"We're first-time visitors, but we're hooked! Our server, Miss, was absolutely fantastic - super attentive and on point. The food was delicious, and we'd definitely be back every time we have a track meet. Conveniently located next door to our hotel, it's a great spot to fuel up. Looking forward to our next visit!" Love the ambiance and vibe!! I feel like dancing

Mackenzie was a great server! We stopped in for drinks and snacks. We were told to sit wherever we liked so chose a fantastic high top on the porch overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Huge cups of water were brought and we enjoyed the Long Island Iced Tea and Vodka soda with the chips (meh) and salsa (mild, good), and a seemingly Miracle Whip spicy dip. The Bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers were cooked just right with a bit of crisp to the jalapeno. Mexican cheese oozed out and bacon was crispy. 5 little devils! A cool ocean breeze enhanced this lovely break from the sun with dance-worthy Spanish music providing background.

Steak, shrimp and chicken burritos

Amazing!! On boardwalk , patios, view of ocean. Didn't see the inside but noticed it was open air last night. Extensive drink menu. Had to try the margaritas flight . Enjoyed the different flavor. Peach ,Mango, Strawberry and Raspberry, draw back , went down way too easily. My Husband got the large house frozen margarita. Was strong but very good. Now food! Large menu took a while to decide. We both got burritos. Huge and excellent. I got burritos, the carnitas for me and my husband had the steak, shrimp and chicken one. Huge in size ! Took more than 1/2 home. Had it for lunch today . Still enough for lunch tomorrow. Service was very good , but not annoying. Only complaint is the wandering photographer. Popular in the south but I don't like it in restaurants. We said no and weren't bothered again. This is a must try! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Oh and have a flight for me!

Food was good, large portions, distinct flavors and presented simply but beautifully. Beer was cold refreshing and at the happy hour prices easy on the wallet. The cheese cake was good and would have been better without the sprinkles (my only complaint). The service was excellent with just enough checking in on the right times and made everyone feel good from the welcome to the good bye. The booth was comfortable and the scenery (beachfront and the ocean) was great.

Traveling from New Jersey. We stopped by late afternoon just for a quick bite with the family. Sat outside and it was pretty good. Server was a little lost and didn't know the menu very well (they were also out of a few things of the menu). We ended up ordering the appetizer platter which was pretty good overall. Drinks were good too but the "el jefe" margarita was way too expensive and they don't tell you how much it is until the bill comes out. Nice spot to go once in a while but I would not come back

Learned that this restaurant opened just 2 months ago. Amazing vibes and staff. Excellent drinks and great food. Extensive drink menu where many drinks come in small, medium and large sizes. Highly recommend for a fun time. Hope to be back soon.

Burrito Bowl Salad

The service was quite slow. I couldn't identify the waiter or waitress; I only caught whoever came by. The problem was that only one person spoke English. Our drinks didn't arrive at the same time. We had to remind someone twice to bring our drinks. My grandson's mac and cheese, as shown in the pictures, was the last to arrive (30 minutes after we got our food) and looked quite like boxed mac and cheese. On the bright side, his fries were hot. Besides the fajitas, most of the food seemed reheated and quite dry. For example, the plates were hot. We were there during the day; however, the food seemed old and overcooked, lacking the freshness you'd expect. We will not return, feeling very disappointed.

Went to this new restaurant while in town for vacation and after the first time I knew I had to be back for round 2. The second time was even better of an experience than the first one! The chips at the beginning were warm and fresh. The food came out very quickly and very very hot fresh off the grill the cheese continued to melt as I kept eating. Overall 10/10 with flavor and taste. Service was 9/10 server was around but when we needed something we could not find him. Very good at listening and everything came out correctly. When it comes to the atmosphere, it felt relaxing with a little bit of a Spanish twist. The music was great, and the decoration was perfect. Unfortunately no mariachi band that would have made it amazing. Overall I recommend going to this place and enjoying it!!

Our server was friendly, but slow. The restaurant was typical for a hotel bar and grill, meaning there was no warmth in the furnishings or decor. All in all, I won't be back, not because the food and drinks were bad, but because the price was much higher than the establishment called for.

The surrounding area is easy to walk and has a cute vibe. When we walked in, there was a short wait because the hostess was busy, but she apologized right away. It wasn't an issue for us since we weren't in a rush, and the acknowledgment was appreciated. For drinks, I ordered the mimosa sangria, which was just okay--not bad, but nothing memorable. For food, I went with Fatty's Hangover Burger ($16), topped with a fried sunny-side egg, apple-smoked bacon, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted challah roll. I added cheese for an extra $1. I don't usually order burgers, but this one was decent. It was a little peppery for my taste, but overall enjoyable. The sunny-side egg really made it, and the fries were a solid side. Overall, a convenient option if you're staying nearby or looking for a casual American styled food with a relaxed atmosphere.

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

We started with drinks and everyone enjoyed their cocktails and wine selection. Next were the starters of peel and eat shrimp and a selection of oysters. The shrimp were a good size and cooked to perfection. They came with drawn butter, cocktail sauce and extra horseradish on the side. My main was the roasted beet salad which was plentiful and flavorful. The addition of a fried goat cheese ball on the side was delicious. Others enjoyed hush puppies, lobster roll, and sashimi. All were enjoyed with rave reviews. The restaurant is a nice size, not too big and not too small. The noise level was decent as we could still have a conversation even at the bar.
