Great time with friends and family all visiting Helena for a wedding. The service is 10 stars and…read moreI'm bummed I did not get our sever's name. She was awesome and so much fun. Once I saw it on the menu I had to get the GIGANTIC PRETZEL (GP). It was gigantic and it was a pretzel. Great crispy outside and soft warm perfectly cooked inside. Get it, you won't regret it. We all loved it and the queso and hot mustard were a great match. I had the wings, buffalo sauce, and it came with fries. Both were really good. So much food I only ate 4 wings and 1/2 the fries. GP still weighing heavy in my gullet! The Wife had the Classic Mac and Cheese - nice taste but Luke warm instead of hot. Should have sent back to warm up. Her choice. The Kid had the brisket sandwich and garlic parm fries. The sandwich was so big., she ate 1/2 and hardly touched her fries. The fries were delish, as I had to sample a couple for review purposes. The Friend had a Buffalo chicken salad and The Other Friend had enchiladas. Both enjoyed their meals and had leftovers as the servings are generous. Great Time. Great Food. Great Service. Go! Eat Very Well!! HAVE FUN!!!

But once you get there it is pure joy and the best food!! (And although it's gotten a bad rap for slow service, I beg your pardon! This is Montana, a long drive between places is part of the experience, so we should all slow down and enjoy it! I got my craft beer in record time, and order shortly after, the waitresses were very friendly and helpful but let you take your time and enjoy the experience! My wings were Excellent, great homemade sauce with wings on a bed of fries, which caught up the dripping sauce and made a wonderful meal, paired with a salad, this was a memorable and delicious little place to relax and enjoy historic Helena and Last Chance Gulch! Do try this place if you get the Last Chance!

One does not approach a drive-in with optimism. One approaches with caution... and a lowered bar. R…read more& B Drive In, rather inconveniently, refuses to cooperate with that expectation. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the Porkie, fully prepared to deliver a measured, perhaps mildly approving critique. Instead, we were met with burgers that were... excellent. The bacon cheeseburger was rich and properly constructed, while the Porkie bordered on indulgent in a way that felt almost excessive, and yet, impossible to fault. Against our better judgment, these may be the best burgers we've had in Helena. The fries and onion rings arrived as they so rarely do elsewhere: hot, crisp, and audibly crunchy. No soggy apologies. No half-hearted effort. Just competence, executed with precision. And then, the huckleberry milkshake. A problem, frankly. Smooth, flavorful, perfectly balanced--it undermines any attempt at restraint and lingers in one's memory longer than is strictly reasonable. We are not in the habit of offering praise so freely. It sets a dangerous precedent. And yet, here we are. We will return. Not because we are easily impressed--but because, on occasion, it is worth revisiting something that insists on being this good.

They even offered to top off my coffee after we had paid. Our family recently ate there also it's always a great meal and experience. There were 7 of us and we were seated with other customers at a joined area. (Two tables pushed next to each other). I was nervous that they may be annoyed having children next to them but everything went great and I was thankful our children behaved. I miss the fun signage from the old location and don't love the restrooms at the new location. But the food is still good, and we love the portions.

I wish I was more hungry when I walked in cause I really wanted to try their "Holy Cow" style meals but could only go with the standard serving size. I ended up going with the chicken sandwich. The chicken was fried perfectly on the outside and the inside was tender and had good flavor. The fries here were very good and I would've kept ordering more of those if I had any more room. The food here is really great. It feels like the best diner food imaginable in a setting that offers so much more. The restaurant reminded me of a bigger chain but with the hometown feel. Big but cozy and personable. Our server was great and always made sure our drinks were full the whole meal. I'll be sure to come back here the next time we visit Helena.
