    Chips and queso

The Shack had good drinks, but the food from the food bus was honestly some of the worst food I've had. I tried the smokeshack brisket sandwich and chips and queso. The brisket was very chewy, but the fries were decent. The chips were stale and the queso was cold and watery. The service was quick and responsive. Also, the ambiance was very nice. The lights, outside seating, games, and movie night they had were all nice touches. I would only recommend going for the drinks and atmosphere. The main shack kitchen was closed at the time, so I can't speak to that. But I would definitely not try the food bus menu.

I appreciate parking being available on the side street right near the restaurant. It's $5 for the first hour and $2 every additional hour. The greeter was kind and led me to the group I was joining. We sat near the fire pit, which was nice on a sunny but chilly day. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. The waitress was great at taking care of the group and coming back and forth to see if we needed anything. A + on the service. I ordered a orange crush and jerk tacos with chips and salsa. The orange crush was a 10/10, plus dying happy hour, they are $5. The tacos were okay, nothing spectacular. I had to spruce them up with the salsa for the chips. The jerk flavor was bland. I will be back for drinks and vibes. Oh and they have games.

We came to the shack to check out their Easter festivities and pop up market. There was a free Easter egg hunt with candy for the kids, and plenty of handmade items for sale from different vendors. Of course we decided to get food while we were there, which was honestly a little disappointing. They only had one of their kitchens open since it's technically still the off season, so I can't compare to how the food is when their full menu is available, however the portion sizes for the prices was sad. Our waitress was fantastic and very sweet, and the atmosphere was fun, with plenty of outside entertainment to keep everyone busy. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially with their full drink menu! Just be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for subpar food.

Ordered the Carne Asada nachos really really good. The service was amazing. The service is good. If you have children, you can bring them kid friendly they have games the drinks amazing. Ordered the cocktail . I wanna call it the cherry limeade with vodka in it, but I really don't know the name of it, but it was good, come check them out great atmosphere for a day or just hang out

Atmosphere: incredible Drinks: well-priced and good Service: great Food: not quite mediocre I guess good food really isn't what draws you in here anyways and it's nice that they have food options, but it was disappointing. However, we had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back for fun afternoons and evenings. Love the vibe with all of the games and the ability to be outdoors. Easy to stay cool with their cooling fans, as well. Crushes were great.

Visited on a Friday early evening with my wife and son (5 years old) and had a good time. I can't speak to the late evening crowd, but I'm sure it's much the same. Overall solid choice for a couple or a family. Pro tip - Go with the burrito! Pros: 1.) Great music! (stick figure, sublime, rebellution, iration, the movement, ziggy marley, etc.) 2.) Laid back vibe 3.) Expansive food and drink menu(s) 4.) Fantastic burritos Cons: 1.) Drinks could've been a bit stronger and less sweet. 2.) Tacos need to come with some sauce

The surrounding area is easy to walk and has a cute vibe. When we walked in, there was a short wait because the hostess was busy, but she apologized right away. It wasn't an issue for us since we weren't in a rush, and the acknowledgment was appreciated. For drinks, I ordered the mimosa sangria, which was just okay--not bad, but nothing memorable. For food, I went with Fatty's Hangover Burger ($16), topped with a fried sunny-side egg, apple-smoked bacon, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted challah roll. I added cheese for an extra $1. I don't usually order burgers, but this one was decent. It was a little peppery for my taste, but overall enjoyable. The sunny-side egg really made it, and the fries were a solid side. Overall, a convenient option if you're staying nearby or looking for a casual American styled food with a relaxed atmosphere.

The problem- we weren't planning to order any of that. They were out of EVERYTHING. The only saving grace was Justin & the food was actually very good. But- the kids wanted pizza, but no cheese. Cheeseburger? nope, no meat. Quesadilla? nope again, no proteins to put in it. Tacos? NOPE- missing ingredients. The most ridiculous? My wife wanted a cup for her beer. THEY WERE OUT OF CUPS! omg! Our server was friendly- but the service was brutally slow and they were out of several items. No idea what was going on that day. But the food we did get was decent. I had the bao buns, which were really Asian style tacos (even served on a taco stand). But the flavor was there, and it was a good bite overall. They have a decent kids menu too, with pizza, sliders and mac and cheese. Its a pretty good place to stop by the beach for a lunch, just wish the service had been faster.

I think this time was even better! We arrived around 230 on a Saturday, lucky for us happy hour started at 3 and we had a 30 minute wait for 6 people. Literally perfect timing because no one was waiting before us and about 10-20 minutes later the waiting area became packed for that 3 o clock happy hour. Side note: happy hour is from 3-7, 7 days a week! The service was phenomenal, the whole staff was so nice and accommodating. While we waited for our table, we were able to order a cocktail from one of the waitresses. We also had a baby with a stroller and they made sure we had plenty of room once we were seated at our table. The food was amazing, I'm a fan of cooked oyster but i decided to be a little spontaneous and try them raw. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean tasting these oysters were. It reminded me of eating sashimi. My wife and father in law had the lobster rolls, they both loved them! My son had the double cheeseburger from the happy hour menu, literally cannot beat this deal. $6 double cheeseburger with fries on the boardwalk is unimaginable lol. I had the Nashville hot chicken, which was good but maybe could've used a little more flavor. But the quality of the sandwich as a whole was spot on. I really don't have any complaints, this was the highlight of our day. My in laws live in Wisconsin but they travel a bunch and they said that these oysters were some of the best they had ever had. They would never see 1$ oysters where they live, so I'm glad we were able to come here and create this memory together. If you've ever debated whether taking the trip to the strip is worth it, it is! Definitely check this place out!
