This place is so cool! I love the rustic vibe with the awesome bar area and hanging lights! Two TVs are available. There is a patio area. All staff are wearing masks and masks are required until seated. Hours are currently Wednesday through Sunday 4pm to 10pm. First let me say the food and drinks were great. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions of food and how good everything was! I recommend the corn fritters, smoked salmon, and Baja tacos! I ordered side of their truffle aioli and it went really well with everything! Drinks: My boyfriend loved the honey reserve it's a whiskey drink that is very smooth. I got the English beet which was really good! It definitely had a strong beet taste with a touch on gin but it definitely grew on me as I drank it. The three star review is for the service. They are definitely under-staffed and it showed. It took a while for us to get anything including our waters and drinks. Our bill was also incorrect. I think with better service this could be a great restaurant and surely a perfect spot for a date night in west side El Paso!

This place is tucked backed in a corner and has a great ambiance. The lighting is low, which sets the mood, and the music is nice. After choosing a seat, one of the owners came over and shook my hand to introduce himself. He explained the menu and even offers suggestions based on what you like. The drinks are delicious and the food is beyond tasteful. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Had a meet up with besties for Friendsgiving. Decided we'd like to try Silo cuz they had live music. What a pleasant surprise! The menu isn't extensive but what we ordered was great. Mound of fries with aoli were really good. Wish the aoli had more punch. The burger was yummy! The charcuterie board was good but really needed bigger cuts and just more on the board. Our drinks were so good. I would go back just for that! I had the Pomegranate Buck. Just the perfect amount of sweet as to not hide the taste of that bourbon. The old fashioned my friend ordered was spot on. Our waitress was so sweet and on top of consistently checking on us. And I have to give a huge thank you to the manager and bartender to come around and check on our table and visit with us.

Scottish Eggs, Baja Tacos and Truffle Fries

What a great hidden gem! Restaurant sits inside a Silo to commemorate General Mills plant, the bar is modeled after The Kentucky Bar and the copper accents Asarco smelter. Service and food are 5 stars. Likely only place to serve Scottish Eggs in El Paso.

Great night of live music with Dusty Low, delicious food and craft cocktails! Fried chicken sliders and salmon salad can't be beat!

On this particular day we visited when the kitchen was closed so we had to focus on a liquid appetizer to say. The drink menu is something to admire as they were really thought out and well curated. It was in all the details from presentation to garnishes. I ordered "La Sirena" and it came in the cutest mug w a mermaid tail. Then a margarita martini (SOO good). I started with the Tiradito and Aguachile appetizers. Both FRESH and very flavorful. I enjoyed the spice my one the most. From there moved on to the fish tacos and the potatoe fingerlings side. Can I just say WOW ! The fish was fresh and not frozen. I was actually impressed with the quality . Only two come per order but pretty filling. I don't even like potatoes or fries but however the chef seasoned them and prepared the green sauce on the bottom was perfection! The service was amazing especially from Eddie the bar manager - he was engaging and knowledgeable of mixology. Truly put love into all of our drinks. Highly recommend. It's an upscale spot that's a must try!!

We started with hot and sour soup. Delicious! And given that 2 of the 4 of us have been fighting bronchitis, it opened up our sinuses! My "make it or break it" staple is pork fried rice, and their version is different but wonderful. So many places the rice is oily and saturated with soy sauce. Not here. Very simple, plentiful chunks of pork, egg and rice with scallions. Flavored perfectly and a generous portion. The star of the meal was the honey walnut prawns. They were giant prawns, served with rice and a bit of steamed broccoli. They will always be a dish on future visits! We got the special of salt and pepper fish, and it was delicious. I was expecting a whole fish but the dish was bite sized fillets, perfectly fried and depending if you ate the peppers, a nice zing of flavor. We also had beef with string beans and it was quite good. I love crispy green beans and these were perfectly done. Next time it's noodles and buns, to explore! The restaurant had nods to cities with large Chinatown communities, Seattle and San Francisco were 2 of the street signs I was, and it made me happy to have a new find for Chinese food that doesn't require a plane flight!

I really love their burgundy romantic nook which is ideal for a first date experience. It's about as close to authentic Chinese cuisine as you can get here in El Paso. We sampled several great dishes, including the Shanghai Rice Cake with Chicken, Spicy Dumplings, Szechuan String Beans, and Shrimp Fried Rice. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing authentic cooking techniques. This time my fav was their delicious Mapo tofu which is a popular, spicy Chinese dish from the Sichuan province, featuring tofu in a fiery sauce with minced pork meat, fermented broad bean paste and black beans. This creates a signature numbing sensation with bold, savory, and spicy flavor. The service was attentive, though slightly on the slower side. Overall, a wonderful experience that truly stands out in the local Chinese dining scene. This was a great dining with our Friend Dr. George!

Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.
