I was fortunate enough to snag tickets to the Warriors game with Modelo Cantina tickets through work. We were initially worried that it would be difficult with our twin one-year old terrors, but the team at the Chase Center and the Modelo Cantina made us feel so welcome. Rating Breakdown: 1/2 Stars for Food -- The food was aiite. I don't know if it was because it was a noon game, but the selection wasn't as broad as I had read in other reviews. There was chicken and waffles, papas con chorizo, rice, and beans. There was cookies and a very dry pan dulce for dessert. There was a nacho bar that also had chips and popcorn. They also served hot dogs at halftime. Typical stadium fare, nothing I would go out of way to have again. The limited open bar included wine, beer, ciders, and soft drinks. 1/1 Stars for Value -- It looks like it's currently $81 to access the cantina, which comes with unlimited food and drinks. At $20+ per alcoholic beverage, if you have two and eat your fill, you've pretty much recouped your money's worth. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- The staff was incredibly accommodating. They offered to let us stow our strollers near the elevator bay so they would be out of the way. Luckily our travel strollers fold down very small and they let us stow them under the balcony table near our seats. When one server saw my husband trying to bring lukewarm water from the bathroom to heat our baby's milk, she whisked away our containers and brought hot water from the back without us even asking. The bartenders also gave super generous pours. When they saw my husband coming back repeatedly, they just gave him an entire mason jar of wine. Bonus star for the lovely staff here. If I ever splurge on Warriors tickets again, I would consider coming back for that 5 star treatment. read more

Since Chase Center opened, I've always seen the Modelo Cantina tickets pop up, saw it included food and beverage and said one day I'll go. Well that day was yesterday for a game against the Hawks. We got our tickets on their official resell site, TicketMaster. We got a pair of tickets for $179, for WCA row. The price included the game ticket and unlimited food and beverage for $90 a person was an absolute steal. I had the lowest of low expectations for the food, and I left pleasantly surprised. On the menu, they had carnitas tacos , which was build your own with flour tortillas. Twice baked potato skins, stuff poblano peppers, a nacho bar, salad station, popcorn, chips, and a dessert table. The buffet area isn't large, but everything we had was pretty tasty. They had these dulce de leche cannolis, which were so good, I'm ashamed at how many of these I ate, and I don't even like sweets lol Food was served until the end of the 3rd Quarter, and we were able to order drinks into the 4th Quarter. For the unlimited beverage, what was included was beer, wine, and NA drinks. The selection was solid, modelo, corona, Michelob ultra, golden state cider, and more. Not a wine drinker so didn't see what that looked like. Considering that beers cost $20 for a tall can, it's easy to get your moneys worth here if you have a few beers. While our tickets included f&b, They offer the buffet and drink package for $82, which might be a cheaper route versus buying à la carte at the various stalls throughout the arena, especially if you are seating near the club on the 2nd level. For the seats, we had a corner view so we had a great eye sight to the court. It's high up there but the views are still solid. If I'm gonna sit in the 2nd level, this is the place to be, especially if food and bev is included. We did bring cash to tip out the servers and bartenders so we didn't have to swipe our cards at any point to leave gratuity. Overall, a very solid experience. If you can get the tickets for a lower price, it's definitely one of the most underrated places to watch a game in the entire arena. read more

I went to my first Warriors game at Chase Center and had a balcony seat in Modelo Cantina which included AYCE drinks and food. The environment and service: The Modelo Cantina is a nicely spread out lounge area for the guests to comfortably sit, eat, and watch the Warriors play. It is high up so it's more of a bird's eye view to the court. But in my personal opinion, it's better than sitting in the regular seats of the arena. It's great that it's not overly packed with guests and the service from the staff was incredible, so it feels exclusive. The staff made sure to keep everything clean and kept the food and drinks flowing throughout the night. The food and drinks: Unlimited beer, wine, soda, water, etc. so my I never saw the bottom of my cup. The food was presented well and some of the items were tasty like the barbacoa, black beans, and rice. It would be nice if there was a little more variety but it was simple and good at the same time. Would I recommend it? Yes if you don't mind paying the premium to have unlimited drinks and Mexican food while watching the Warriors play. But no if you want comparable seats for cheaper and can get much larger variety of foods from the multitude of vendors throughout Chase Center. read more

