This place is adjacent to a co-op market in downtown Everett. It's wholesome and well done food, the atmosphere is very understated, lots of retro tables and chairs from previous eras. There's no table service, you pick up your food at the counter and go find an open seat in the dining area or do takeout. The baked goods are outstanding, they make very good sandwiches and soups, and the coffee and tea are first rate. If you want a good lunch spot without a lot of pizzazz, this is a great place to eat. read more

Don't let the appearance fool you, this place had outstanding food. The vegan taco salad was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. The meal had moderate spice. My wife had the classic burger and said it was one of the best burgers she's had in a very long time. Got the kids the vegan meatball sub and they both devoured it. I can go to more authentic Mexican restaurants and get a breakfast burrito for less than $10 and it contains the same basic ingredients three eggs probably less than half a potato and maybe 2 to 3 slices of bacon plus some shredded cheese and flour tortilla for $15. Next time I am definitely just going to make my own because eating out has just become ridiculous. I give the four stars because the food was good and it was great for convenience, but the cost is too much. read more

I'm very happy this place has extended hours now and I'm glad they are doing so well. I've enjoyed a BLT on sourdough and cup of soup twice recently and it was the best BLT I've had in a restaurant. Their soups are always good as well. Last weekend I tried their breakfast menu and that was excellent as well. We ordered the sisters slam and biscuits and gravy breakfast. Both were very good, I wanted to order the hash but in just the first hour of being open they'd sold out. I just recently learned about their dinner menu (I can't believe I didn't know but on the night I had the BLT, as I was exiting. I saw a woman with an amazing piece of pot roast on a plate and asked what that was) that happens after four which includes pot roast, and cheesy grits with shrimp. I look forward to trying some new things soon, if you go there for dinner, be sure to ask for the dinner menu because it's not up on the wall yet. I love the ambience and the fact that it's casual but very charming and homey, I know their desserts are excellent, all the food tastes like real food and there's something very comforting about having a home cooked meal that someone else prepared. I stopped into Sister's for a quick lunch while passing through. Free street parking can be found. Visa is an accepted form of payment. The building itself is old. There isn't AC so it was hot and stuffy during my visit. Tables are mismatched and reminded me of what one would find in their grandmother's house. Clientele were elderly while staff members were on the hippie side. Orders are placed at the front counter and delivered to your table. That is the extent of staff service. I ordered a Turkey Sandwich for $8.75. The menu stated sprouts came on my sandwich; however, my sandwich was missing them. My sandwich was average. The sandwiches I prepare at home are actually better. The side of tortilla chips should be swapped out with potato chips (Ruffle's, Lay's or Tim's). Overall, my lunch was decent and fairly priced. Staff members didn't leave much of an impression. I will look to other sandwich shops in the future when craving a sandwich for lunch. read more

So bummed about Sisters. Before Covid this place was always fantastic. Now, with the new owners, my go-to spot for biscuits and gravy is not The Sisters. Before, you could easily tell the gravy was made in house and was the best around. Your biscuits would swim in gravy and now the gravy barely covered the tops of the biscuits. No seasoning and the ground sausage is barely noticeable. I took my son here because biscuits and gravy is his favorite breakfast dish. We both ordered eggs over medium and they were cooked over hard. The side of bacon also was a huge disappointment. Before you'd get four thick slices and this time I was given two and my son was given three super thin pieces. Please go back to the original recipe and quality of food. read more

This review is for the baked goods. They are insanely good and highly recommend coming in here. The vibe here is definitely your grandmas kitchen which I love. Might not be the best for a business meeting but is perfect for a sunday brunch, catching up with family or lunch with friends. I had the salmon sandwich. it was flavorful but small portion of fish. I read that my ab-solute FAVE place in Downtown Everett was opening back up and my eyes perked! Conveniently located right next to the co-op, Sisters is an institution in Downtown Everett. Long before toys were the hot commodity, it was soup, sandwiches, and breakfast done right. Or that's what the paper said today... What I know is I came in there for the carrot cake on one of their first days back open and it was perfect. Folks just don't make homemade food like this anymore. It looked like the whole operation was family, and I just can't get enough of that kinda thing. I'm very excited to make my way through the menu when I go to the co-op (or as my friends call it "whole paycheck") Also veg-heads and flexible blood mouths, looks like they upped their vegan fare! The presentation was a work of ART; an open faced bun with an array of multi-colored fresh lettuces, various onions, ripe tomato, tasty pickles, perfectly melted provolone all brought out the wonderful ground beef flavor. It was not adulterated with mayo, mustard, ketchup to detract from its spectacular, yet simple goodness. It was a mouthful of flavor & the lightly toasted bun reminded me of my Mom's freshly baked bread. How can a simple burger be an over the top culinary experience? Ok. My husband and I have had breakfast at a LOT of different places, but the eggs here are so good I even asked to speak to the cook. It's semi self serve as you need to grab your coffee or water before sitting down, the actual servers were polite and courteous. There is a large home style dining area with plenty of seating. They tried coming in here to eat a few years ago stood there at the register for 10 minutes and I ones came to take my order so I never went back until today when a friend wanted to meet up for breakfast and suggest we meet there, so I gave it another shot. This place is incredible. The food is exactly what you want from this style of cafe: delicious, healthy choices if desired and options for anyone from vegan to meat-eater. I live in Seattle and rarely visit Everett, but after discovering the nut-burger on a one-time stop through, I make a point of driving up there Everett just to eat at Sisters. Taco Salad, Tuna Melt, Reuben and Nut burger are all stellar. I've tried at least one baked good each time I visit, too, and dang, they're delightful! The pumpkin pie a few days ago blew my mind. This is a very quaint little restaurant in downtown Everett. I like to bring anyone who hasn't been here before because it's just so Everett. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. I love the atmosphere and the food...with one exception....DO NOT ORDER THE CAESAR SALAD! Literally it's just romaine lettuce drowning in vinegar and some sort of cheese. The leaves are sloppy wet. This is not any kind of Cesar salad I have ever had. the absolute worst and the sides affects are just too gross to mention. Just trust me and save yourself, don't order it!
