This is my healthy indulgence. I find myself craving the Quinoa bowl which surprises me! I have also loved every soup I have tried. Occasionally, I get a drink, smoothie, cold oatmeal dish. I have loved all but a couple of smoothies ( which I found undrinkable). However, their pricing will leave you scratching your head. I am willing to pay more for awesome, healthy food though I really can't help but feel ripped off when I come here. A tiny bowl of soup for $9 ( and you don't even get a cracker or roll with it?). My wife and I eat here all the time. The food is great, although we usually only make it out for breakfast. The pier panini is delicious as is the frittata. I love working out of this shop! Plenty of plugs and free wifi. Plus the food is healthy and tastes fabulous. It can get a bit warm in there on a very hot day (they either don't have AC or are choosing to conserve energy) but you are close enough to the ocean to catch a breeze. FYI, Try to park on a side-street for free 2 hour parking... Just be sure to watch your time! read more

Super trendy brunch place. Order at the counter. I had the toasted egg/garlic aioli sandwich and it was delish. Lots of fresh juices to try and plenty of coffee items. Overall a great place to cure a hangover or people watch the snooty locals going to and from. Little pricey but you are at the beach. read more

I'm disappointed to write a low rating review for this spot because the food is actually good and a it's nice to have a healthy spot in hermosa beach. Unfortunately the operations are inefficient. For example the line is very long with only one person taking orders. There's no separate place to pay for or pick up a to-go order and you can be sure the cashier will be condescending when telling you to wait in line even though you called an order in 20 minutes ago. I come here once a week and will not be returning after today's service. I guess they're just going downhill... The place started out so great with friendly employees but it appears as though priorities have shifted. read more

I'm not a vegetarian - not even close! So I was pretty sure I would be going hungry here. I ended up having probably the only non-vegetarian dish they had, which was a Chicken salad, and was very pleasantly surprised. I can't say I'll be rushing back, only because the menu don't offer the carnivore in me much, but as a place to eat and have a great meal - this turned out to be a winner. read more

My parents and I had a relaxing Saturday morning breakfast. The place was clean and well lit. The help was friendly and our orders were served promptly. Love their menu! Love their food! This is a perfect healthy lunch or snack spot. Service is usually very friendly except for this one gal who seems to be more interested in gossiping with her co-workers than serving customers. So just ignore her and order my favorite - the organic egg frittata served with fresh sliced strawberries and orange. I also love the Kale Salad which is super yummy - but sometimes over-dressed. I work down by this side of the beach and was pleasantly surprised to stumble on this gem of a cafe. Friend of mine suggested it one rainy afternoon and we had such a tasty experience that we've come back to enjoy their artisan coffee and sandwiches almost regularly. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they make a delicious latte whether you like it hot or cold. It's stylish, clean and airy. I like the rustic wood decor and the open glass doors with their curtains leading to the outside sitting area. It's breezy but cozy. You could spend hours getting work done or chatting up with someone if you like. The food is a bit overpriced but I suppose that's the tab you pay for organic, all-natural ingredients. They've got an array of savory breakfast and lunch options should you find yourself craving just that. Just off pier, source is a great little spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. Tons of options for organic super smoothies. My favorite is the coconut delight. Jammed packed with coconut milk, oil, avocado, coca nibs and dates. Perfect power smoothie to start the day or cure a weekend hangover. Great place for studying or getting work done as well. My friend and I dropped in for an afternoon pick me up today. We came in close to closing, about ten minutes prior, but that's no excuse for the quality of drinks we ended up receiving. My friend got a hot chai latte, which had way too much cinnamon. she switched for a hot green tea latte which ended up being worse; it was extremely powdery, flavorless, & had too much foam. (I tried her drinks too) I got an iced latte which was okay, not worth the price. The espresso used in the drink was definitely burnt and had a bitter taste. I ended having to add a lot of sugar & some cinnamon to make it taste okay. Overall sad that we didn't have a pleasant experience. read more

We ended up here while driving home from Redondo Beach. Cute little place in a neat neighborhood. The food here is VERY healthy and while I don't eat like a complete pig, it appeared to be a little too much so for my tastes. Cozy, airy, comfy cafe..just the right amount of breeze and smell of the beach..workers there are very friendly and are helpful if you don't know what to order. Ordered the popeye's acai smoothie, iced coffee, tuna garbanzo salad, turkey panini. I gotta say, everything was so darn healthy and good. Food looks healthy and even more tasty.
