Yum! There is plenty of parking at this location. There is an elevator or stairs to get you to the 2nd floor where the restaurant is. My husband had red beans and rice with the snapper and I had the shrimp boil. We sat on the back screened in porch to enjoy the view. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered the grilled flounder sandwich with a side of red beans and rice. The sandwich was actually quite tasty, and surprisingly there were two nice pieces of grilled flounder in it. I thought the flounder was good, but the red beans and rice really stood out, it was definitely my favorite. We were torn between The Reef and Shaggys last night. They have similar items but we chose "The Reef" based on the Royal Reds! They looked so good in the pictures. The other thing that pushed us in this direction was the "Crab Dip With Pita Bread" I think we made the best choice. The shrimp were so big and cooked to perfection. I cant even begin to describe how good the Crab Dip was. If I had to try and come up with any type of complaint. I would recommend whoever preps the reds. Take a little extra time to clean them better. I had a few that were not cleaned very well. The inside was nice and clean and the staff were very nice and attentive. The wait time for two people was only like 10 minutes. Thats really good considering the event "Cruising The Coast" was going on. We read all the glowing reviews so we decided to eat here. We were disappointed. The crab cakes my wife got were not good. No crab taste. The Alfredo our friend got she hardly touched. I got seafood platter and it was below average. Tiny popcorn shrimp that had little taste, the crab cake bad, hush puppies bland. The fried flounder filet was actually good. My grand daughter got the royal red shrimp boil and said it was good. Service was good. Overall it was a restaurant we will not go back too. We are from Natchez and there are many places with better seafood in town. Restaurants in our area serve jumbo butterfly shrimp on platters or when ordered alone. It's not fine dining, no white linen table clothes just good ol' Cajun eats in a large elevated restaurant right along the water in Biloxi. The parking lot is street level and somewhat of a pain to enter the lot. First level of the building is reserved for the next hurricane and wave surge. A set of steps leads to the restaurant and gift shop on the second floor. Seating is indoors or outdoors. Gift shop was OK. There is an elevator that stops at all three floors. Third level is a bar and didn't visit due to inclement weather. Orders a platter of seafood and then the wait begins. Seems like it never ended but the food did arrive and the portions were good size. Expected the food to be hot temperature wise and it was not. Shrimp had heavy bread coating and the fries were so-so . Others in the party were also not impressed. A bar and many screens keep you amused during the wait.
