The Ramp Restaurant overlooking a "Live" dock and ship yard
Mike R.

The Ramp Restaurant is a "go to" neighborhood gem. Causal, rustic setting, umbrellas, views on the San Francisco Bay waterfront, sailboats, ship yard and paddle boarders. The service is prompt, efficient and friendly. We arrived today on a glorious Sunday afternoon on a "Spring Forward" March 2026. Our hostess was very accommodating and seated me under the huge tent since it was going to require a 20 minutes wait to sit outside. They use to have on site parking when we 1st started eating at The Ramp 25 years ago. Now there is street parking only. Our hostess was very kind and offered to more our sitting outside on the deck. I quickly accepted her offer and was seated overlooking the boat dock and order our drinks before my wife had joined me from parking. I order a Blood Mary and my wife a Dragon Fruit My wife ordered the Fried Chicken Sando which looked delicious. I ordered very amble huge shrimp cocktail and oysters of the half shell along with Old Bay fries. Our setting, service, cocktails and entrees were very relaxing and prefect for a warm 75 degrees at The Ramp Restaurant.

Wow! What a great place for lunch! You can't beat the views. The food is excellent, drinks are delicious, service is fantastic. We had the tuna poke bowl & fish and chips. Drinks were the Rampage & Paloma. We will totally come back!!!!

Fries. Had a cajun seasoning. Mussels under them. Good portion

My sister-in law and I met my brother-in law here for lunch. It was spot that my recently departed came to with his brother. We are still reeling with the sudden departure, and trying to get together regularly. Brother-in-law warned us this is a different place than when they would go as the owner died and it was bought out and changed a bit. I've not been to the part of the City in ages. There is no parking and the street parking you can forget about that, but we found a place. Then you have to walk through the parking lot, which is reserved for rented storage and what looks like it used to be park of the restaurant lot has picnic table seating and umbrellas. However we got a table near the water and sat down. Service is a bit slow. Menu is not overwhelming and apparently they no longer have happy hours where oysters are a$1 and are MP. The MP apparently that day was $4 a oyster. Ordered calamari for the table, which was ok. I ordered steamed mussels which had and a curry twist to it. (the new owner is Indian). They both ordered fish and chips which looked actually better than what I had eaten at the Spinnaker a few weeks prior. Will come again for the ambiance. All three dishes came with fries which like a cajun spice on it. Over all the food was decent. It's very dog friendly and I appreciate that the GM made this woman leash her little dog which was met with a glare. (entitled much?) the other dog THAT WAS leashed was a well behaved Corgi.

This is one of those rare SF gems that actually feels like an escape. You're right on the water with boats in the background, a salty breeze, and that perfect laid-back energy that's hard to find in the city. Amazing food, delicious drinks, friendly & attentive staff, and beautiful sunsets. Doesn't get much better

Overall Rating: 4/5 Great location with plenty of cheap metered parking when we visited on a Monday evening. Super convenient! Drinks: The drinks were great! I didn't order an alcoholic drink myself, but my colleagues did, and after tasting theirs I can see why they kept ordering more rounds. Delicious and clearly well-made. Food: I went with the clam chowder bread bowl. It was decent. Warm and comforting on a cold night but nothing particularly memorable. Service: Fantastic service all around. Our bartender/server was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. Another staff member even offered to take a group photo when he saw us step outside to admire the view. We stayed for about 3-4 hours and never once felt rushed, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for a spot to grab a quick bite and drink before a Warriors game, this is a great spot! Came about a couple hours before the Warriors game and were able to get seated right away. We got a round of drinks, and shared the roasted vegetables and the house chips. The roasted vegetables were simple, but super delicious. After a long day of drinking, it was definitely a good palette cleanser. The house chips were also super good, but were not vinegary as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. The side of tartar sauce was a strange, but surprisingly great pairing with the chips. This is a great outdoor place to hang before a game or event at Chase center!

Good place to hang out & have lunch before a game or concert at the Chase Center just few steps away. You order your food through the QR code or at the window. Outside eating reminds me of a beer garden. Nice view in the back of the dock. The food I had was good. Cant beat clam chowder & fish & chips when you live the ocean. Very good portions. Will come back again maybe with more people.

Amazing on the water location with cozy decor. Various seating options inside and out and a partially indoor/outdoor section. So don't let the weather keep you from going if you're in the area! Fun drink options during happy hour. Friendly and welcoming staff. The shrimp cocktail may sound old school or dull but the freshness and homemade cocktail sauce are delish with an unexpected kick.

Always a great spot for lunch in mission Bay Area. Great burgers beer and a view. You can't ask for more. Eat outside on nice clear days so you can enjoy the gorgeous view of the bay. The burgers were excellent. Cooked to perfection. They were very flavorful and filling. The fries were pretty good. The service is great and friendly. They kept checking in to make sure everything is good.

Found this restaurant while visiting SF. Fantastic food and service to match. The fish tacos were amazing! And the drinks (margaritas) super tasty! The relaxed atmosphere added to the great food and service. A place to come back and visit over and over again!

Manager, with anger issues, denying lying about the prices.
Eitan A.

I visited this restaurant late December. Upon receiving the menu I noticed the menu does not accurately list the price of the food item. For example, the "THE RAMP LOUIE" is listed as $17 but is actually $17.68 _pretax_. This restaurant lies to customers about the price of their food and management misleads people into believing that restaurant set fees are a "tax" or a "mandate" when they are in fact neither.

