I love spicy food and the Hot Plus is perfection!!! My husband has loved every meat-based dish he's ordered, but he does wish there was an option to have more veggies added. Maybe something to consider. Their rice is perfectly fluffy and their cheese stuffed naan, oh my gosh, is just insane. Their food is beyond craveable. We were some of their first patrons and I have to say they keep making improvements. They've upgraded some of their furniture and menus and their hospitality has become much warmer. I think they've found their groove! I hope they have a long and successful life in Helena.

Instead we were served some strange fried onion-type "wagon wheel" things that had absolutely no flavor. When we finally asked for chips and salsa, the chips were poor quality and the salsa was extremely watery and bland. The menu was also odd for a Mexican restaurant -- lots of seafood and very few classic Mexican staples. I ordered enchiladas and they were just okay, but in a very generic, mass-produced "Sysco-style" way. Nothing tasted fresh or special. Service was also difficult. Our waitress struggled to understand basic requests, and communication was challenging throughout the meal. I asked for wine and was told they only had margaritas. The margarita itself tasted like grocery-store mix and was not good. Overall, the food quality, service, and overall experience were disappointing. Sadly, we won't be returning.

About half the items on the buffet table were either empty or looked like they'd been sitting there for hours and needed to be tossed. There were not many items left to choose from. The service was poor. It took several minutes to get seated even though there was no line, it took another few minutes for them to fill my drink order, and I was never offered a refill during my meal. The final surprise was that they charge extra for using a credit card with no advance warning. Once I knew about the charge, I told them I'd prefer to pay in cash, but gave up recognizing that it would take several minutes for them to figure out how to cancel the credit card transaction. They tried to claim the bank charged me directly, not wanting to admit that the bank charges the restaurant and that they are choosing to pass the charge along to me. Their whole attitude about the situation was off-putting. The food I was able to find at the buffet table was okay, but I will be looking elsewhere for a meal the next time I am in the area.
