They were polite, easy to communicate with, neat and tidy, with cleanup each day, and even did some minor repairs not related to the deck or ramp. WE LOVE MARTIN SANCHEZ AND SANCHEZ BUILDERS! Martin and his team did a complete kitchen and media room renovation for us and we couldn't be happier. He is so knowledgeable, professional and kind. Best contractor you can hope to find. His team (especially Jesus) is so hardworking and courteous. They clean up thoroughly every day and even before they go on lunch break! His team spent more than an entire day just setting up a makeshift kitchen for us in the garage. The subcontractors he used were also amazing. A special shout out to Raphael, best painter around with awesome taste in music! And also Byron Fuentes, who handled the marble counter fabrication/installation. Our renovation was not an easy, cookie cutter renovation. See attached pictures to see what beautiful work they did. All the cabinets were custom built locally and we had a lot of special custom work done. Martin's attention to detail and professionalism made everything go smoothly. For example, one of the last items to be installed was a hand-fabricated custom zinc hood with an external blower. The installation was really difficult and on a Saturday Martin and his team had to reroute a couple of drainage pipes in the ceiling which were crossing the intended path of the new flue. He called two plumbers and they got it done in a matter of a few hours. We really got to know Martin and consider him a friend. As much as we love our new kitchen, we actually miss Martin being here everyday. How many people can say that about their contractor?! He is such a warm and generous person. You can tell he treats his crew really well. He often would buy us lunch and even brought us homemade breakfast burritos. Their work is top notch. Dealing with Martin is easy and stress free. He has been working in construction all his life and is actually "working" on site, side by side his team, leading the way. This review is long overdue. We were introduced to Martin through a neighbor who raved about Martin and his crew after a kitchen and laundry room renovation. My husband and I checked out the work and it looked amazing. When Martin came by to meet us to get introduced and hear about our project, we immediately felt comfortable with him and could see ourselves doing business with this person on a daily basis for a long project. Fast forward to when we kicked off our home remodel, we were constantly impressed. Martin and his guys started on the planned kickoff date, were always on time, so courteous and polite, and did an incredible job cleaning up daily (my husband and I were living through the construction and were newly pregnant so limiting dust was important). Martin always had people lined up for us to talk to for materials we were buying and we had great experiences with those he had relationships with. If there were any issues that came up Martin made sure we were taken care of. We ended up completing our remodel on time and budget right when our baby was born which made becoming new parents a lot smoother. I found Martin on Yelp actually. From beginning to end he ensured my satisfaction. His employees completed the job in the time frame he provided and treated my home as if it were his. They cleaned up everyday and did a full clean up upon completion, including my backyard where they cut the tile. He worked with us on the pricing so we could afford the project; within reason obviously. I couldn't be more happy with my new master bathroom. He doesn't usually answer his phone but he always calls back same day. Our family home flooded, so I had the pleasure of looking for a contractor to get us put back together. A yelp search brought me to Sanchez Builders. I spoke with Mr.Sanchez and we set an appointment. He let me know he couldn't start the job for a few weeks and that we probably wanted someone sooner. I told him it was ok and we would see him Saturday. He agreed and said he would give me a call Friday to verify the 12 o'clock time. Friday afternoon came and went. My attempt at contact was unanswered so I had my husband call on his phone...what do you know, he answered. He changed the time to 5-5:30 and said he would call when he was close by so we would know to go to the house to meet up....we never received that call. We never heard from him. We met Martin and his team through our real estate agent who recommended him to re-sand our floors. They did an amazing job on them. As a result we used them again on our new place in Danville. It all started with Martin coming onsite for a bid to paint and do some general repairs. I was impressed with his attention to detail and how he planned to get the work done correctly. Once we agreed to the details of the work Martin and his team came onsite and started prepping for paint. They spent more than a week just on prep. After they painted They addressed my gutters, decking issues and worked in the attic. They worked clean and never left a mess. I think the best thing is that Martin and his guys really want to serve the customer. Every little thing I brought up was addressed almost immediately, they never sat on my requests and did a lot of little extras to make me appreciate them that much more. Martin is truly exceptional contractor with a complete focus on making sure you are happy with every aspect of the work! He is leading his team and subcontractors to completely renovate our kitchen - moving everything in the kitchen (bigger island, moving cabinets, moving windows, etc.), raising the ceiling to the roofline, installing 2 skylights, adding two new huge sliding open doors (like nanawalls), moving the furnace to the attic, etc. It is a combination of structural and framing working as well as all the finishing touches. Martin has been super accommodating as we have made decisions while the work progressed and always has great ideas and recommendations that he thinks we'll like - and is usually spot on! Also Martin has a fairly unique ability to make you feel good even when you want something that requires him to do extra work! He suggests ways to get the look/function we want and suggests ways to save costs and time. Martin (owner) and his crew are extremely professional from start to finish, very personable, reliable, and of course most importantly their quality of work is excellent. Martin's knowledge and ability to understand the proper methods and approach to a job was clearly evident when he first came out to provide an estimate. Our job consisted of replacement of windows and patio doors throughout the house. There were several challenges that they ran into but negotiated it all flawlessly. We had several other major jobs completed prior to hiring Martin and really regret not meeting him sooner. I will also say that Martin's crew was excellent as well. Often times a contractor will show up to give an estimate and then turn the job over to subs and is rarely seen on the job. Martin, Vincente and several others that came for particular parts of the job were absolutely fantastic. We had the wiring in the house we rent re-done by a different contractor and substantial patchwork (mud, base boards, crown molding, painting) was needed. Martin and his team were very professional, friendly to our kids and animals, and the best part was how clean they were day in and day out. They also insulated both the attic, subfloor, and hung a new front door, which ended up requiring all new framing. Tons of attention to detail in the work and since we were still living in the house while the work was being carried out, they always cleaned up at the end of the day so well that you wouldn't have known they they were there.
