Every time I go to foster freeze, I always get their burritos or corn dogs or chili cheese fries... It's nostalgic for me. I grew up near Santa Cruz where Foster freeze was a thing so being that I have one here in Tracy I was super excited to go. I decided to venture off and get a classic with cheese guys. This is not a classic... This is a junior burger with cheese at best. My patty is nonexistent when typically a classic is bigger... just disappointed cause I love foster freeze but to pay double what a junior burger costs for a classic and still get a junior burger with cheese not the business...

This place is great to take the grandkids for a cheap, old fashioned outing. $3 BLT with generous bacon, $1 corn dog. Good shakes and malts. They have outside seating for taking your dogs. It's always cold inside in the winter, so bring a jacket! $2 chocolate dipped soft serve cones.

Great food at a reasonable price. Has something for everyone including the kids. Even have desserts like banana splits.

My family and I finally had time to visit this cute lil' place around Sunday noon. One thing I noticed was how there was plenty of parking and no line. Even if there was one person or two ahead of you, the cashier was ready to take your order quick and move on to the next person! You have the option to order inside or outside. There are lots of tables outside and inside, so either choice works. Also, there are people available to take your order no matter which area you choose. When I looked up Fosters Freeze, I found out that they were known for both their burgers and cones. For that reason, we couldn't resist not to try the other items on the menu. From Malts/shakes (Oreo, vanilla, snickers, and more) to desserts (banana split, cones) to burgers and sandwiches, this place gives a diner vibe despite its fast food presentation. Everything on the menu is fairly cheap or affordable. The cones were only a $1-2 and you could get them swirled. I ordered the "Crispy Chicken Burger" with their crinkly fries and a vanilla cone. The chicken burger was around $6, which wasn't too bad. I really liked how they wait to give you your cone because they know it'll melt and you wouldn't get to enjoy the taste. Talk about smart business (; Their chicken burger was impressive for a place like Fosters Freeze. The chicken wasn't salty and greasy. The freshness of the lettuce mixed with the mayonnaise balanced with the fried chicken. The bun wasn't too special, but the main focus was all on that chicken! The fries were something else. It's definitely a staple to get a sandwich or burger with fries and i was GLAD I did. I don't even know how to describe their fries. It had so much flavor and was cooked until it was literally golden brown. It had a bit more depth to it than your normal McDonalds fries and actually tasted like they put more work into it. As for the vanilla cone, the price was a tiny bit more expensive than your dollar Ikea cone. But let me tell y'all, the quality of their soft serve is worth the extra penny. It's not super sweet, which made me enjoy my cone a lot more. It has that hint of sweetness though that'll make you keep licking it. Although the color is a bit more yellow than white, it remains thick and light at the same time. You take one look at it and you're like "Can I even fit this in my mouth?" Despite all the good things I have been saying, you're probably wondering why I knocked off half a star. Just know that not a large amount of places like Fosters Freeze match up to their quality. This place has no serious problems. The banana split we ordered, however, wasn't amazing. My dad was craving it, so we had to give it a try. It was placed in a plastic container and it seemed cheap. It was definitely something you could make at home! However, I really liked the pineapples they give you at the bottom. I thought that was pretty unique.

We used to love coming here but now everything tastes like the pine-sol that they clean with. It ruins everything. So sad.

Review #1,064 Posted on 6.4.26…read more We came here for dessert after dinner on Friday night the 29th. This spot is located on Naglee right next to Kid's Care Dental. I wasn't sure if this was a chain or not, but looks like it's not. It's got its own unique style of stuff and ways of serving ice cream. 100% the way to go is to get the 4 flavor sampler for $9.75, the scoops are basically normal size. My favorite ice cream I tried was the Taro Mochi, it had little chunks/bits of chewy mochi in it, so good. They've got a countertop to sit at with connect 4, tic tac toe, and other games to play. This place is awesome, will be back for sure.

Unfortunately, one of the ice creams was missing from our order. When I politely showed the employee my receipt and explained that the ice cream was missing, she responded with a very rude and frustrated attitude, saying, "Well, it didn't show it on my screen." There was no apology or attempt to acknowledge the mistake. Instead, she appeared irritated, threw the ice cream away, made a new one, and walked away. We completely understand that mistakes happen, especially with self-ordering systems. What was upsetting was the way we were treated when we simply pointed out the mistake. A basic apology and a little courtesy would have gone a long way. We came in with our children expecting a simple, enjoyable ice cream outing and unfortunately left with a very negative impression because of the way this employee handled the situation. Customer service matters, and this was anything but welcoming or professional.

I gave Christina our vision--a soft wildflower and rainbow theme for welcoming our baby girl--and she brought it to life beautifully. The pastel rainbow, flowers, butterflies, soft pink and green details, and the "Welcome Baby Girl" lettering all came together perfectly. It was elegant, sweet, and whimsical without being overdone. It honestly became one of the centerpieces of the entire shower, and we received so many compliments on it. Beyond her talent, Christina was just an incredibly wonderful person to work with. I came to her on a relatively quick turnaround and with a budget I needed to stay within. She listened to me, worked with me, and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. There was never any pressure or difficulty--just kindness, cooperation, and a genuine desire to make sure we were happy. What impressed me most was how humble she was. Christina is clearly very talented, but she carries herself with such kindness and sincerity. You can tell she cares about her customers and understands that these cakes are attached to important moments in people's lives. This one certainly was. We are preparing to welcome our baby girl, and this shower meant a great deal to our family. Christina created something that fit that moment perfectly and will now be part of our memories and pictures from that day forever. I sincerely hope Sweet Arts continues to grow and thrive because Christina deserves it. When you find a small business owner who combines genuine talent with this level of kindness, patience, flexibility, and care, you want to see them succeed. If you're in Tracy or the surrounding area and need a cake for a special occasion, give Christina at Sweet Arts an opportunity. I would recommend her without hesitation. Thank you, Christina, for helping make such an important day for our family even more beautiful.