Visited with a couple friends for Sunday brunch and was greeted with ample seating. We sat inside since it was cold out but still got to have a beautiful view of the water. I tried the Crab Sandwich and Fish & Chips, both of which were great! The Fish & Chips came with a dipping sauce that my friend really enjoyed. The fries were also very crispy. Overall a nice spot to stop at for a casual meal if you're in this side of town. Very close to many other waterfront parks and activities!

Leung T.

The food is nice enough but the reason to come here is to sit outside under an umbrella & look out over the water. Very pleasant.

We're not in this part of SF often, and neither of us are sports fans by any means, so a mega sports bar might seem like an odd choice, but from the reviews and pics, the spot looked fun. So on our most recent weekend trip to SF to celebrate RB's birthday, we made it a point to visit. This place is HUGE. Located in Chase Center, Splash is a two-story sports bar with TV screens everywhere. I imagine it gets packed out on game days. If you're into sports, this is definitely your happy place. I tried the Splash cocktail, which was very tasty, potent, and not overly sweet. They have a very respectable selection of various beers as well. Food-wise we opted for a couple of their sushi rolls - yes, they have sushi! We tried the Splash Roll and the Chase Heat Roll, both tasty. The food menu is pretty extensive, especially for a sports bar, and includes pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, sushi rolls, tacos, burgers, and salads. Something for everyone. Service was good, the gentlemen working the bar were nice. The space is clean and well-maintained, and reminds me of bars in Vegas. Fun spot, would return. Cheers!

The staff was friendly, the vibes were great, and the noise level was perfect for a big celebration where everyone could still talk and enjoy themselves. We had a large party of about 22 people, and the drinks were flowing all night and came out great, which definitely helped keep the celebration fun. We all ordered appetizers and entrees at the same time. The appetizers came out quickly, but things became pretty spotty once the entrees started arriving. About a third of the table received their food well before everyone else. Most of us tried to wait until the whole table had their meals before eating, but the delays between dishes coming out were so long that some people's food started getting cold. Then more confusion started happening when the staff realized some of the plates being brought to us were actually meant for other tables. It seemed like there was quite a bit of confusion happening in the kitchen. They assured us our actual orders were still coming, but by that point food just kept appearing at the table. We ended up with dishes we never ordered, which honestly felt wasteful because nobody wanted to eat food intended for another table. Of course, once it had touched our table, it made sense they couldn't reserve it elsewhere. By the time everyone finally got their correct meals, some people were no longer hungry, especially after appetizers, drinks, and the long wait in between courses. A lot of food ended up getting packed up because the timing was just so off. It turned into a bit of a debacle for such a special occasion. That said, the atmosphere and overall celebration itself were still enjoyable, and I'm glad we came. I do think this may be a better spot for smaller groups rather than very large parties, as the food timing and service coordination seemed overwhelmed by the size of ours.

We decided to go to lunch at Gott's Roadside. It is my "go-to" spot when I am near the Chase Center! We were initially worried that it would be difficult with our twin one-year old terrors, but the team at the Chase Center and the Modelo Cantina made us feel so welcome. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Food -- The food was aiite. I don't know if it was because it was a noon game, but the selection wasn't as broad as I had read in other reviews. There was chicken and waffles, papas con chorizo, rice, and beans. There was cookies and a very dry pan dulce for dessert. There was a nacho bar that also had chips and popcorn. They also served hot dogs at halftime. Typical stadium fare, nothing I would go out of way to have again. The limited open bar included wine, beer, ciders, and soft drinks. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It looks like it's currently $81 to access the cantina, which comes with unlimited food and drinks. At $20+ per alcoholic beverage, if you have two and eat your fill, you've pretty much recouped your money's worth. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The staff was incredibly accommodating. They offered to let us stow our strollers near the elevator bay so they would be out of the way. Luckily our travel strollers fold down very small and they let us stow them under the balcony table near our seats. When one server saw my husband trying to bring lukewarm water from the bathroom to heat our baby's milk, she whisked away our containers and brought hot water from the back without us even asking. The bartenders also gave super generous pours. When they saw my husband coming back repeatedly, they just gave him an entire mason jar of wine. Bonus star for the lovely staff here. Well that day was yesterday for a game against the Hawks. We got our tickets on their official resell site, TicketMaster. We got a pair of tickets for $179, for WCA row. The price included the game ticket and unlimited food and beverage for $90 a person was an absolute steal. I had the lowest of low expectations for the food, and I left pleasantly surprised. On the menu, they had carnitas tacos , which was build your own with flour tortillas. Twice baked potato skins, stuff poblano peppers, a nacho bar, salad station, popcorn, chips, and a dessert table. The buffet area isn't large, but everything we had was pretty tasty. They had these dulce de leche cannolis, which were so good, I'm ashamed at how many of these I ate, and I don't even like sweets lol Food was served until the end of the 3rd Quarter, and we were able to order drinks into the 4th Quarter. For the unlimited beverage, what was included was beer, wine, and NA drinks. The selection was solid, modelo, corona, Michelob ultra, golden state cider, and more. Not a wine drinker so didn't see what that looked like. Considering that beers cost $20 for a tall can, it's easy to get your moneys worth here if you have a few beers. While our tickets included f&b, They offer the buffet and drink package for $82, which might be a cheaper route versus buying à la carte at the various stalls throughout the arena, especially if you are seating near the club on the 2nd level. For the seats, we had a corner view so we had a great eye sight to the court. It's high up there but the views are still solid. If I'm gonna sit in the 2nd level, this is the place to be, especially if food and bev is included. We did bring cash to tip out the servers and bartenders so we didn't have to swipe our cards at any point to leave gratuity. Overall, a very solid experience. If you can get the tickets for a lower price, it's definitely one of the most underrated places to watch a game in the entire arena.
