This is a mobile knife-sharpening service. The owner comes to your house and sharpens knives, scissors, etc. We had a number of knifes ruined by this service. We tried to contact them for assistance and got no response or call back. We did not realize they had even taken some brand new knives and proceeded to sharpen off the factory edge that was brand new. These knives were returned to us duller than they started. Although they did not ruin all of our knives, the ones they did ruin were very expensive -- roughly $300.00 worth of knives that now must be thrown into the garbage -- because so much metal was removed that the knives no longer are flush to the surface of a cutting board. These are knives we had been using DAILY and so we knew they were fine before they were sharpened by this service.
