Beer Battered Fish Tacos June 21, 2025 IG: @pharmingfoodies

Came here on a Saturday early afternoon after waiting over an hour for the popular brunch place next door. Was super impressed that were able to seat our large party of 10 right away! I ordered the Fish Tacos and Oysters Eurasia and both were EXCELLENT. Our waiter was so patient and accommodating, even allowing our large group to split checks. Oysters Eurasia: Came out hot and fresh. Normally I'm not a fan of cream cheese, but actually it didn't overwhelm the oysters at all. The squeeze lemon really makes it. Highly recommend! Beer Battered Fish Tacos: Only negative was that there was a little too much coleslaw (as you can see from the pics) but even so, the fish remained super crispy?!? I was very impressed. Got it with a side of ceasar salad (my fav) and used some of the dressing on my tacos and it was *chefs kiss* Thank you to the Eurasia team for saving our day. So happy we came here - don't hesitate just because the place is empty (it doesn't mean it's not good).

I always pass this area and never knew it was tucked away in the shopping center. I came here with some colleagues to celebrate Social Work month it was really great. The staff was very nice and the food was very delicious. I will definitely come back and would recommend this place.

So full transparency, I will post another review on my next visit. I had some stiff bloody Mary's to start so I only captured a couple pictures but I had a full spread of shareables and each dish warmed my soul one by one. The flavors and dishes on the menu are unique and a fusion of different cultures stood out to me. Sushi cake bites (unfortunately not pictured) were amazing! Shout out to the chef and the creations that came out onto the table. From the outside it looks like a standard brunch spot but once you walk in and see the tables of unique eats you will not regret it.

Had a night without kids and decided on a last minute dinner date with the wife. Loved the appetizers more than the entrees. We ordered a dozen oysters that went quickly. Smaller in size but not too bad. All but one tasted good. Also ordered the chimichurri grilled octopus. The octopus was good but the chimichurri reminded me more on the curry side. Surprised how good the potatoes were with it. I ordered the pork chop and the wife ordered a NY strip. She asked for medium rare and got more medium. Service was ok prompt and didn't need to ask for refills, but nothing special. He grabbed our plates before we could say we were done. Beef carpaccio was good and the egg salad and arugula paired with it was delicious. Place is small but seemed clean and seated immediately even without reservations.

Great food, service, ambiance, and all at the cost of no wait at all. What more could you ask for. Was very pleasantly surprised my chicken wrap came out so well. They had fresh crisp veggies and a juicy chicken breast with red wine vinegar. Everything you could ask for in a wrap. All clean ingredients to make you feel good. Salad came out super fresh and tasty. Would highly recommend if you don't want to wait next door for the very busy restaurant next door.

We ordered their spin on Steak Tartare at this time with a side of cucumbers!

This is a must visit place! Been in multiple times and never had a bad experience; between wonderful food and service, you cant go wrong. Everything is fresh and its a clean cozy environment for a date or meeting up with friends. Today I tried the tuna tataki special with fried oyster mushrooms and the ceasar salad with shrimp; both were amazing meals especially when you end it with the pumpkin roll! The steak and eggs, beef cheek ravioli and fresh catch special are also delectable. For sure come hungry because you will want to try everything !

I will come back for the steak and egg it absolutely blew me away! The egg is crusted and has such great amazing texture compared to the soft texture of the meat and sauce of the short rib. I forget what the white stuff is at the bottom but it is delicious. Service was great and our server was very attentive. Parking was a hassle as always but I always end up eventually finding something. Ambiance is cute and they had an outside area as well... it was humid so we sat at a table inside. I would love to also try some other things on the menu but the steak and eggs were 10/10!

Tbh the food was nasty. It just didn't taste good. Honestly was not worth the price in one slight bit. By far one of the least enjoyable places I've been to eat at in the area. Our server was okay. Ambiance is nice but was honestly very disappointed in the food. I don't know how much I spent but I spent a pretty decent amount.

