My sister had been there before so she knew exactly what she wanted. We placed our order and sat at the main table. There's a lot of space and a lot of areas to sit, which was really nice. We were able to talk and look through some books we had brought, I just really enjoyed this space Our coffees were amazing. I can't remember what my sister talked to me into having, but it was really strong, but not bitter. Very smooth. She did give me a taste of hers as well and I really enjoyed it. My sister had some questions about some of the artwork and pastries when we were leaving, and the staff was able to answer all her questions and we're very very friendly

It's definitely the nicest cafe in an already gentrifying area. It's nice to see. Junia is the quintessential manifestation of the 4th wave of coffee, and it's such a joy to experience. This isn't Starbucks so don't expect that kind of experience. The coffee is solid. The hojicha latte is extraordinary. I'll be coming back to try the other drinks, but it has been a very positive experience thus far. Parking can be a little tough as it's street parking, but usually you can park a few streets down in the residential area.

Huge ups to coffee shops that make their syrups in house with real ingredients and it really shows through in the drinks. He even let me try the syrups - I had the blueberry, biscoff, rosemary and fig syrup. All were so good but I think what was really unique was what my partner got which was the blueberry chai. I ended up getting the rosemary fig latte which was earthy and interesting. The space is huge and there's tables in the front and there's a speakeasy spot in the back for people to hang. It's a real functioning water shop too which is cool. Will be back to try more!

They literally sell water on the side (so quirky, and decent pricing, love it), but the real star is the cafe. The layout is chef's kiss -- super aesthetic decor, cool little pieces everywhere, and don't even get me started on the BIG ORANGE COUCH. Like... it deserves its own Instagram account. Now, the drinks: Me: Dirty Biscoff Chai Latte w/ oat milk + espresso shot 10000/10. I asked for light ice and the barista actually checked with me mid-pour if the amount was okay . Starbucks could NEVER. The flavor harmony was unreal -- espresso, biscoff, chai all blending perfectly without overpowering each other. Sonny: Strawberry Rose Matcha w/ oat milk 8.5/10, perfectly sweet and floral. Rabsang: 8/10 Blueberry Matcha w/ whole milk solid, but he wished he'd gone oat milk instead. Iber: 9/10 Peach Cobbler Matcha w/ oat milk legit tastes like pie in a cup. This place is a whole vibe. Drinks are creative, staff is thoughtful, and the space is aesthetic AF. Highly recommend for the cozy lounge energy and plzzz have some patience while the gentleman running the cafe COOOOOKKKKssss if you want matcha magic .

The service wasn't great and only one drink was good or correct. I'm still not 100% sure one of…read morethem was the correct drink. I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

Loveee this place. Been going here since they were opened. I don't go as much as I used to anymore,…read morebut I still come back to it once in awhile. I also noticed manyyyyy complaints about how their cup isn't filled up because they ask for no ice. Not that I am biased, but.. if they either (a) add more water; it dilutes the flavor. Then they'll start complaining that it tastes "watery". Or (b), adding more tea, it can make it taste too strong or bitter. Adding extra of (a)/(b) to compensate for the missing ice would mess up the flavor. They are not being stingy, they are just maintaining consistent quality. Other people might say that they ask for no ice at Starbucks, and their cup is always filled up. They are prioritizing customer satisfaction by filling up the cup, even if it changes the drink's intended taste very SLIGHTLY. To me, I see that this boba shop prioritizes maintaining the tea's quality over simply filling the cup to the brim. They're ensuring the taste is consistent with what's expected. They also switched to self ordering instead of them taking your order. Makes it easier but I prefer an employee taking my order. Also, the boba quality is different compared from years ago. But I don't add boba to my drinks anymore so it's whatever! They also used to make drinks really quick, it takes quite awhile now. Still a 10/10 boba shop!

Review #990 2026-060…read more Drinks Order: Peach Jasmine Tea with Crystal Boba $5.60 Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher with Lychee Jelly $6.60 Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba $7 Cafe Pruvia is located on the east side of Pacific Square Shopping Center while traversing over a bunch of speed bumps to reach the cafe. With several boba/tea shops in the same plaza, I'm guessing they're trying to capitalize on the high foot traffic from Tokyo Central & Main supermarket, & their competitors ("boba clusters")? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order & saw someone exit with a bright green drink; the cashier said it's one of their more popular refreshers: Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher, & ordered it with lychee jelly. It's basically a slushy with passionfruit & green apple, but the flavor isn't as sharp, though it paired well with the jelly. I love peach, & their Peach Jasmine Tea is perfect for the summer... light, refreshing, & aromatically alluring with the combo of jasmine & peach. I prefer the Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba, which I claimed for my Local By Toast (LBT) $5 birthday reward. This slush has a notable peach flavor & crystal boba tastes better in this icy drink because it maintains its soft, chewy texture whereas tapioca pearls usually hardens & becomes tough after longer icy exposure. The menu is compact, consisting of: milk & flavored teas, non-caffeinated drinks, swirls, refreshers, crema (milk smoothies), coffees & coffee lattes, & tea lattes, with moderate prices in this competitive neighborhood. It's a decent selection but nothing that I considered unique enough for dedicated loyalty with other options in this center. Not the friendliest of service, but they are fast. The cafe is quite spacious with tables & chairs lining around the perimeter... with free WiFi, there's usually a crowd hanging out, particularly during the weekend evenings. If they provided board games, would that be additional entertainment to entice customers to stay a little longer & have a few more drinks? Hmmm... Cafe Pruvia uses LBT for their loyalty rewards, & program rules allows you to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, & earning 165 points for a $5 discount (or 3%). I'm not a frequent patron so I haven't checked my rewards status in a while... I came back recently when they dropped a $5 birthday reward. That's when I checked my account & saw that I only tallied 3 points after multiple trips; their tracking system is glitchy & I don't plan to fix it since there's no way I'll spend enough to earn the next $5 reward. Opened during the pandemic lockdown for nearly 6 years, Cafe Pruvia announced that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, 05/24/26, but will maintain next door sister, Pruvia Coffee Bar. If you're a fan of their teas & smoothies, this is your last chance to say goodbye.
