They have only acknowledged one email that I've sent, and that was over 3 weeks ago, with no progress and no follow up. I have no idea what's going on over there. I'm honestly writing this review in the hopes that someone from the company notices and responds. In the meantime, my advice is don't buy directly from Deuter USA's website. I have no idea what their products are like, because I haven't received mine. Update: Customer service finally got back to me today and they claim they are overnighting my order, which I appreciate. I guess if you experience a problem, communicating via their online form (as opposed to calling) or beginning a new email thread (as opposed to replying to their emails) seems to have done the trick.

Through REI, Deuter replaced the pack and only asked that I pay shipping. In terms of the product, I've carried a pack almost every working day on my daily commute to work for the past 20 years. I've gone through many packs but none have been as comfortable in the summer as a Deuter Futura 28. The 2008 has been improved with an internal mesh pocket and a more easily accessible outer pocket. Its not light and fast but it is sturdy and comfortable. The real comfort comes from the internal frame air comfort mesh which keeps the pack off the carriers back. The downside is it looks like it should carry more than it does. Only a shovel pocket and more gear loops would improve this specific pack. I look forward to trying their other products.

In addition to stage makeup, there is a great selection of costumes, wigs and accessories. There is a free parking lot right in front of the store.
