It's ok, I have been here before for gel nails and The nails always were down hill by the beginning of the second week. I got nexgen nails here and they turned out pretty good, the young lady nicked me quite a few times with the drill needlessly but I think they are pretty good overall. This nail salon has one nail tech that knows what she is doing. The first tech left dips in my nails. The second tech left Emory board cuts in the nails and dips on the side. The polishing is crooked with bubbles. Having complained to the tech who is good was a waste of time as her answer was its the polish. One more coat. I left and she asked that I come back so that she could repair. Again she didn't acknowledge the problem that everyone else could see. NEVER AGAIN! One star is too many. read more

The customer service is lacking and the skill set is minimal. The technicians all speak to each other in their own language and ignore their customers. My technicians have barely ever say one word to me the whole time... Awkward. (With the exception of Vivian who is a doll and great at what she does.) My latest experience was my last. The technician messed up a nail and tried to cover it up instead of redoing it. I finally had to ask her to redo it, which I hated doing. Additionally, she nicked my cuticles and I immediately pulled away. She pulled my hand back and swore she did not cut me. She kept doing it and ignored the pain I was in and my repeated plea to stop nicking me. I could see the blood on some of them... and more importantly, feel the pain! I am done giving them chances. I can get Nexgen for $35 elsewhere without the suffering and awkwardness. I have found quite a few places in the area and have yet to get one nick. Score! read more

I recently moved to Dallas and decided to try Foxi nails since it was near my apartment and I needed a quick fix for horrible nails I had gotten done elsewhere. They removed and fixed my nails. I got dip powder and they did a great job. They also had refreshements available and the ladies were very nice although there was a bit of a language barrier. read more

I broke a nail on Saturday while out doing stuff for Conquer Chiari with Aimee Z. I was a little frustrated because these are my real nails and it didn't break completely off, but I knew I needed help. They were very friendly and even though I didn't have an appointment, got me right in. I was impressed with the level of business they had at 11:30ish on a Sunday morning. My technician rarely spoke to me, other than to ask me a question of two. She did a great job on my toes and did repair my nail. What she didn't do was ask if I wanted my nails trimmed back or clarify with me what I wanted done. She thought I was finished after the pedicure. Overall, I thought she did a great job on my toes and the fact she was able to fix my nail was a positive. I saw how they treated their other customers and was impressed by that. I didn't get any extras and to be honest, I didn't really have the time. Would I go back? Yes, I probably would. Will it be my new place? Probably not. I really love the nail technician that I normally go to at a different location, but when I'm in a bind, this will probably be my place. read more

So I always get acrylic nails, and I hardly see reviews gearing towards that customer so I decided to review. I walked in to mediocre service and mediocre sanitary conditions, waited for a little while when there were multiple free techs, and when she started on my nails she acted like she was afraid to touch my hands which made me very uncomfortable. Next comes to my actual set, all I wanted was a simple coffin shape and she didnt understand what was I was talking about which was weird since its become very popular. After showing her pictures she finally starts sawing on my nails and giving me a mediocre shape, and they were very lumpy and some nails were shorter and thicker than others. I wish I got a picture of them. Maybe if you're going in for pedicure or polish you'll get better service and nails but if youre looking for a quality acrylic set, I'd pass dont let the cheap prices fool you. read more

I was referred to Ly Ly at Foxi nails by a friend, I had been going to another salon and the nail technician I was seeing had a car accident and they didn't know when she would return. I was at a loss because I didn't like anyone else at the salon I was going to. I decided to give this referral a try. I will say this place isn't fancy unlike the place I had been going, but that is the only negative. Ly Ly did an amazing job. She speaks great English and listened to all my requests. I hate to say it but this is my NEW place. I will definitely be back. If your looking for a nice, friendly, clean place to have your nails done then defiantly give this place a try. If you want to feel like your in a chop shop rushed in and out then this place is not for you! They take their time with you and make sure everything is perfect before you leave!! read more

They clipped my cuticles wayyyyy too short so it ended up bleeding. Then the lady tried to wipe away the blood with the acetone soaked cotton balls. I almost cried in pain. She did this to 2 fingers. Painful. Very painful. Not recommended. read more

I have been going here for quite some time! All of the girls are wonderful. They are usually kind of busy so an appointment is a great idea! Every one of the girls is great! I am super picky about my nails and have been getting them done for 10+ years and they are always perfect every time i leave Foxi. The prices are great too! I get solar nails and pay $25 for a fill and a french deluxe pedicure is only $30!! what more can you ask for! I recommend this salon to everyone I know! read more

I went to Foxi, my pedicure was on point! Nothing bad to say. But my fill on the other hand wasn't all that the reviews hyped them up for. I spent $69 for a pedicure, a fill and gel polish for feet & hands. Kind of pricey. I have a couple complaints. It's been maybe 2 weeks if that, and my nails have already started lifting, and when the lady polished my nails she didn't polish my nails down at to the cuticle. I had to tell her 3 times, go down more, it looks as if my nails have already started to grow out. Of course she spoke her lingo to the other ladies, I know she was talking shit cause I made her cover the entire nail. But why wouldn't you!? Again nothing negative about my pedicure. I will go again, because my pedicure was hands down great. I'll try another lady for my hands.... the pedicure sold me, but if I can't get the nails right, because that's a package deal in my book. I'll find another nail shop. I still think $69 is a little pricey tho. But I'll agree with the reviews, the owner/Cindy seemed pretty nice, it was my first visit. read more

They did an ok job, my acrylic was a little thick but they did do the white tip thickness well. Prices are cheaper than other places. For pink and white 30 instead of the usual 35. The ladies there are super nice and friendly and they try to meet your needs. read more

I have been working with Tina and Samantha for the last several years....they are great. They provide a great mani/pedi ....and are really thorough. i had two ladies do my gel manicure. the second lady who has short bob, seems like she was in charge of the place, speaks good english, seasoned manicurist, was impatient with me. She was standing up the entire time while painting my gel nails as fast as possible, trying to rush me because she said she had another appt. soon. I felt like it was an assembly line, and did not feel relaxed at all. When I asked her to fix the nail polish that was left over on my cuticle and under nail, and around my nail bed, she said that "It is supposed to be like that to protect nail colors from chipping." um...excuse me?? Never have i ever heard this excuse before to not want to clean up the mess on my nails. She also blamed me for hitting the lamp which caused the bump on some of my nails. However, those bumps are not scabs, they are thick, which means the manicurist painted too thick and gave me some clumps. Absolutely disappointed and annoyed at their attitude and speedy, yet not quality service. I WILL NOT RETURN read more
