Very casual place. Order at the counter and pick a table in the large room. They bring your food to the table and later you bus your own dishes. Reminded me of a 70's college town restaurant. I really enjoyed my vegetarian sandwich on very fresh whole wheat bread. I included cheddar cheese and Chipotle aioli. Yum. My friend had a breakfast dish and enjoyed that as well. Next time a piece of pie for sure!

We had lunch here when we were visiting Everett. It was so delicious we came back for breakfast the next day and brought ten of our closest friends!! For lunch I had the turkey sandwich (delicious) and my husband had the breakfast burrito (also outstanding) The vibe is friendly and relaxed. Tables are vintage and it has a warm friendly feeling. We enjoyed it and would come again.

Cute sandwich shop located next door to the Co-Op. You order your food at the counter and they give you a cool prop as your order number. Thankfully my wife and I were not afraid of snakes, as we got a rubber snake as our order identifier. The back room is filled with a decent number of tables. They have free water available so you don't need to stress about purchasing a beverage. I ordered the Reuben sandwich. It comes with chips or a salad. This has to be one of my top favorite Reuben sandwiches I've ever had!!! The pastrami was so flavorful. The sauerkraut was warm and had the right amount of picklyness (is that a real word?) to it. I enjoyed every bite. Would definitely get this one again.

Came here because the YouTuber Benji goes to the coop next door and my mom follows Its Judy Tims and Benji so she loves it here. Ordered a tuna melt and chips on their website and picked it up. There's a good amount of people inside. Ingredients are fresh and I like the vibes inside. The building feels like an older building with a lot of charm and pictures on the walls. Easy parking. Really close to the water as well (although no view inside).

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

Ordered Cadillac margaritas which came out quickly, not very strong, good flavor overall (not too sweet). Chips and salsa were good, guacamole could use more lime. Sister got albondigas (meatball soup), broth had a nice roasted corn base. I ordered their menudo which came with tender (clean tasting) intestines, and one pata (foot). I added some of their chili oil which was smoky and balanced. Tried their other salsitas which were also good, habanero had good heat and pineapple had a nice touch of sweetness.

But the kitchen is doing a ton of great things from scratch and the menu is huge. It's way more than just a corner Mexican spot. In long The ratings have been high forever and we've been wanting to try it for at least a year. Finally found ourselves with the right amount of time in the right location yesterday. We caught them after the lunch rush, and dude was super nice to come out and hold the door so I could wheel my bride in. There are a few flatscreens up, and in back there are single-occupant washrooms. It's not a big room, but it's festive and they clearly have regulars, judging by the warm greetings are a couple more tables filled up. We had our pick of tables and we settled in to go over the hugely long menus. Do you want something familiar or something fewer places offer? The kitchen runs the gamut here. You get fresh, light chips on the table with some delicious scratch salsa that even packs a bit of heat. We finally settled on pozole and tacos al carbon. They bring out avocado salsa and pineapple salsa, which both add a ton of good flavor. The red table salsa is where the heat is, though. The tacos were delicious, tons of juicy chopped steak inside. I went with this overly-safe pick and didn't regret it at all. The pozole was incredible, lots of real bone stewed in with the meat, tons of great flavor in the broth and super soft, tender, flavorful pork. Lots of tasty condiments. Beautifully homey and comforting soup to warm your bones on a cold wet day. We took more than half of it home--very generous portion. We also checked out a margarita and a mai tai, and both were excellent. You really have to try the food here to get the full effect of how good it is. You can kinda tell the kitchen is ambitious by reading the menu online, and that's promising for sure. But all those house-made scratch touched throughout every subrecipe will exceed even high expectations like ours. Great place, and we're dumb for taking so long to try it.