Great for Wine, Not for Dinner (Unfortunately) I don't know…read morewhy my Bestie and I keep doing this to ourselves -- we love Cooper's Hawk for the wine tastings, but every time we try to give dinner another chance... it ends the same way. After our tasting, we decided to sit down and order one of our longtime favorites: the short rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We hadn't had it in a few months because the last time was an epic fail, but we figured we'd give it another shot. As always, the pretzel bread and butter were a highlight -- that part never misses. The entrée, however, was another disappointment. The vegetables were noticeably undercooked -- still hard and crunchy -- and the dish came out with barely any sauce, even though I specifically asked for extra. For a short rib dish, you expect that rich, flavorful gravy to tie everything together... and it just wasn't there. A manager did come over after I pointed it out, and she genuinely tried to make it right, which I appreciated. We were offered another meal to take home, but at that point we were honestly just over it. To end on a positive note, I tried the Banoffee Pie for the first time (recommended by the manager), and it was actually really good -- rich, sweet, and worth trying. I also ordered their chocolate cake to go (which I usually love), but when I got home, it wasn't in the bag. I had to call for a refund, which they did handle -- but it just added to the overall frustration. At this point, it's become a pattern. When I first started coming here over a year ago, everything was consistently great. Lately, though, the dinner experience has been more miss than hit. We'll absolutely continue coming back for the wine tastings -- those are still top-tier. But for dinner? We're done trying.

We were the only patrons for much of our visit. My birthday daughter and I ordered wine sample flights and chatted up the owner. Wife shopped the gift area and picked out a nice bauble. The good: the owner was very engaging and told us about the wines (and wine slushies) they offer. We asked where the grapes came from and she explained that some came from Chile, some from California (I believe) and other places, and that she blends them here. (This would be expected with no attached vineyard.) The place was very clean, and the restrooms were easily accessible and spacious. The price of the flights was a mere $5 for six communion cup sized samples -- you choose 6 of I guess 12 - 15. Mulled wine is a welcome option on a winter day. The disappointing: While there is a good assortment of wines, and many were on the good side of okay, none stood out and said BUY A BOTTLE OF ME. The fruity sweet wines were VERY sweet, not really good for dessert wine or sipping. (Sorry.) But again, the reds especially were drinkable and pleasant. Verdict: a good stop if you need a break and a glass or two to go with your conversation. Just don't set expectations too high and you'll be fine.

In the summer I tend to gravitate toward lighter, sweeter wines, so the flight felt like the perfect choice for the day. Not surprisingly, my taste buds traveled straight to Italy. The Italian wines on the flight ended up being my favorites, with the standout being La Doria Moscato D'Asti. It was light, slightly bubbly, and perfectly balanced -- sweet but still refreshing. If you enjoy Moscato-style wines, this one was definitely the highlight of the tasting for me. The winery itself has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a glass (or a flight). They also offer a selection of light bites if you want something to snack on while you're tasting. I ordered the house biscuits with jam and butter, which are made in-house, along with an order of fries. Both worked well as simple bites alongside the wine. If I had been with a group, I probably would have ordered the charcuterie board -- the one at the table next to me looked very generous and easily shareable. Service was friendly and welcoming, and since it wasn't overly crowded when I visited, it made for a relaxed afternoon tasting experience. Side note: happy hour is from 3-7, 7 days a week! The service was phenomenal, the whole staff was so nice and accommodating. While we waited for our table, we were able to order a cocktail from one of the waitresses. We also had a baby with a stroller and they made sure we had plenty of room once we were seated at our table. The food was amazing, I'm a fan of cooked oyster but i decided to be a little spontaneous and try them raw. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean tasting these oysters were. It reminded me of eating sashimi. My wife and father in law had the lobster rolls, they both loved them! My son had the double cheeseburger from the happy hour menu, literally cannot beat this deal. $6 double cheeseburger with fries on the boardwalk is unimaginable lol. I had the Nashville hot chicken, which was good but maybe could've used a little more flavor. But the quality of the sandwich as a whole was spot on. I really don't have any complaints, this was the highlight of our day. My in laws live in Wisconsin but they travel a bunch and they said that these oysters were some of the best they had ever had.