The seats and view of the stage were fine. (super high up) I had my binoculars. Not the best seats for a comedy show. Took my family here as a treat. It was fun and my family had a good time with a cool unique experience. BUT, the food was down right terrible. The protein choices were either beans or some not tasty meatball stew. It was inedible. They told us the food would change at halftime but it never did. We ended up having a dinner of nachos and popcorn and beer. At least the bar was good. An attendant kept telling us to sit down even though we were standing in the middle of a large balcony with no one behind us or any chance of anyone falling. Nice having our own space and table but for the price I paid I would just as well been in a cheaper walkway seat with a table and getting our own food. This was my first time trying the bottomless buffet at the Modelo Cantina. It costs $82 per person and comes with a buffet and unlimited beer, wine, water, and soft drinks. For food they had a Poblano Quesadilla, Chicken, Mixed Green Salad, Black Bean Salad, Chip & Salsa, Popcorn, cookies, and a few other items. I actually enjoyed everything they had to offer, especially the Poblano Quesadilla. If your seats aren't in the Modelo Cantina you can go to any server in that area and let them know you want to purchase a wristband. The service of the servers was also really great as they were very attentive. They have ample tables where you can eat and drink. The buffet option is available throughout the entire game and we got there 45 mins before the game started which gave us enough time to eat and be in our seats by the time the game started. To get your money's worth I say arrive when the doors open for the game and go straight to the modelo cantina and eat and drink till the game starts and get more food throughout the game. We wait in section 221 and it was fairly close so we didn't mind going to get another beer. read more

We made a reservation there for a group dinner. However, in order to get in there, we had to go through Chase Center which required us to have tickets. This was not made clear before hand and we ended up having to scramble and get tickets last minute on the spot. That was not a fun experience. After we managed to get up to the restaurant, they were not able to confirm our reservation. We were told that the tables were free seating - if we leave our table and if it gets crowded, anyone could potentially take our table. It eventually kind of all worked out - we all got tickets in addition to the cost for the food at the restaurant, and the place never got too crowded so we kept our spot. On the other hand, even though it was buffet and endless beer, there really wasn't much food choices. The good thing was that amongst the choices we had, the food did taste pretty good in general. My favorites were the salads, the chicken, sautéed mushroom, and rice. In retrospect and now with better understanding after the experience, this place is really more of an add-on to the events in Chase Center, so people should not expect to come for food as the priority. The description from the Chase Center website says "Tickets for individual games and other select events are available for purchase in the Modelo Cantina". But the catch is that you need a ticket first to get to there which wasn't explained. It almost sounded like you can go to the restaurant and then decide if you want to buy tickets for events which wasn't the case. read more

Such a great in arena experience for warriors games! Friendly waitstaff and exceptional bartenders!! Access to a buffet, and open bar (select wine and beer) included for all ticket holders. However if you're sitting elsewhere in the arena you can still purchase access to this lounge for $55. Good view of the court, pretty far away but expected with the height of the lounge. read more

Absolute rudest bartenders I've ever met in my life. Didn't realize pouring one beer into a glass was such a hassle to you both. To top it off, thanks for being incredibly rude to my 74 year old dad who doesn't have a loud voice and speaks English as his second language... all he was asking for was two bottles of water. At least the food was decent and the ushers were super nice. This is probably a great perk for those who have access to the cantina because their seats allow them access, but to those who just want to hang out and dine, I would skip this place. I had the buffet here for $55, which included unlimited Modelo beers, and it was not worth the price. The main entree food selection only included rice, chicken verde, squash, and salads. The chicken was dry and the salad lettuce was wilted from sitting out without being kept cold. The dessert bar had pretzels and cookies. And the snack bar had popcorn and tortilla chips with salsa/guac. All were subpar. The a la carte dishes were just as bad. The ingredients were far from fresh, the food comes out somewhat warm and got cold quickly, and the taste just wasn't there. The dining tables don't get you a view of the game, so eat fast and get to your seats. The buffet and unlimited Modelos were available for re-entry throughout the game, but it was inconvenient for us to go back after we left because of the locations of our seats. My boyfriend and I decided to get dinner at The Modelo Cantina before the Valentines Day game at Chase Center. It seemed like the perfect place to grab dinner before the game so we could get in early and get the swag they were handing out. We were able to secure a 6pm reservation only a few days before the game with email confirmation from the team at Chase Center. When we arrived at 6pm we got seated at a table that didn't have a view of the court. This was understandable since the reservation was made late and we weren't planning to still be eating when the game started anyway. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. Our waiter came about 10 minutes after we sat and we put in our drink order. Then we waited for our drinks for over 30 minutes while the restaurant began to fill up and the game drew closer. Our waiter not only didn't bring our drinks during all that time, but also didn't take our food order or even look our way so we could flag him down. My boyfriend had to go look for the waiter who didn't seem eager to talk to him, and after that I had to go find a different waiter to talk to to get someone to come to our table. In the end, we got our drink order at 6:45, very disgruntled, and decided to grab dinner at a food stand instead so we wouldn't miss the game. Service was awful and really killed the vibe leading up to the game. We were not the only table that had trouble getting their order or having their order taken. Would not recommend. read more
