Service was quick, very friendly, and knowledgeable. Wood fired grill right in the middle of restaurant, vintage wood refrigerator, butcher block counters and tables all screamed that this restaurant has a soul and character. Breakfast was so good went back same night for dinner.  This was the best steak in years and the only cut available at that time.  The side of tallow fried onion chips and mushrooms were again the best preparation of fried onion I've ever had.  House sauce was great. Each one was nearly an inch thick so it was nearly impossible to put my mouth around both those patties and the bun and the lettuce. That's OK though, I made due. Not just that, but the staff was really nice and accommodating and very friendly and talkative about what they had and helped us make the right choices.
