The sandwiches are really good, ingredients taste fresh, they don't skimp on them either. Service is good, they're polite but they need to hire help cause they can get backed up pretty quick. I know with minimum wage being raised it's going to make it hard for small businesses like this to employ the help they need, so I hope they're able to come to some kind of solution. There's not much to the ambiance, it's a small place with a counter that lines the window and a small table, but it looks clean. Overall I like this spot, but it is pricey. Two sandwiches and two smoothies for my son and I cost $42! A sandwich spot shouldn't cost that much, I understand we are all dealing with inflation but $21 for a sandwich and smoothie is excessive. I came into this shop a couple of days ago and I have to say the food is amazing I especially recommend their tuna salads unfortunately while ordering this short young man with dyedish hair was being quite rude, I have a quieter voice due to anxiety he kept raising his voice saying he couldn't hear me he even rolled his eyes once. What can I say? This place has the best sandwiches, drinks and ice cream and the sweetest owner and staff. Today I had the Zena Delight and it's just amazing. All the ingredients taste fresh. Went today for the first time. There are so many sandwich options! I went for the Raging Bull #27 and it was delicious. The bread was not super hard and the pastrami was delicious. I usually do not get a roll style for my bread because the bread is usually too tough but I went with the sourdough roll and it was perfect! I enjoyed my Kimball Jag (#24) on sourdough, my hubby enjoyed his Splash Brotha (#2) on sourdough (with no mayo, no bomb sauce, and no mustard), and my mother-in-law was happy with her vegetarian sandwich called The Green Goddess (#10) which she enjoyed on dutch crunch bread. The bread was clearly fresh and it smelled like fresh baked bread inside The Sandwhich Spot. We are excited to try more sandwiches and will return! I've been going here about once a week since they opened. Their sandwiches are great! But something has changed lately. They started using cheaper paper to wrap the sandwich, now they use cheaper,flimsy and smaller cups for fountain drinks. They use to have very nice napkins, now it's the scratchy kind of papertowels you find in public restrooms. I'm sure they're saving a lot of $$ on low quality items but as a frequent customer.. This place is amazing ! I especially love their Kimball Jag. I do have a concern though. I came in a couple days ago with my daughter and there was a young man working. He took my order and cashed me out. I noticed he had this extreme attitude and continued looking at my little girl in a strange way. It was a bit unusual but I didn't want to jump to conclusions. As he handed me my sandwich he was extremely and unacceptably aggressive. I noticed a girl in the back notice almost as shocked as me. I took my sandwich and left. I looked back to see this young man ROLL his eyes! I looked at my receipt and found out his name was Eight. I went home and talked to my family friends about the situation to find out they have had the same problem with him. This is unacceptable and I hope he gets exterminated soon. read more

I'm giving 2 stars as I've been here a few times with my family and have always enjoyed the food. However the last time we went they gave my wife the wrong sandwich. Not a big deal, everyone makes a mistake. The next time we go in and tell them about it they gave her a free sandwich to fix it. When we get home they had put no tomato on a BLT. So I called them about it as I just wanted to let them know because I didn't want to go all the way back for tomato. Where they lost me as a customer was when she called me back to argue with me that they put tomato on the sandwich. Ever since this spot opened up, my sister and I can not get enough of their sandwiches. Being located right next to the school just makes it easier for us to visit once or twice a week.
