. Whenever I began to try and get comfortable, she would say something and pull at my fingers. After she had finished with everything, the nail was still very lumpy and thick and she had actually buffed off a layer of skin leaving a wound. I went to another place this week to have it redone and they asked me where I had went because it was that bad. I wasn't going to post anything, but maybe someone will take heed and read this. As of today, this is my new favorite spot. The staff at Foxi Nails was polite, pleasant and professional. I really don't like going to a nail salon full of chatterboxes, especially when you can't understand them (or worse, you know they are talking about you). Luckily, Foxi Nails was just what I was looking for. The place isn't very chic, but they do a great job and the prices are awesomeeee! I just paid $35 for a mani/pedi (the pedi was French) and salt/mud/hot towels on my legs. They also sell nail polish here- including O.P.I. for $7. They didn't have any more new bottles of the color I used so I bought the open bottle for $3. Not bad! I am a veryyyyy happy customer! :-) P.S. I randomly came to this salon for a pedicure since it's near my work and now i find myself here regularly. I usually come during my breaks at work so there's almost never a wait time. The staff is super friendly. The owner Cindy is sweet and attentive, she will remember you and make you feel like one of her girlfriends which I really like. Still the greatest pedicure from Sam! And basically the greatest pedicure in North Dallas. Cannot speak for nail care as I'm not a gal into getting nails done. But I've been to other establishments and none compare to the value and care given here. The owner Cindy will remember you, and it feels like u r with your girlfriends while you're there. Go for the deluxe pedicure and u will spend 30$, and that includes giving your fave pedicurist a well deserved 5$ tip. Had a horrible experience! Went in for a gel manicure. The lady used a little hand sander to remove the gel I had on and literally cut me 6 times, so bad I started to bleed. She then barely completed the manicure before repainting my nails. There was just as much nail polish on my skin as there was on my nails. Also the polish job was a disaster in that it was very uneven as well. They are cheap and you get what you pay for. Would never go back! read more

I found this place just driving around. My mother has been a stroke rehab facility for over 2 months and needed some TLC on her toes. I went in to check it out and the chairs were perfect for me to transfer her from her wheelchair. While my experience at the nail salon was good (tons of gel colors - almost too many to chose, a friendly technician), my gel manicure did not even last a week and my mother's lasted even less time. The gel just peeled off in its entirety. Some low points of service: the salon wasn't incredibly clean (hairs in the towels) and the technician for my mom did not want to cut down cuticles at all and did not give a hand massage at all. We won't go back simply because a $30 shellac gel manicure should last way longer than 5 days. read more

I just moved to North Dallas, and picked Foxi based off yelp reviews. I Went in to get solar nails removed and got a gel French manicure. I give them five stars based on the fact that I wasn't cut once. My skin is dry and thin, therefore EXTREMELY easy to cut. I start sweating when the drill gets turned on. I need nice hands for work though. First nail salon where it wasn't torture, but actually enjoyable. The tech was meticulous with my removal, and the manicure. The interior isn't all fancy like a lot of the salons, but they excel at service. I got exactly what I wanted. Excellent gel manicure, no pain, reasonable outlined prices, plus a great hand massage. Time will tell on the gel manicure though. If it doesn't last you can be sure I'll be on here updating! Lol read more

Foxi Nails is the only place I will go to. It's small and is kinda hidden unless you know it's there. It's not completely luxurious with fountains and margaritas and all that, but they for sure bring it when it comes to nails. I have never once left unsatisfied. Cindy is so sweet and always makes sure that everyone that comes in feels welcomed and she talks with them. Vivian has done my nails a few times, and she is so thorough. She's done shellac manicures on me as well as acrylic nails, and she makes sure that the polish is even. She doesn't judge my ugly nails when it's been a while since I've had them done, she just works hard to make sure I leave happy. I have been to Foxi nails multiple times. Although there service is ok, they seem to comment about the customers right in front of them (in their home language), assuming the customers will not know. Today I figured that the owner was commenting about my request on toe nail design to the staff, right in front of me ( which I figured soon while talking to the staff). During my previous visit to this place to get a pedicure with toe nail design done, the staff messed up the design and the owner gave explanation that most of her customers are Whites (who don't prefer toe nail design) and that I need to ask for the staff (whose worked in the nail places where African Americans live) to get the design done. Just could not digest her discriminating explanation. I will NOT go back to this place again. read more
