I brought a party of 5 to finally partake in the culinary excellence that Eurasia has to offer. As a collective we ordered- STEAK N EGGS w/ no egg : such depth in all aspects of every bite. The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. Fantastic. Service is 5 star for sure. We had a group of 12. Such a cool vibe inside. Their menu changes often. I love this. Always bringing you back in to see new dishes. I got pasta with a red vodka sauce with a pesto drizzle. It is the best pasta dish I have had in a while. My husband got the burger. I took a bite. Very flavorful and fresh. I could have eaten all of that I tasted the grilled chicken over rice. That was also good. The ambience is my favorite part of this restaurant. There was five other birthday parties going on. Well, I'll talk about two visits about a month ago. I came in and ordered some food . It wasn't a lot of food. It was just lunch. It took 45 minutes to get the food out and the food was cold so we didn't wanna wait another 45 minutes to get a replacement. Today is the second time. All I ordered was a wedge salad again 30 minutes to get my food yet. I'm the only one in restaurant. The wedge salad was not cold at all. The lettuce was really Welty. After the food, not being that great and the price you pay for it and then having to wait so long, I don't recommend this place.:( read more

It's restaurant week in Virginia Beach so we decided to have lunch at Eurasia. We started out with Hot and Sour Soup and it was very hearty and delicious. It's wonderfully balanced and oh so good! For our entree we both had the Shrimp and Grits. This dish was fantastic. It was served with a triangle polenta and gouda concoction that was slightly deep fried to create a crunchy texture on the outside and a beautiful creamy texture inside. It was so good. This place has set an entirely new bar for service for me. We arrived as a party of four including a toddler for happy hour. The entire staff from hostess to server to food runner all went out of their way to welcome our child. They gave crayons, came by to say hello, and made funny faces. We are used to the normal accommodation of children (which we expect, we know nobody finds our child as cute as we do), but this was the first time everyone seemed elated to have a toddler dining in. We were checked on frequently by many staff members, which is indicative of a true team. The restaurant interior is bright and clean. It gives a flair of sophistication without being too formal. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday evening, but we were able to get a reservation earlier that afternoon with no problem. Our party shared a combination of happy hour appetizers and full dinner entrees. The dishes were innovative and unique, and tasted amazing. The mussels in jalapeño cream were particularly delicious and something I want to return for. After dinner, we opted to take the pumpkin cheesecake home. We were pleasantly surprised to find when we arrived home that they had packed a bag of ice to keep the dessert cold on the drive home. Had a night without kids and decided on a last minute dinner date with the wife. Loved the appetizers more than the entrees. We ordered a dozen oysters that went quickly. Smaller in size but not too bad. All but one tasted good. Also ordered the chimichurri grilled octopus. The octopus was good but the chimichurri reminded me more on the curry side. Surprised how good the potatoes were with it. I ordered the pork chop and the wife ordered a NY strip. She asked for medium rare and got more medium. Service was ok prompt and didn't need to ask for refills, but nothing special. He grabbed our plates before we could say we were done. Eurasia just didn't really impress me. I've heard mixed reviews and finally went for happy hour to try a few things. The fried green tomatoes were good but nothing special. I also had the pork and shrimp dumplings, which had an interesting but not very authentic flavor. The chef's steak and eggs were tasty but felt like they were missing a little something, and the frites calamari was just okay. The highlight for me was definitely the drinks--they were really good. About 5 years ago, the first time we went to Eurasia, my husband and I could not stop raving about the food. So, I had the Chorizo Mussels. On the menu, it mentioned grilled bread, but my bread wasn't grilled or toasted at all. There were big chunks of chorizo! it didn't anything like the picture. Then I ordered the dumplings. What a wonderful evening we had at Eurasia this week. After asking for happy hour recommendations in the area, this was by far the top-suggested restaurant so we came for a date night at the bar to experience it ourselves. We came around 5, right in the middle of the 4-6pm Happy Hour rush and got lucky with seats at the bar. After a few minutes of being there, the restaurant quickly filled up and stayed very busy. Andra took care of us, giving amazing suggestions and awesome conversation. Even with a super packed bar, she was a fantastic bartender and truly made our visit memorable. We will definitely become regulars at her bar! My husband got an Old Fashioned, which he loved. Included in the Happy Hour prices, which truly can't be beat. We tried quite a few appetizers off the menu and there was nothing to complain about. Everything was well-seasoned, super flavorful, unique and we found the menu to be just eclectic enough to make it fun! I visited Eurasia Cafe with a group of three on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was a bit tricky since the lot was busy with other businesses, but we were seated right away thanks to our reservation. There were open tables, so you might be able to get a spot without a reservation. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We took advantage of the Sunday oyster special and ordered half a dozen Oysters Eurasia, half a dozen raw oysters, and shrimp and pork dumplings. I had the grilled Atlantic salmon and finished with the fruit cobbler. All the food arrived promptly and was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My husband and I had not been to Eurasia for several years but had great memories of good food here in the past so decided to enjoy a drive there on this beautiful afternoon. There is covered outdoor seating but it was breezy so opted for indoor seating and at 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon there were only a few other diners. We were seated promptly. The atmosphere is very nice with pictures of local sites on the walls. Our server was helpful, knowledgeable and kept our drinks topped off. We ordered truffle fries, calamari, chimichurri octopus over elote salad, and the salmon special with pickled veggies over rice. The food came out very promptly. All of the food was very good and eaten quickly. I didn't even get a picture of the salmon. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and the veggies and rice complimented nicely. The fries also disappeared quickly, crisp and delicious, served with mayo on the side. But the star of the show was the octopus! Tender and delicious. It is easy for octopus to not be done well but the taste and texture were perfect. The elote was ok but not great. I thought the calamari needed more seasoning in the batter but that might just be me. It was tender, well cooked. We were not offered dessert. There were many bottles of wine on the walls but we did not ask about the wine list. There were many other great options on the menu that we would have liked to try but we were quite full and the server mentioned the menu is changing next week. I hope there will be even more great options to try next time. The price with tip and one tea was about $80. I'm not afraid to pay for good food and good service in a nice atmosphere at the beach and I felt Eurasia really delivered. read more
